Pokemon – Battle Island

OOC Thread

Introduction-
This will be a simple role play, where between 6 or 8 characters will be involved, first come first play will be the motto for this one. One main rule: No Power Playing! (Forcing other players to do something, rather than letting them decide for themselves)

Plot-
6 to 8 up and coming Pokemon trainers have been invited to Battle Island. Battle Island will be located in an unknown location near Kanto, just to give it some sort of location. All characters have won at least 5 badges, whether they’ve won them all in the same region or not is up to you, but please, the characters are Up and Coming, therefore they are good, but haven’t beaten any of the elite four or won practically all the badges in all the regions… just keep it simple.

Appearance: Pictures preferred
Town/City and Region: Which Town or City, and Region are your Characters from?
Badges: What badges does your character own? Either put the real name, or just the name of the city/town it came from.
History: A description of your characters journey, how they got their first Pokemon etc…

Pokemon Sheet-
You can have almost any of the Pokemon, Kanto, Jhoto, Hoenn and Sinnoh are all allowed, but NO LEGENDARIES! Remember Your Up and Coming!! So try to be fair.
1-4 Pokemon allowed, pictures preferred.

Do a Pokemon Sheet for EACH Pokemon you have please.

Level: 1 – 45, keep it random, don’t have all 40+ leveled up pokemon
How Long Owned: Was it your first Pokemon given by a professor? Or you cathed it after getting your second badge etc...
How Obtained: Did you catch it? Was it given to you?...
Attacks: What Attacks can your pokemon do? 1-4 Allowed.... state whether Water, Fire, grass, normal ect.
Apearence: Picture Preferred

Lance looked at the small, wooden boat before him, wondering how he deserved a seat on it.

"Sure, I've won six badges now, but am I really worthy of stepping onto this boat? Do I stand a chance of winning at Battle Island? I've tryed my hardest to get this far, so I'm not going to give up now... No matter what happens, I'm just gonna enjoy this trip." he thought to himself, as he held the Poke ball which contains his Wartortle in the palm of his hand.

"Good luck little buddy, We're gonna need it" he whispered.

Livy sighed as she let Umbreon out of his pokeball. The dark Pokemon stood at her feet loyally. They had been together for more than a year. The two stepped onto the boat that would take them to Battle Island. "We've trained for a long time for this Umbreon." Her voice was soft and smooth as she spoke to the Pokemon. Umbreon hopped up in her lap as she sat down. She pet the dark Pokemon softly as they waited for the boat to leave.

Chris Walked to the waters edge and the boat stood there. The trainer smiled, "I don't need a boat." He took out a pokeball and threw it, "Go Gyarados!" The water dragon roared into view before the pokeball returned to the trainer's hand. Gyarados bowed its long neck and Chris climbed on. They traveled across the water to the Battle grounds. The boy was smiling, anticipation playing his mind, "I wonder how interesting this will be..."

Lance sat quietly as he waited for the boat to move out of the docks. He was surprised at how many people were on the boat, he was told only a select few from around four regions were going to be sent to the Island.

But on the Boat were a few children with their families, friends talking and having fun together.

Lance Sighed. "Look at them, they all have someone to talk to, I don't... well actually..." Lance then brought out Wartortle from his Pokeball. "Wartortle!" The pokemon yelled as it flew out of it's Pokeball.

"You sit here buddy." Lance said as he pointed to the seat next to him. "I don't understand how there's so many people on this boat" Lance decided it would be a good idea to ask someone... he couldn't figure out why such a remote island would have so many people going to it. He stood up when an announcment was made by the Captain of the boat.

"Good Morning Ladies and Gentleman, we will be leaving shortly, the ticket collectors will be collecting your tickets now, so please get them out ready for them. We hope you enjoy your luxury cruise with us,"

"What!" Lance Shouted, as he got Wartortle back into his Pokeball. "I'm on the wrong Boat!" Lance ran off the boat just before the Boat's crew brought the entrance to the boat up.

"Where's the Boat!?" Lance shouted, as a mysterious looking man walked up to him from behind. "Excuse me young man, but are you Lance Leihut?" The man asked, as he watched Lance turn around with a shocked face.

"uh, yeah? How do you know that?" lance asked back. "Nevermind that, just hurry up and get to your boat, it's at the north end of the docks." "ok... thankyou sir."

Lance didn't have time for questions, he had no idea what time the Boat was due to for departure.

Battle Island - OOC

Vlad walked towards the docks with Lucario right beside him. He had recieved the invitation for the Battle Island a few days before and ever since all he could think about was how he wanted to test himself against the other trainers from the other regions. When he reached the boat he decided to let his Lucario stay out of the pokeball and boarded the boat silently finding a seat for the both of them.

Camp Half-Blood-Schmoogoog

Alex looked at her map, confused. She looked around until she spotted the sea. She but her hand on her belt, picking up a pokeball with a drawn fang on it.
"Come on buddy" she said releasing Fang from his pokeball. The mightyena shook and barked happily. Kyutto climbed onto the large dog and pointed. The pokemon nodded and bounded towards the docks. When she spotted the boat she slid off Fang. She then realised it would have been smarter if she had let it stop first as she slid down the hill. Fang looked comicaly at Alex. Alex looked grumpily at the dog. "Dont you dare laugh" she smiled. She returned fang before praying to anyone who ould listen that those on the boat hadn't seen her before she climbed aboard.

Lance Ran to what he had guessed was the North end of the Docks.

Surely enough, as he turned round a corner, a small, fishing like boat was infront of him, with a banner being hung up by two poles at the entrance saying; Battle Island. "Oh... that's how I'm getting there... looks, um, great."

Lance boarded the boat, greeting what he guessed to be the captain, who was looking the other way, gazing into the horizon of the sea. "Hello there, are you taking me to Battle Island?" he asked, thinking he knew the answer. "well, actually, I am." The man said, as he turned around to face Lance.

"What's your name?" The man asked. Lance quickly replied. "Lance, what about you?"

"The name's Kasper... but call me K.P." Lance nodded his head as he sat down on the boat. "We'll just gonna wait for anyone else, i was never told how many would be coming." Kasper said.

Battle Island - OOC

Sylas stopped at the foot of the docks, Zangoose at his side, He looked around for a big luxurious boat.

"It has to be that one surely" he said to himself

He bounded up the dock and suddenly he saw a sign

Battle Island- Departing North Dock

Sylas looked at his map to find out where north was, He looked to his right and saw a small boat with a few people aboard it.

"Huh!?!? What the. . . We are going on that!?. . . . Ok Then" He exclaimed before heading onto the boat.

"Name Please" A voice bellowed from behind.

"Sylas , Sylas Morgan" Sylas replied

"Ok, climb aboard" The man said

Zangoose ran and jumped on a seat near the edge of the boat

"Thanks buddy!. . . You Hungry?" Sylas asked

Chris followed the boat that was ferrying the other trainers. He got a few looks of awe as he rode atop his Gyarados's head. He grinned and waved before spurring the pokemon fast as the islands came into view. The moist air that was carried by the breeze felt good on his skin. He smiled as he neared the shore.

As they touched land, Chris jumped down, "Great job Gyarados, return." A red beam of light shot from the center of the pokeball before striking the massive water dragon. The pokemon's body turned red before it was sucked into the device. Putting the pokeball at his waist, the trainer looked around, "Now where to?"
