Dani covered her mouth with her hand as the man next to her blew smoke from his cigar into the air. Her nose crinkled with disgust, she hated ciggarettes in any form. Nothing but cancer sticks to her. She stood and moved to a different seat on the city bus, her bag slung over her shoulder. It was her stop in about fifteen blocks. She hated living so far away from town, and not having a job really cut down on gas money. She was heading to a tattoo/piercing shop across town, she had heard they were hiring.

Dani had finally reached her stop, standing and exiting the bus. She thought it lucky that there was a bus stop in front of the shop, and she entered with confidence. But when she did, the two men inside who were working gave her an odd look. Great, how much do you want to guess they're sexist and I have no chance at this job. She grumbled inside her head. She gave a faux smile and approached the first man.

"I'm here for the opening," She put the newspaper on the table in front of him, "I saw your ad?"
