Garthir had just recived his pokemon. He had gotten Zangoose and torchic. Garthir had walked a long way to get here and he was ready to start his journey. He walked into the store and saw some other trainers. He walked over to them and said, "So what did you get?"

"A dratini, totadile, and a cydaquil." He said instinctivly. "Wait, who are you? I'm John Powers. You can call me Johnny. So what are you going to do here in Hoenn?"

"Travel together?" Trinity asked them. She began to think about it. After a bit she smiled, she liked the idea. "Yeah sure. I'd love to travel with you guys." She then looked over to the other guy that had aproached them. "Hello." She said to him.

Jimmie lazed back in against the wall of the pokemart his hands crossed behind his had as to give it a bit of support with a backpack on his lap . It was a sunny day, with rays spreading their bright warmth over the few people of Littleroot. To his side lay a clump of white and brown stripped fur, that was the Zizagoon, Jehiel. Jimmie Turner was one of the few kids out there that had no desire to go on a Pokemon journey. The fact of leaving his home behind really didn't appeal to him much, he had a good life here why waste it? It's not that he didn't like Pokemon either Jehiel and himself were inseparable. Eventually though push came to shove and his mother had finally convinced him to go. He reached his hand out from behind his back and absentmindedly stroked the soft yet somewhat prickly fur of his partner. All he had to do now was actually leave the town, which ha had been stalling with all day.

The voices of the trainers starting to congregate around the Pokemon market was slowly beginning to aggravate him. New trainers he guessed, all had the jitters and excitement that came with getting the first Pokemon. It was understandable, but he still wish they would shut up, they're constant chattering made it very difficult to get in a nap. Sighing he closed his eyes and began snoring in a blissful state of sleep, Jehiel joining in the rythem with his own snores. Hopefully he could get at least a few minutes before someone woke him up.

Kyutto smiled, strolling into littleroot town. She had obtained her pokemon from professor Birch a couple of minutes ago and her ralts was walking next to her. "Now what" she muttred to herself looking around, she had got 5 pokeballs off of the professor. She smiled and started walking towards the next town.

"Awesome. We should all try to get to the top together. I'll be outside." He took a few steps outside and saw an older guy playing with a Zigzagoon and a young looking, pretty girl. Aw who was he kidding. She was hot. ((lol)) He walked towards her and said nothing expecting her to go towards the mart, but her feet led her towards the road to the next town. Which for Johnny, spelt bad news. He decided to take the initiative, and walk towards her. When he got close enough to talk, he spoke. "Hey, what pokemon did you get?"

Stirring from his very short and unsatisfying nap, Jimmie took a stand to stretch his weary muscles while his eyes wondered the near by area looking for the source of his rather rude and unpleasant awakening. Beside him Jehiel also rose as his trainer's shift in position had in turn disturbed his own sleep, the Zizagoon let out a somewhat high pitched noise that resembled something of a yawn and stayed close by Jimmie's side. After glancing around for few seconds his eyes fell onto the most likely source of his current frustration, a loud mouth kid who was currently trying his luck at wooing a pretty girl. The young under achiever couldn't help but grin at the sight, those he deemed naive idiots tended to entertain Jimmie a great deal, ad this kid looked about as innocent as they come. Still he couldn't blame him, the kid after all was just a kid who probably had dreams of beating the elite four and challenging the gym leaders of Hoenn.

Sighing he ran a hand through the mop of messy brown hair and turned his head to look at his furry companion. “I guess we should get going soon, right J?” he said an air of melancholy in his voice. Jehiel looked up at his partner with wide eyes, and just gave the teenager a shrug of his raccoon body, as if to say “Sure, whatever.” Despite the Pokemon's lack of enthusiasm Jimmie was still pleased, since Jehiel really didn't communicate that often when he was tired. He guessed it was really time to hit the road before it got too late, it left a bit of a sad thought in his mind. Sure Twinleaf town had not been much, but it still had been a good home. He reached down wrapping his fingers around the material of his backpack strap and slung it over his shoulders, it was time to get going. Before he actually took off though he glanced to his right to see a group of younger kids talking. He had been surprised to see so many, guess they had quite a few Pokemon this year. They all seemed to be talking about traveling together, that figured. Was it not every kids dream to go off exploring the wilderness with friends, and he guessed the kid up a head was trying to get that other girl to join them.

Paying no mind to them he motioned for Zizagoon to follow as he finally began his first steps on the road. The young Pokemon scurried along just beside him not wanting to get separated. He grinned as his clumsy Pokemon stumbled over his own feet a bit, and then look forward at the road a head. A few more steps and he passed the younger teens, not saying a word or sparing them a glance. He just hoped the kid didn't notice him, the last thing he wanted were traveling companions, as he liked going at his own pace.

Kyutto was startled by the boy "Emm a ralts, growlithe and cubone" she said "Im Kyutto" SHe said extending her hand.

"John Powers. But you can call me Johnny" He shook her hand and walked alongside her, hoping for James and the rest to hurry up. "So, where are you from? I'm from Kanto, but my family moved to Sinnoh when I was young. My dad runs the Eterna gym over there. Well, anyways I got a Dratini, Cyndaquil, and Totadile. Did you think of any good nicknames for your Pokemon yet?"

The rest of the group wasn't following, so he had to stall and manage to get back to the Mart. "So...did you check out the PokeMart yet? They have a cool promo offer. A free pokeTech app for filling out a survey. You should go check it out."
