IC: All things have their end, even cycles guided by fate. Hyrule is gone, but so are the waters that covered the blessed land. New Hyrule has risen to replace the old and its people returned. We are a blessed people. But something is still wrong. In the far reaches of New Hyrule old evils are beginning to stir again. The Triforce is safe, but the taint of evil remains. I see or past and our present, but the future is obscured from me. What is the cause of these things I have felt and these images I have seen? Something lurks just out of my sight; something that I can only see if I could look behind my own eyes. This darkness is not of my world, but it is of my world at the same time. I fear for the future and for you. A terrible tragedy is looming and this time I fear we will fail to circumvent it. - Maldron, Sage of Truth to the King of New Hyrule It was morning in the Lost Woods and for the moblins of Kerosh tribe there was plenty of reason to celebrate. Their snorts and howls of laughter reverberated all through the woods and back to their lair. The reason for their celebration trailed behind them in a long procession. This line consisted of over twenty bulbo that they’d ‘liberated’ from a nearby bulblin tribe. The boar-like creatures would make for fine eating until they decided to sack some of Nakaya’s homesteads again. Three dead ones were already tied to spits for roasting. Far behind the trail of moblins and bulbo, a lone dragon trudged along. His thick hide and scales were covered with nicks and cuts. Along his side a few arrows protruded from the spots where their dead archers had found weak points. As the dragon walked it dragged several weights that were chained to its midsection, neck, hind legs, and tail. Directly to the rear of the dragon, or Rasterok to those that cared enough to call him by his name, a few bokoblin servants to the tribe’s chief whipped at his fresh cuts to spurn him forward. Back at the front of the line the tribe’s leader, Morpen exalted in the praise of his followers. Morpen was big, even by moblin standards, and looked every bit the cruel, if not cunning leader. He stood a full foot over the rest of the tribe and his blue skin was thick with muscle underneath. His spear carried a slightly green glow to it and hovered alongside it’s master obediently. Perhaps Morpen’s most unusual feature was the wooden mask that laid flat against the top of his head like a hat. Only close inspection could reveal that the mask bore the face of a hylian. The procession stopped as they reached a nondescript cave near the outskirts of the woods. From inside came a few squeals and laughter in response, signaling that all was well. Satisfied, Morpen stood before his people and addressed them. “We gotta good haul this time. Soon it’ll be even better. Our next stop is Nakaya and nothin’ can stand in our way. The world wants ta forget about us, but we won’t let ‘em! We’re gonna take ‘em for all their worth. Soon this land will be callin’ me King Morpen!” At the back of the line Rasterok took one look at the entrance to his defiled lair and saw red. As he tried to bark out the curses in his head, the magic muzzle clamped down tighter on his jaws. He knew it was futile to try, but he still yearned for the day when he could rip Morpen apart. If he could just hold out long enough, Rasterok knew he’d get the chance to even the score.

He had seen Rasterok a while ago, but he had kept silent and in the shadows. He had trifled with many moblins in the past, but never a tribe of them and their leader did seem somewhat harsh.
The procession had passed him a while ago, all piece by piece. The Bulbo had been interesting. He had considered briefly throwing his blade in their direction and inciting them to stampede, but then he would be in a dangerous area without a weapon and this was not an idea he was too fond of. He had let them pass without a word. As the back of the progression came into view Giro had his first look at Rasterok. This was likely a creature he could liberate, if only because the back end of the group was so far behind the front. They were too close right now, but an opening might become available soon. Quietly, but not silently, Giro crept from his hiding place towards the back of the group, then moved quickly into the shade of a tree. He was not spotted, though likely heard. Still no one came. His blade was drawn and held lax. At this time of day the fading sun might send them the reflection from the steel and that would give him away. Briefly, Giro wished to have his bow from his army days, then gave it up as gone. He crept forwards again, more quietly this time. He heard Morpen's speech at the cave and waited for the leader to go out of sight. When the dragon was beginning to enter the cave the back group would be vulnerable and without aid. After that likely the Dragon himself would do the rest.

Lily ran through the Lost woods, her bow in hand. She was heading towards her favorite spot in the Woods, a massive oak where she spent many long hours daydreaming. While Lily ran along a stream, she heared shouts and laughter. Who would be stupid enough to camp out here in the Woods? Lily thought as she leaped over the stream, making her way to the oak. As she rounded a bend through some large trees, Lily skidded to a halt and gasped. A progression of moblins were entering a cave nearby. Lily estimated that there was about twenty bulbo trailing behind. They must have been the ones I heared earlier, she realized. Lily then shrank back into the bushes. One of the moblins had heared her entrance and looked her way. It apparently didn't see her, for it grunted and kept following its friends. I need to get somewhere where I can see better, Lily thought. Glancing around, she saw a tree that was covered in shadows. That will do nicely. Lily crept silently towards the tree, using her years of childhood expirience of playing in the Woods to avoid stepping on any twigs or branches that would give her away. When she reached the base of the tree, Lily flipped herself onto a low branch and obscured herself with leaves. Here she got her bow and arrows ready to defend herself if need be. She then watched the moblins carefully, ready to take any chance she could to get more information.

“Just what do you think you’re doing here?” said a voice from another area of darkness in the temple.
It’s own was a thin man whose composure matched that of a scholar. Or it would have if he didn’t look like he’d lived out on the street. The rags he wore looked like they belonged to a member of the Hyrule court if they weren’t soiled and rent from years of use. The man’s black hair was wild, thick, and long and his beard was no different. In fact his head looked more like a large hairball with a pair of green eyes staring out. The man stepped out into an area of light and regarded his strange visitor with the umbrella. As he stepped out, a long silver chain could be seen attached to the cuff that was clamped around the man’s right wrist. “Ah… It’s you. Illuman, right? Or was it Illumin? I’m sorry, I’m terrible with names,” the thin man guffawed at his own inside joke and continued, “I suppose you’re wondering who I am. Well I’ll save you the trouble. I’m Adon, twin brother to Maldron the Sage of Truth. I’m the Sage of Possibilities or you may be more familiar with my other title as the Sage of Lies. My brother sees the things which are set and unchanging. I see the opportunities and what can be. I see that you are here to have some questions answered, but which ones do you want answered. Pray tell. I don’t get many visitors and the townsfolk might soon be upon you.” --- Rasterok saw the glint of metal but made no effort to acknowledge it. He doubted that the man could do much to remove the iron bands that held his weights or possessed the magic to undo his muzzle. He grunted and tried to think about something other than the bokoblin’s whips. It wasn’t his problem if the man wanted to get himself killed. Of course in his reverie, Rasterok completely missed seeing Lily. Slowly, the dragon and his handlers made their way into the cave.

The moblins of the Hyrule plains were a stupid bunch that could barely forge metal into spears. There were other beasts that wandered the area, but the notoriety of the moblin could compare to no other beast in the lands of the modern Hyrule. None so barbaric, so disgusting, so vile, so wasteful...
Wasteful, yes. Wasteful would be why Maydolare shimmied up a tree to chase the over-muscled group that dared to call themselves intelligent beings. They weren't even smart for men, nevermind sentient creatures. Blast, that dammed teaching among the Gerudo that men were vile and disgusting. Maydolare was taught that all men were vile and inferior, with the exception of the Gerudo King, and even then, the women of the Thieves tribe never forgot the origin of the Dark Lord, whom was one of these kings. So, many Gerudo believed that all men without exception were vile and/or inferior. Ever way, a waste to talk to. Maydolare would only have the thought cross her mind as the moblin were patriarchal, proof being that the women were rarely seen. She was only thinking about the treasures of the beasts. This would be an easy take for her, as she has been in the houses of the rich, with their jewels under her wing. Brushing the orange hair out of her golden eyes, trained on the mouth of the cave as the leader gave a rambling about how their time was coming and all. In the trees, the dark-skinned woman would wait in the trees until the beasts fell asleep in their den, the sounds drowned out by the snoring of the gluttonous animals. Padding down her white bedlah, she looked out and onward. Patience was a virtue taught to the young girls of the gerudo, and it was a lesson she would hold dare here. Movement in the trees nearby the mouth got Maydolare's curiousity. Just what creature hid in there? She only noted it in case she had to escape, or rescue someone from the area. To be sure, she silently motioned closer to the moving tree, and keep one golden eye on the moblins, and another on whatever it was in the tree.

While Lily was carefully watching the moblins, she heared a bare rustle of braches nearby in the tree. She held her breath, hoping that it was a sparrow or some other innocent creature. Though Lily didn't hear anything else, she decided to investigate the sound. Lily turned and crept thorugh the overgrowth, trying to keep her shadow away from the party of moblins below. Lily climbed down a branch and came face-to-face with another person. She nearly cried out in surprise, but bit her tounge just in time. That's a Gerudo, Lily thought as she saw the woman's dark skin and golden eyes. Not wanting to speak aloud for fear of detection, she mouthed what are you doing here? to the Gerudo.

Levis kneeled before the altar of the great Temple of Time. The whispers of the spirits echoed around the room and his soul. He spoke softly to the spirits and then slowly rose, the heavy looking metal of his armor made no noise as he rose. His golden eyes gazed around at the white marble and brilliantly colored windows.
Footsteps echoed through the altar room, Levis turned to see a priest standing before him. The priest's aged eyes were filled with acknowledgment and pain. "Levis," the man began, "You have come, do you seek to return to your rightful place amongst us?" Levis' eyes shown no emotion as he gazed at the priest, "my place is no longer with you master Proge, you are not my leader, nor do I belong in this temple." With that he swept away, the armor making no sound as he strode across the crimson carpet laid at his feet. The light poured in from the windows, the multicolored lights danced on his face and armor as he walked from the room. Reaching the main chapel he gazed up at the marble effigies of the three goddesses surrounding the Triforce. Din grant me further strength, Fayru give me the wisdom to continue on this path, and dear Faroe grant me the courage to continue on He glanced up at the to find a Poe standing within the chapel. The schythe in its hand glistened with the dancing light, but played in the darkness it was hidden in. A faint hint of expectation glittered in Levis' eyes. "For what reason and purpose does one such as you find amongst the Temple of Time?"

Hearing this human's order for information, Illumin was a bit taken aback, how dare this human ask such things of him, had he no right to be within the sacred temple? "I am here because I was told that I must be here. My purpose is still unknown even to me. Look into my eyes human, see how I am cursed with the light, cursed to be abandoned by my kin." Illumin's eyes began to glow, and then burst into long white flames, and his scythe, no longer filled with only darkness, flared into being, the blade burning with white and black fire. The book chained to him began to flap wildly, the power contained within wishing to be set loose upon it's master's enemies. "Are you questioning my right to be here mortal? For what reason would you have for this? True I am a poe, and not normally welcome among most mortal societies, but do we not all exist through Naryu's love and caring for all? If it is within the temple of time that I must go, then I will let the divine winds of magic guide me."
The poe hovered a little higher into the air, putting the giant scythe in his dominate hand, and opening the book of eldritch power. If you are here to halt the destiny that was given to me, the I will show you the true fury of the three! For while by they're will I am cursed, by there will I have become strong. Illumin turns towards the sage. "Yes I have indeed heard something of you, especially before my exile. What is it that the lying sage of possibilities wants with me? What must I do?" |

Ignis jast lay flat on a roof, Morpen's speech was but a muffled voice in his mind, though he quite enjoyed sitting in the tree looking up to the warm rays of the sun and observing the clouds, he couldn't help but disgust at the moblins, why now of all times did they gather? Aside from that, it looked like they had gathered for something big. The first thing Ignis noticed was that they had caught a dragon of some sort, being forcibly moved and ushered into some horrid cave. The moblins cheered and celebrated as the dragon slowly and angrily made it's way towards the entrance. He wouldn't mind for now, but if something were to happen, for example as to say, some sort of outburst of fighting, they wouldn't care who they found, they would kill them, a really barbaric bunch, a pile of rocks were more civilised.
