It is 3000 years before the the inevitable battle on Yavin 4. The galaxy is still coping after a horrible set of battles known as the Mandalorian Wars, which took place nearly 900 years before. The Mandalorians, as a cost to this, are slowly dying out. Very few remain, and most have managed to put aside their differences and place common ground on the planet of Tatooine. It is believed that they will soon become extinct. The group known as the Sith have been believed to be eradicated, as the last 3 great leaders- Darth Traya, Nihilus, and Sion- perished many years ago by the Exile, a jedi who managed to feel the pain of an entire planet, and coped with the devastating effects. The Republic is still fighting strong, turning into a great government in control of many planets. Relatively few problems have risen since the Jedi Council slowly started reparations, with its new home on Coruscant. Numbers have slowly risen, as more children with high medichlorian counts on the rise. It is believed to be one of the largest boosts in history. But as every scholar of the ways of the Force know, higher numbers can mean inevitable war, and with the silence of nearly a millenia of the Sith, one begins to ask whether or not they are truly gone forever. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// There are only a few rules for this thread. I'll list 'em now. 1. No God Moding 2. Not everyone is a Yoda, master of every little detail. We need Knights, as well as Padawans. Remember, this was about the time when the Sith began to have only one master and one apprentice. This is not established yet, but not everyone can be a Sith Lord. 3. Please limit rarities. One Wookie Jedi, Please. -.- We only have a limited amount of shavers. ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Name: Age: Sex: Race: Home Planet: Appearance: History: Light/Dark Side: Weapon: /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Other than that, enjoy! |

Dirus T'zow closed his eyes as the council passed judgement in light of the current situation. Lord Venaris was dead, found in his star cruiser just today. No one knew what had killed him, but most speculated foul play. Very serious foul play. Everyone in the room felt the way of the galaxy change, as if a small ripple had happened in the waters of peace, this one action spreading discord to the farthest reaches of space. "Amary was chosen to be his padawan because of her medichlorians. She needs far more training, even if she is months away from being an adult. Her skills must be molded, fashioned to befit her. She is more than a mere student, she is a prodigy." Dirus nodded quietly at that, opening his eyes and looking outside to see all of Coruscant. It was nearly night, the Big Sun setting down in the distance. He stared at it quietly for a moment, before his hearing caught the last bit of one of the councilor's speech. "... up to the task?" Dirus shook his head, looking back up. Everyone in the chambers was now staring at him. He gave a simple blink, apologizing to the council. "I'm sorry, my mind was in a far away place. I expect full chastisement for this. Could you repeat the question?" The councilor sighed, nodding his head. "I said that the council has decided to grant you custody of Zora, and that she become your padawan. Are you up for the task?" Dirus nearly lost his breath. This would be his first padawan, something that scared him to death. Standing, he nodded and gave a gentle bow. "I would be honored, Council." The council members nodded, slamming a gavel. "Meeting adjourned, then!" Dirus looked around as the crowd slowly left. About 20 yards from him, a young girl sat, turned away from him. He saw her stand and turn his way. Slowly, he began his walk towards her. |

Dirus bowed back to her, smiling softly. The girl was beautiful, and seemed so young yet so mature at the same time. Something not many her age seemed to have. He gave a small look at her from head to toe, judging her revealing attire to be just a staple of youth, nothing more. "As I assume you've heard, I shall take you under my wing. I will never fill the void that Lord Venaris left within you, but I want you to understand I will always be here for you." Holding out his hand, he tilted his head as he spoke his name. "Dirus T'zow is my name, if you have not been told of it beforehand. Do you wish to get something to eat? It's late, and we must be well fed if we are to recieve any assignments tomorrow." |

Amary gently shook his hand, returning his smile rather easily. His smile was rather attractive, after all, not making it hard for her to find the strength to mirror it in her own way. "To be honest, Dirus, I have lost my appetite this evening." she slowly let go of his hand, letting it fall gracefully to her side "But if you wish for me to, I will not make an argument."

The tall Sith approached a door, opening it gently and surveying his surroundings. Another hot, endless day on Tatooine, and the wind was picking up to boot. Having spent some time here, he was fairly certain a sand storm was on the way. It would be an interesting day, to say the least. He quietly pulled his hood over his head and stepped out of the small hut. There was nothing but sand for miles outward, just as he had wanted it. The longer he could go undetected, the better. It would not matter soon, because he would be leaving to train his pupil in a far less hospitable environment. Without looking back he spoke to the two figures behind him. "Today is our last day on this planet. Let's get in what training we can. Carashay, will you be joining us? |

Dirus nodded at that, deciding it was not the best of ideas to force her to eat something. Crossing his arms, he nodded to himself and nodded. Turning to the door, he quietly walked, saying a small "Come." over his shoulder. As she caught back up to him , he gave a small explanation to where they were heading. "There are beautiful gardens not far from the temple. We will travel there and speak; getting anything off of your chest." Reaching the transporter, the trip up to the top of a roof was kept mostly in silence. As they reached the gardens atop the building, the sun was finally disappearing, but gave enough light to make the garden burst into a hundred different colors. Finding a seat at a bench, he closed his eyes and bowed his head down, letting the girl speak first. |
