| All over the Caribbean sea there had been talks about a secret island inhabited by Mayas. The Mayas had died out leaving all their treasures behind. Treasures more than any human could dream about. Though no knew of this place, they looked for it in the hope of finding it first, and then take all the treasure for themselves. Pirates from all over the Caribbean started looking, but not only them. The East India Company was also very interested in this treasure and made officers go look for it and then retrieve it. The East India Company was a dangerous enemy to the pirates and their would be fights everytime they met, but as the hunt for this treasure pirates also fought eachother. In this roleplay, you can choose to be a pirate or a East Indian Company officer. You will be looking for the treasure and might run into other pirates and enemies. What will you do? Fight them or make them your allie. That's all up to you. As a pirate you could be a captain of a ship or just a crew. If you are a crew, tell me who your captain is and what rank you got. You can choose between two sides: Pirates and East India Company. Also there will be two know places with the story: Tortuga and Port Royal. | Captain Alana stood on the deck of her beloved ship Calypso's Serpent. The wind blew in her hair as she looked out on the never ending ocean with big blue eyes. Captain Alana was hunting for a treasure. Not an ordinary treasure, but something more. As the ship moved gently forward in the water she thought of how she felt when she first heard of this magnificent treasure. A treasure hidden on an island which nobody had ever reached. The treasure was left there as the natives who lived there had died. How they died, she didn't know. But she didn't care. All that was on her mind was the treasure, and how she would have it before any other pirate. Her monkey Taro jumped on her shoulder and sat there silent. "What do you think Taro? Do you think we will find this treasure," she asked the monkey who just looked at her confused. "I'll take that as a yes," she said to the confused look. Then the monkey ran away. She sighed. Before she would go look for this treasure she had to stop by Tortuga. Tortuga the island of rum. She didn't like Tortuga because of all the men. They were pigs. But she had to this time, because the ship were running out of supplies. She called for her second in command, Mariana. Mariana was a strong woman and dear to Alana. They had been trough allot together and she couldn't dare think what she would do without her. "Mariana!" she yelled. "Turn the ship into position for Tortuga. We have to make a stop and get supplies," she said kindly and then turned around and continued looking out on the endless water.

Mariana sat up in the crows nest. She enjoyed the sight very much, it was the one place she liked to be when by herself, or even bringing up the captain. It just was a great sight, she sat up there looking out at the ocean. "..Mariana.. thats a nice horizon isnt it?". She whirled on the man with the scope a scowl on her face, he must have just arrived when she was zoned out. "...Stop chittering like a drunken badger and get your sorry scurvey ridden carcass back to looking for ships!" with a jump he turned around and went back to work. Mariana! Turn the ship into position for Tortuga. We have to make a stop and get supplies Looking down she smiled, Alana was simply her only friend and the only and most important person in her life. They had been through a lot aswell, the various fights times when the ship went through troubles, when they got arrested and so on. Just like Alana, Mariana couldnt imagine what she would do with out her. "..Aye yai captain." she grabbed a rope hanging from the crows nest and and jumped off. With it she swung around wide going over the water and letting go to stop near the wheel. She took a few steps as she landed to slow down and went back to the wheel. Her parrot flew up then and stopped near her not actually landing on her bareshoulder, it instead landed on the wheel walking along it as it spun. "...I wont ask you to turn the course captain, but I cant say i'll be happy to be around those pigs again." she put a hand on the wheel, "..Scurvy Dogs! We head to tortuga!" they begun to scurry around all the more as she spun the wheel to change the direction. Though she was experienced at this and made sure to make it so the ship didnt lean too much. When it came to the topic of Tortuga she couldnt think of a place she hated more then that. She would even rather go back to her original home. She would go with Alana no matter where but none the less she hated that place. She didnt mind the drinking at the talking much, it was just all the blasted pigs there. All her past experiences in general had tainted her against the other gender completely.

Captain Saiir stood at the helm of his ship, the Harbringer. His crew was busy loading cannons, in case of one of the EITC ships somehow managed to catch them. The Harbringer was by far the fastest ship in Caribbean, and it's crew was full of vicious fighters ready to board enemy ships. The cannons on each side, as few as there were, would manage to at least damage any of the ships that got too close as they tried to escape. There was not a pirate ship in the world that could take out a fleet of 7 English ships, especially with a Man o War as their flagship. However, that wasn't a problem for the Harbringer and a select few other pirate ships that were faster and could escape across the vast sea. In situations like these, it was unnecessary for the captain to even bother giving orders to his crew. They had been around him long enough and had been in this kind of situation so many times that they instinctively knew what to do. Saiir simply held the helm in place, keeping his ship cutting forward through the water. Eventually their lead would grow so much that the EITC would give up, preferring to find a target that they could actually run down and destroy. Pirates just weren't welcome anywhere it seemed. Although his intentions and actions had nothing to do with anything that would cause harm to any of the English citizens in the Caribbean that the East India Trading Company seemed so determined to defend, they were being hunted down as if they had just murdered an entire village. Everyone hated the pirates, most of the pirates even hated each other..making it so that the only people a pirate could trust at all were the ones in his or her crew. Even then, it seemed like you could not fully trust your crewmates. Mutinies occured often enough to concern every pirate captain..even Saiir had to watch his back, and he had known this crew for years. They were loyal, but an unwary captain would never notice if that loyalty disappeared. An unexpecting captain would never survive a mutiny, and so Saiir kept a close eye on the crew at all times.

Drake sat in a dark corner of a Pub in Tortuga, his entire head shadowed by a hood that was attached to a cloak. Two longsword were stabbed into the ground on either side of him, both slightly odd looking... not ones that a normal pirate would use. The lantern above him would sway slightly, attacking the shadows around his face just enough so that his eyes would flash slightly in its wake. The tattoo's on either of his arms were faintly visible, not completely covered by his cloak. Drake had his feet propped up on a table, his chair leaning backward slightly, and a glass of whiskey in his hand. He swirled the liquid in his hand slowly, his eyes darting back and forth around him, as if he thought someone would come out of no where and attack him at any given time. He took a quick drink, balancing the glass on his knee as he rocked his head back, making the hood fall off of his head, revealing his shaggy brown hair which was tied back in a ponytail, and his lightly tanned face. No doubt, he did look quite out of place in this pub, though he didn't really care much... most everyone knew who he was, and it didn't bother him a bit. He was looking to find a captain he could work under... it didn't really bother him as to what he would be doing, though he preferred the role of a hit man, or bodyguard. Manual labor wasn't exactly his calling in life as he liked to put it. He would sit there until offered a job... if multiple people were to come, he would go with the highest bidder...

| Elissa walked slowly into the pub, she was going to have a drink and wait for the bartender to give her the crate of rum she was going to pay for. "3 Rums!" Elissa smiled as the other two joined her, she turned to the bartender and he told her a man in the dark corner was looking for work, Elissa looked around and spotted a man in the corner, swords in the ground with a ponytail. He looked like he did need work and she needed a guard... Elissa told the two, Jake and Keira, to wait at the bar. Elissa then gracefully got up and walked over to where this young man sat. "Aye, I heard you be looking for work?" She looked at him taking in his appearance carefully. She didn't want just anyone. She whispered in a hushed tone."How about being my bodyguard? I need one" Elissa laughed heartily.

| "Aye, I heard you be looking for work?" He looked up at her, blinking a couple of times before nodding. She looked at him. She whispered in a hushed tone."How about being my bodyguard? I need one" He sat there for a few seconds, not saying anything before he took a drink of his whiskey, setting it down on the table before standing up, he was pretty tall, roughly 6'6". He pulled his swords from the wooden floor rather violently, letting them fall into their respective sheaths, both making a light clicking noise. "Where do I sign up...?" His voice wasn't gruff like most other sailors, it sounded like he was straight from england... just without the accent. He pulled his hood over his head, again the shadows engulfing his face.

| Calypso's Serpent moved slowly into the port of Tortuga. Captain Alana already felt the scent of rum. She could need one right now. Tortuga was the place you either loved or hated, and unlucky for her she hated it. It was never easy for womans to be in Tortuga, all the men who wanted to buy her drinks and then get so drunk they started touching her. Some years ago a man tried to do that, and she answered with cutting of his hand and starting a big barfight. She had won though. As the boat stopped by the dock she yelled for her men to tie the ship up. She whistled for Taro who came running and then jumped onto her shoulder. She and Mariana would go get supplies, and did she know the people well here, they had to bargain for the cheapest price. "Mariana! Lets go the market, and take your weapons with you. We never know what is going happen her in this hell hole." Alana said with a harsh tone.

Mariana spent the while they were going to Tortuga makeing sure nothing went bad on the ship. Her eye scanned over the crew as they made thier way through the green waters. The man up at the crows nest shouted down, "...Ay Captain Tortuga ahoy!" Witht that call she begun to slow the large ship down with some orders shouted about. They slowed into the deep dock and tied up. "Mariana! Lets go the market, and take your weapons with you. We never know what is going happen her in this hell hole." Nodding she quickly rushed into her cabin. Looking about the various compartments of the room she saw her sword and her pistol up ontop a mantle and put them on. Since she didnt have a belt they were tied to the ring around her waist. Adjusting it all she headed backoutside it only took her like10 seconds to get all that ready. Mariana walked up to Alana with a nod, "..right by you my captain." While Alana just cut off hands, Mariana had alot of the times she arrived ended up killing someone or another. Which thankfully in tortuga wasnt noticed much or at all.
