Wind and rain swept around the trees, the massive twister immense. Jimmie’s eyes widened, this pokemon was far more powerful than he had guessed. Keeping a cool head, as the cyclone of wind and rain tore through the dirt and grass straight at the normal type, Jimmie kept his eyes straight forward not wavering for a second. Jehiel at first reacted on his own using his little legs he gripped his claws into the dirt pulling back one leg after the other, all it took was seconds and the raccoon pokemon had disappeared underneath the ground.


Jimmie smirked, Jehiel liked to act on his own preferring to stray from his masters directions unless he needed help in a tough spot. He using dig would be an example of this, but he had made the right move it seemed as the miniature tornado passed over the whole. Knowing Jehiel he would wait till the storm dissipated before making his next move.

"Nice move." The storm began to die down, and Johnny smirked. He saw the irony of forgetting to use the Earthquake TM when he had the chance. Oh well. He had a backup strategy. "Dragon Dance!"" His stats went up further, and his eyes stayed glowing a bright red. "Now, aim at the earth. Hyper Beam!" The beam of pure kinetic energy left Dratini's mouth and shot straight through the earth, grwoing bigger with each passing second.

"What are you doing out here anyways?" she asked him.

"This may sound stupid but i find the rain relaxing to me, it helps me clear my thoughts for a while as if its washing off me with the rain" he hoped it didn't sound to silly even though it pretty much was.

Seeing the dratini use hyper beam Nick jumped a little as it came out of its mouth such pure energy. Looking at Trinity again "So why are you out here then?" still watching the battle pan out

What raw power was the only thing the young trainer could think when the beam of pure energy plowed into the ground pluming smoke up and sending it flying every direction. Bringing up an arm he covered his face as the smoke flew past, the blast causing the earth to shake from the incredible force.

Where is that strength coming from? It’s unreal.

As the smoke cleared neither trainer could see anything. Accept a massive crater now sunk into the earth. Jimmie smirked as Jehiel was no where to be seen. Two words left his grinning mouth “Jehiel…. Surface….” The earth and grass next to the dragon erupted as a brown and white raccoon could be discerned in the midst of the flying wet grass and dirt, the small pokemon twisting his body around in midair to face the dragon type. If one were to look close enough you would swear you could see a smile on Jehiel’s face, as his claws came down ready to strike the Dratini. The momentum of the emergence from the ground below with the added the spin and it’s sure to slice anything it hits.

Trinity smiled softly at Nick. "No its not stupid at all. The rain can be very relaxing at times. The soft sound of it beating against the ground can be very soothing." She then looked back at the battle and entwined her hands behind her back. "I followed Jimmie here." She said to him. "I wasn't sure what he was going to do. And I was curious. So I followed him." She then turned her attention back to the fight, noticing Johnny's Dratini was just about to be attacked by Jimmies Zigzagoon.

Seeing the Zigzagoon come from the ground so close to Dratini, quite frankly, scared the living crap out of him. Dratini looked for the split second it oculd, before the Zigzagoon attacked. "Shit, hyper beam again!" Dratini opened his mouth and prepared to unleash another wave of the raw power at the small racoon. All that left his mouth however was a spark and nothing more. The zigzagoon smashed into Dratini, and he went careening backwards. Dratini struck a tree, and went down for the count.

"Damn. Go Cubone! Focus Energy!" the Cubone sat down and closed it's eyes. Suddenly they flashed opened and Cubone was ready to attack. "Go Bone Club!"

Jehiel once more retreated to there side at the ready, when the poke ball’s bright flash of red light revealed a Cubone. This was going to be a much tougher opponent for Jehiel. The raccoon pokemon could tell not only did his new adversary also have a lot more resistance to his attacks, but his eyes showed something the Dratini’s did not, experience. “Jehiel be careful with this one.” The raccoon nodded his head slightly in confirmation.

Jimmie could not help but grin at the way things were turning out. This was going to be a lot more fun then he had originally thought. He listened to the order that Johnny relayed to his own pokemon, Focus Energy. If the older boy could remember right, that attack focused more energy into attacks making them far stronger. With that strength one hit might be able to take Jehiel out. “Jehiel watch out getting hit by him even once could cost us the battle.”

Jehiel nodded as Cubone dashed forward club of bone spinning rapidly in his hand, Jehiel waited for no command and on instinct hopped to the side just to avoid the weapon as it smashed down into the ground. "Now Jehiel follow up with a head butt." The canine pokemon turned on a dime falling back with his back legs, springing forward aiming for a pointblank head butt.

Trinity watched the fight intently, her eyes showing great interest. Both of the trainers where obviously well experienced. She watched the two pokemon battle and clenched her teeth slightly. It was a habit she had done since she was smaller. She would get so wrapped up in the fight, even if it wasn't her own. Whenever a pokemon would get hurt she would even flinch or jump slightly.

"Damn, damn, damn. Cubone, this isn't a good spot for you now. Jump!" The Cubone looked quizical for a moment, then he saw the racoon charging at full force.

"Cuuu!"

Cubone jumped high in the air, and managed to grab an overhanging branch just as Zigzagoon finished charging. Jehiel looked around for Cubone, and Johnny winked at Cubone. He let go of the branch and swung downwards with another strong, focus energy enchaned, Bone Club.

"CUUU!"

“So… not only does that Cubone of yours have some powerful hits, but it’s quick on its feet too.” Jimmie said in air of observation. The ground type now was falling straight down at his partner swinging his club down full force once more. Both he and Jehiel had the same anxious look in their eyes, it was almost as if they were really enjoying themselves.

As the weapon came down, the raccoon pokemon once again relied on pure instinct and rolled his little body just out of the way as the crushing blow hit nothing but ground.

Damn it… all we can do right now is stay on the defensive. It’s that damn club, if we could get rid of it things might even up just a bit.

A look of elation crossed his face and Jimmie relayed his next command. “Jehiel bite down on the club.” Jehiel still being right next to the ground type, opening his jaws flew forward gripping his sharp teeth around the hard white bone that was Cubone’s weapon. “Good now don’t let go.”
