The rain blocked everything from view water now fell from the sky, each drop bringing its own sound as it pelted against the now muddied ground of the earth, lightning now lighting up the scene that was taking place.
Jimmie smirked. Jehiel was no where to be seen as Cubone pounded his head meaninglessly against the soft mud now splattering with every hit. Once again the raccoon must have burrowed into the earth bellow, Jimmie had to give the little guy credit he was damn resourceful. It was time for his move now. “Jehiel, end this fight anyway you like!” He shouted through the wind, rain and thunder. No sooner had the words left then the small canid pokemon had once more exploded from the dirt bellow just behind his opponent his head tucked in shooting right for cubone’s backside for a crushing headbutt. |

Jimmie looked out at the scene, it was very clear that both pokemon had been knocked out. Letting out a sigh the older boy let his eyes meet Johnny's. "It was a good battle, but the victory should have been yours." He paused gathering his thoughts as he walked over and scooped Jehiel up into his arms. His soppy wet fur dripping with water and mud. "You see, the Cubone over there is still quite young, and it's skull hasn't really hardened yet. Had he been a bit older, he would have barely felt Jehiel's headbutt." He stated monotonously.
"Looks like you can back up all that determination you have afterall." He looked down at the unconcious pokemon in his arms and reached back towards his belt and pulled out a pokeball. After enlarging it he held it over his partner, who the disappeared in a flash of red light. |

Trinity noticed the rain started to let up. The sun peeked through the clouds and its rays beamed down on the wet earth. She could now see what was going on in the battle. But to her disapointment, she saw that the battle was over and both pokemon where unconscious. She sighed and hung her head. She had stood out in that downpour of rain for nothing. Her clothes, shoes, and hair where now all dripping wet. She looked up, and noticed Jimmie's pokemon was no longer out. He must have returned it. She walked up to Johnny and stared at him questionably. "What happened?" Was the first question to come out of her mouth.

Though the question had not been directed towards him, Jimmie had felt inclined to answer the young girl himself. "Just a friendly pokemon battle, nothing else." He chuckled. His eyes gave the girl a brief glance, she was a young woman probably a year or so younger than him. If had remembered correctly earlier he had heard her go by the name trinity. At the name he was a little surprised. She must be the same person who beat the Kanto gym leaders not too long ago.

Trinity turned towards Jimmie and blinked. He, for some reason, had a hint of reconization in his eyes. She just shrugged it off and then smiled at him kindly. "Thank you." She replied to him. She looked around, noticing some trees had been knocked down a ways off. Probably struck by the strong wind that the storm had caused.

"Aye, those winds were brutal." He turned his attention to Jimmie. "So what? It was a draw, are you coming with us or not? It's up to you." He walked over to the KO'ed Cubone and hefted his small body up in his arms, and he realized Jimmie was right about Cubone's skull. He recalled him into his pokeball and whispered a few words into his and Dratini's pokeballs.

"Heh... alright. Welcome aboard. C'mon guys we'll regroup at the inn. Powers out. He ran through the forset, jumping over downed logs and through bushes. He made it back at the inn, and decied to wait for everyone there.

James had been staying at the inn telling his current party about his adventures in Sinnoh. A couple members of his party were caught there, but Gigabyte never saw Sinnoh outside the mansion and Vulcan was too preoccupied with battling opponents a lot stronger than him. The Pokémon were awestruck about going with a trainer that was experienced.
