For the less prestigious and oldstyle, a small seafaring ship was coming up to the dock with a lively set of passengers, some were playing music and others were dancing alongside a young woman. While they were all enjoying themselves, the woman was clearly much, much more experienced at dancing, the way she moved seemed perfect in nearly every way, careless and free yet disciplined and artful. She wore the most interesting dress, far from normal and built in the most intricate and extravagant of ways, stylish gaps and cuts with draping fabric and decorative pieces. The ship may be a little outdated what with airships and other machines used for travel, but it was hard to take a sailor away from the sea, and some people preferred the old chocobo over all this new stuff. In a way, that was why Siela chose to take the boat over an airship, she'd never really travelled before and wanted to make the most of the journey. While excited and a little impatient to see all of the things she could learn, there was a lot of the world to see so she forced herself to be patient. All she had ever really known for most her life was Luca, it was quite the experience to finally be outside her little world to discover what she was missing. There was really no finer way to enjoy a boat cruise than dancing and music in her opinion, the other passengers and crewmen often joined in, some of them knew how to play instruments to help out. So her trip here had been quite eventful and fun, enjoying the ocean breeze and sprays of salty water, learning how to dance on the ever-shifting deck of a boat, it was all very fun. And so her boat slid into place against the old dock, loading ramp went down and everyone filed off after Siela finished her dance, laughing with the others. She carried a large suitcase down with her, it didn't look it but it was packed so full it'd probably exploded most cheaper suitcases, Siela liked having a few dresses and such on hand, as she was quite passionate in her work. Siela noticed a dozen or so airships landing on the beachhead too, while interesting, it didn't concern her all that much, she wanted to get into Besaid, though she also wanted to see more the island. The beach itself was amazing, she'd never really seen one before, all the sand and sun shining down, and then there was a small jungle just beyond the beach that she was very interested in seeing too. She started heading along the dock and onto the sand like the others, her heeled boots produced an amusing problem with the sand, but she adapted fairly quickly.

Jaska had been away from both parents for the better part of the year, seeing them only one time eight months back in Zanarkand, romancing about old times looking at what had happened to the to the once holy city as it was turned from the land of the dead to a thriving metropolis in dedicated to the high summoners that used the old methods to defeat the undefeatable sin. Shaking her head from the stories of old that mother and father had once told her about, but when ever she thought about such things, she longed to be a summoner like her mother before her. They were only thoughts and dreams of a hopeless romance that she would be able to have when the time came. Though the ending to such stories reguarding high summoners and how they had died at the end of such a pilgrimage, but Jaska had shook her head for more happier times were about to come. Mother and father were back at Besaid visiting Lulu and Wakka, so it would be a nice surprise for all of them and perhaps meet the old friends from the younger years seeing how they’ve been doing. It would be a surprise to them and herself considering none of them hadn’t seen another for the longest time, only desiring to blossom the friendship that they all had so enjoyed over the years before the split. Jaska had been exploring the unchartered places of Spira and uncovering some strange but interesting spheres in the process. Though it was nothing though just trying to settle the restless need of adventure like her parents before her, which she eagerly was driving to see. Her airship was something specially made from her grandfather Cid that was still his usual self, the small and nimble design allowed for more occupants but Jaska hadn’t really been around anyone enough to carry out a long enough conversation. The sands of Besaid where much whiter than she had remembered than five years ago, though its would be an event destined with entertainment, laughs, and remembering good times with those she remembered. Though she would give them a good run for their money in showing how good she had gotten at blitzball because of her fathers help, but the ship belonging to two people that she couldn’t recognize purely because of the distance between them but as she lowered the ship she knew who it was, it was Gippal and Ark. She had carried a blitzball with just about everywhere, to practice and show her father how much she had progressed in the times that she did see him, but she grabbed it anyways and head for the deck of her ship. Immediately called to them because of the thrill of seeing them again. “Gippal, Ark catch.” Jaska had tossed the ball upwards towards the dazzling blue sky, spinning a back flip as she kicked the ball that was now speeding towards them.

Ark was a young half Al Bhed and half Hume. Ark was standing ontop the Deck with the wind in his air, he stood up there when over the speakers was told they were nearing Besaid Island. Standing beside Ark was his best friend Gippal who is the son of one of his mothers best friends. Their parents used to travel Spira when they were younger as Sphere Hunters but now Ark likes to hunt for Spheres too with some of his mothers handed down to him when he started traveling. Ark likes to think of himself not only as a Sphere Hunter but also a Mercenary. It's either Gippal helping him out on finding a sphere or Arks following him for a profit. The ship lowered itself itself down onto the beach of Besaid where Gippal headed inside and soon after appeared infront of him on the ground. Ark stood at the top looking through out the crowd from the other ships and airships from above he noticed someone who looked familliar but he wasn't quite sure since he hasn't seen any of his old friends for about 5 years now, it looked like Jaska, the daughter of Autie Yunie and Uncle Tidus. Ark didn't say anything just continued looking to try and confirm it. "HEY ARK! COME ON ALREADY! YOUR SLOWING ME DOWN AGAIN!" Gippal yelled out to him. "YEAH YEAH JUST GIVE ME A SECOND." He yelled back out to Gippal. Just before heading inside to grab his stuff a voiced yelled out. “Gippal, Ark catch.” Ark turned around and saw a ball flying in his direction, being a bit hasty about things Ark ran off the Airship and performed a signature move which involved a flying hook which he had on his hip. He threw his hook and latched it onto the ball bringing it towards him and made a pass to Gippal directly below him than landing on his feet after a triple flip. "Nice catch Gip." Ark complemented Gip for the catch he made. "Hey Jaska! Nice Kick!! Wanna Play A Game!?" Ark yelled out to Jaska. "Gip, you wanna play to?" he than asked Gippal. |

Gippal was looking towards the ship that made port. He loved the sailing which he did while traveling. He looked even closer as he noticed a fair looking girl, (the distance made it hard to see her entirely.) She was walking through the sand with what seemed like High heels. He shook his head, the girl probably didn't travel much. He was still watching her when he barely heard "Gippal, Ark Catch!" looking towards the sound of the voice and barely noticing the ball cominng from right above him. His reflexes were good enough so he caught it in time. He looks back to where he heard the voice and saw a girl on top of a private airship. "Nice catch Gip." Then Ark yelled out "Hey Jaska! Nice Kick!! Wanna Play A Game!? Gip, you wanna play to?" he than asked Gippal. Gippal shook his head then said loud enough for Jaska to hear. "Eh playing keep away from Jaska gets boring quick!" he smiled as he looked back to Jaska. Spinning the ball on his forefinger for a moment he threw it up. As it came down he jumped and spun in two complete barrel rolls before kicking back up to Jaska and landing on his feet. Picking up his bag and throwing it over his shoulder as their airship started to take off to head back to Bevelle. He watched as it raised in the air, giving the pilot, who was a friend of Gippals a lazy salute in thanks for the ride. He looked back over to Jaska and started to make his way towards her. As he got closer he saw how much she change...for the better that is. Before when he last saw her they were both 13, though she was cute back then she had become much more...beautiful. "What have you been up to these past five years!" he called up, waiting for her to come down.

On an airship a couple of meters away from the island, a young man was currently engrossed in a seemingly large project. Sitting cross-legged on the ground hallway, his back to a large window that revealed an impressive view of the sky, he continued to work on the piece of machina in his hand. Tools and other various equipment were strewn all around him, occasionally hindering the path of other passengers. He found himself having apologize on more than one occasion as they expressed their frustration, but he really couldn't help himself when he was so close to getting the thing to work. Reaching for a nearby screwdriver, Njord twisted one last bolt and grinned. That should do it. He pushed himself to his feet and stretched as he looked at his surroundings to check the airships progress. Moving towards the window, he could see the sea below him and the clouds zooming past. A tiny speck in the distance was soon growing, larger and larger. Besaid Island. They would be reaching the destination really soon. It was probably best that he head towards one of the exits. Gathering his tools, he then started down the next hall. His hand reached up to remove the goggles he'd been wearing revealing his Al Bhed eyes, green with a spiral pupil. Turning a corner, he started making his way towards one of the ship's maps while brushing a hand through his blonde hair. The ship was relatively new, they had only excavated it a week ago and had been working on it consistently to get it running again. His parents had quickly started to work on their next salvaging project after it had been completed. Nhadala finding another site to excavate and Gippal back at Djose on that huge machina that was to be the ultimate fighter or something. This was perhaps the airship's first test run. So far, it was working pretty well, they had gotten here rather quickly. He still couldn't believe how long it had been since he had last saw his friends, the last time they all had been together was what? Maybe five or so years? He'd definitely been surprised to receive a call to gather here after all that time. He was snapped out of his thoughts as the pilot came over saying they were approaching. Soon he could see the docking area of the island, and another two airships nearby. One looked to be taking off, and another arriving. There was even a boat that seemed to have just docked near the harbor. His eyes focused on the two figures on the shore. Was that them? "Shall we dock?" Asked the pilot from the radio transmitter he had in his left ear. Njord shook his head with a slight grin. "No, I think I can manage from here." He responded reaching for a cable to his side and hooking one end to a pipe on the wall. "Just open the hatch." "Are you insane?" Came the pilot's reply. Even as he said it, the door started to slowly open as requested. "Maybe." Tugging on the cord to ensure it would hold, and calculating the distance and measurements with his eyes. Satisfied with it, he then gripped the other end of the cable, replaced his goggles over his eyes and jumped out the door. The wind blew against him as he dived forward before flipping over and hanging on the wire just a couple of inches over the water before simply letting go and dropping into the foot deep water. "Thanks for the ride!" He called up to the pilot before swimming towards the shore.

Jaska had anticipated the ball to be kicked back but had forgotten with age that the ball came flying with more velocity back towards her. Regardless she had caught the ball but had stung at her fingers, the impact had obviously hurt but she didn’t mind she got to see Gippal and Ark again which was enough for her was on any day. Placing the blitzball back down on the ships deck, her carefree attitude often forgot to put things away which was the leading culprit to losing so many blitzballs in her ventures. Moving only two or three steps before the edge started curving downwards, shoe rubber and metal sliding against another the friction grew heat but never caught a spark. The sandy blondish hair of Jaska naturally parted from the movement down to the beach, not flipping or performing anything of fancy nature only just wanting to land. Coming in contact with the ground only to catch herself with her legs, slightly running her hand across the ocean soaked sand that bathed in the sun before returning to a standing stance. “Long time it’s been.” The last time she had seen Gippal was about five years ago, a scrawny and more lanky teenager at that time. She was surprised though with him having grown muscles and filling out quite nicely she did have to admit, but was curious as to why he was here. In her mind Jaska always thought he would be out exploring the unknown like she did a trivial thought but now returning full attention back to him. “Oh you know me, exploring all over and spent time with dad in Zanarkand training listening to his old stories you know. That happened to be the reason why I’m here, is too see them again and of course LuLu and Wakka as well. Sooooo why are you here?” Usually Jaska didn’t talk this much, holding a much quieter reserve but it had been so long since she hadn’t seen him, unable to resist blabbering on.

Once Siela had gotten the hang of walking on sand properly, she looked around for where to go, there were a few crowds around in a cluster of reunions on the beach, though a few people seemed to be straying off toward a gap in the cove wall. One particular reunion did appear to be a little out of the ordinary, at first a girl kicked a blitzball flying a pair of guys, it was an extravagant kick not unlike those she'd seen in the Stadium. And then all of a sudden the two guys performed a few remarkable feats typical of a blitzer, the one used a strange hook thing and the other performed another extravagant kick to send the ball back to the girl. Siela personally loved blitzball almost as much as she loved dancing, though she'd never actually played it herself it looked incredibly fun. She did prefer the concerts over watching blitzball, but it still fascinated her just the same, the acrobatics and stunts a blitzer could perform could get quite mind-blowing. She just shrugged and lugged her suitcase along towards where everyone was slowly migrating to, counting the days until she would have enough money for more dresspheres. Siela only had two right now, and she'd need about another six before she was happy, as the suitcase could get quite cumbersome at times. It was unfortunate dresspheres were ridiculously powerful and expensive, Siela was fairly well off for gil, but not that well off. Siela looked over at the three blitzers a few times as she made her way along the beach, interested to see if they'd do anything else.

A couple of seconds after Ark was standing on the beach the airship him and Gippal were on started taking off. "S**T My Stuff!" Ark yelled as he ran after the airship and jumped on just as it lifted from the beach. Ark running through the airship as it gets higher Ark came to his private Cabin busted in and grabbed his bag open the window and dived out of the window not knowing haw far up he flew through the air downwards and splashed into the water. For several seconds nothing came back up but a Blitzball that was different from the normal ball. This ball was black, blue and silver in colour. Other than that it had no significance. A few more moments later the Blitzball vanished and Ark jumped out of the water with the ball in hand and landed on the dock. Ark shook the water off and ran over to Gippal and Jaska. "Hey. I nearly forgot my stuff. So you up for that game Jaska?" Ark asked Jaska. "Where's the others?" Ark said as he looked around. "I swear there were more of us last time i checked."

Vidina woke up slightly late today and he was quick to get out of the hut, he knew that a few of his old friends were coming back for a while, having heard about Jaska coming back through his parents and her parents knowing each other. He charged down to the beach, taking a big leap down to get there sooner. He could see Jaska, Ark and Gippal. "Hey guys! Glad to see that you're back!" He noticed the blitzball and smirked. "Still into blitzball then? Well how about a game? It'll be fun to see how you three are at it after five years." He was quite excited about seeing them again, though he had a change of hair colour since they had been gone.
