James exited the mart to find Johnny courting a girl near the town's exit. Good luck, mate, he thought.

Garthir walked a short distance away and pulled out a pokeball. Throwing it out into the battlefield he yelled, "Go Zangoose!" A zangoose popped out and stood toughly by Garthir, its claws ready for battle. "Oh, I don't know about losing. You might just be surprised," Garthir said to Jonny. He had a few tricks up his sleeve but he was not about to reveal them just yet, "Zangoose use quick attack!" Garthir yelled and Zangoose dove at Jonny's Dratini with lightning speed. Untrained the Zangoose only glanced off the left side of Jonny's Dratini and darted back to a defensive position.

“Right....” Jimmie commented in a voice of uncertainty. He gave her a somewhat concerned but shook it off, and and plopped his bag on the ground by his feet. Then in a low crouch he touched an arm to the ground and allowed the now fully awake Jehiel to slide off. The Pokemon glanced towards the other two playing in the nearby grass, and gave a bored impression before walking over to his own little patch of grass and curling u into a ball of fur. The raccoon Pokemon's trainer sighed at the sight, Jehiel had never been good around other Pokemon and those were just the facts. Still... he wished there was someway to break him out of his shell.

Taking his eyes off his small yet furry companion for a few seconds he found them once more falling over the young woman before him. In short this girl was very, very pretty, he would have said hot but that just wasn't how his mind works, not after all the years his mother had spent grounding it into his head how to be a perfect gentleman. out. He studied her for a moment, she was young, he ventured to guess maybe two or three younger than himself, had long cascading locks of read, and sapphire orbs not that different from his own. Just by looking at her face though he could tell she wasn't in the best of moods, so he gave her a curt smile and took a seat on the ground.

"I'm Kyutto by the way"

“Kyutto...” He rolled the name through his mouth slowly as if trying to memorize it. “Well Kyutto nice to meet you, I'm Jimmie.” He said in an uncharacteristically upbeat tone.”And that clump of fur,”he pointed behind him at his partner. “is Jehiel.”

"Heh." Dratini just flinched a bit out of fear of the intense speed of the attack. But he recovered quickly and looked for orders from his master. "Lets use it. Got it? Use Hyper Be-" John fell to the floor as a club cam to his head. "Gah...Rocket?" He turned his head towards his atatcker and saw the crimson R against the black outfit. His theory was proven, and before temporsry death swallowed him, he screamed. "James! Rockets!" And here, blissful sleep engulfed him and dark death took him for those moments. "Someone help the Pokemon..." Those were the last words he could utter before he lost his conscieness.

Trinity gasped. "Johnny?" SHe called out to her fallen friend on the ground. "Johnny!" SHe called out to him again. There was no responce. She looked up at the 'Rocket' person and glared. "What did you do to him?!" She asked him angrily. The rocket person turned to her. "What's it to you kid?" He asked her, a smirk on his face. Trinity's glare hardened. "What do you mean 'What's it to you'?! You just knocked out my friend!" The rocket chuckled evily. "So? Its not like you can do anything about it." He said to her cockily. Trinity clenched her teeth and wrapped her right hand around the pokeball of her Seviper.

The rocket noticed this and smirked again. "You wanna challenge me?" Trinity took a few steps forward and took her pokeball off her belt. The rocket shrugged. "Well if thats what you want. But dont blame me when you lose." He then took one of his pokeballs and threw it out towards the ground. "Go! Eevee!" A cute little Eevee popped out of the pokeball he had thrown. Trinity's eyes widened. 'An Eevee?' She thought to herself. Her anger was then starting to turn into excitement. Eevee was her favorite pokemon. She grinned and threw her pokeball. "Alright! Go! Seviper!" The Seviper she had gotten just earlier popped out of the pokeball and landed on the ground.

"Seviper!" He hissed. The rocket glared at her pokemon. Obviously he disliked snake ones. "Eevee, use quickl attack!" He yelled out to his Eevee. Eevee zoomed over to the Seviper and went to tackle him. "Seviper! Use bite!" Trinity yelled out to her pokemon hurriedly. Seviper went to sink his fangs into the Eevee neck, and he succeeded. The Eevee yelped in pain and quickly escaped from Sevipers jaws and ran back to its original position infront of the rocket. The rocket glared at his Eevee. "What was that?! You pathetic creature you weren't supposed to get hit!" The Eevee glared at the rocket. Trinity did as well. Obviously he didn't know how to treat pokemon right. Then Trinity yelled another command to her pokemon. "Seviper use bite again!" The Seviper slithered over quickly to the Eevee and went to bite when it had its head turned.

Eevee quickly turned around, but wasn't quick enough, and got bit again. It squirmed out of the Sevipers jaws once again and breathed heavily. "Eevee! Use quick attack now!" The rocket yelled out to his Eevee. Eevee glared up at the rocket again but then, regretingly, used quicky attack on Seviper.Seviper was unable to dodge and got hit full blast. Since her Seviper was on a lower level then the Eevee it was now weaker, breathing heavily as well. Trinity clenched her fists. It appeared that one more hit would do it for him. "Eevee! Use tackle you weakling!" The rocket yelled out at the Eevee. YOu could hear a growling sound coming from teh Eevee. And then, instead of running towards Seviper, the Eevee ran towards the rocket, lunging onto his leg. The Eevee started to bite his leg. He screamed out in pain. "Stop it! Stop it you pathetic creature stop it!" He yelled out angrily and painfully.

Trinity's eyes widened. The rocket finally kicked his leg up in the air and the Eevee flew right towards Trinity. Trinity's eyes widened again and she quickly held her hands out, catching the Eevee in her arms. The rocket quickly limped off. Trinity looked down at the Eevee worriedly. It was out cold.

Another Rocket Grunt challenged James. "Go Swablu!" called the grunt.
"Sparky, I choose you!" called James, releasing his Pikachu.
"Swablu, Peck!"
"Sparky, Volt Tackle!" Sparky successfully dodged the Swablu and charged towards it, blazing with electrical energy. The Pikachu scored an excellent hit and KO'd the Swablu in one hit, receiving recoil damage in the process. "Stupid useless thing!" spat the Rocket. James was offended at the way the Rocket treated the poor cotton bird Pokémon. "Shock 'im!" ordered James. Sparky complied and fired a Thundershock at the Rocket, electrocuting him into unconsciousness. James took possession of the Rocket's Swablu and said to someone that was not busy battling, "Summon the local Officer Jenny here!"

"On it James." By now, John had come out from his slumber and had the Police Department on the line. "Rockets. Littleroot." He hung up and in about 5 minutes, the sleeping Rocket was arrested. "So how is everyone? I'm go-ahhh. You know what? Screw it. I need a freaking doctor. Or an advil." He took a potion from his bag and looked at it. Shrugging, he popped the cap and downed it. "Much better. You should try one James." He steadied himself and faced Garthir.

"Sorry. Looks like we ain't battling today. We will soon though." He rubbed his head and recalled Dratini. "So James. Whats the next town? We should probably stay there for the night. I feel hungover. Don't ask." He started walking and noticed Trinity with a new Pokemon. "Wait. Triniti you beat a Rocket? Already? And you got an Eevee out of it. Nice. And James, you got a Swablu right? Awesome. I'm looking to snag a Bulbasaur." He started walking a bit and came to a stop near the edge of town waiting for the others to follow him.

Trinity returned her Seviper and quickly follwed Johnny, the Eevee cradled in her arms. She came to a stop next to him and sighed. She looked down at the Eevee worriedly and turned her attention to the pokemon center. Perhaps she should heal the Eevee before she continued...

"According to my Pokétch*, the next town is Oldale Town, which is a stone's throw north of here," replied James, "We need to get the poor things to the Pokémon Centre there post-haste!" James had a look that meant business as he hurried off to the Oldale Town Pokémon Centre, knowing that Littleroot Town didn't have a Pokémon Centre.

"I'm coming. I'm coming." He started running after him, but on the way north, he saw Kyutto with some other older guy with a zigzagoon. "Oh hey Kyutto, you missed my knockout battle. Should've seen it." He turned to her new companion. "I'm John Powers. Nice to meet you."
