"Good morning River Valley."

Said the man on the radio. Kali had been up for about an hour. She was already dressed in a long purple skirt with a light purpl top and jacket. Her hair wa in a long braid. She headed downstairs to eat breakfast. "Good morning Mom" She sat down at the table, and at her bowl of cereal. When she was done she went to the door grabbing her bag off of the counter. "Thanks for helping me get my bag together Mom. Talk to ya later. Gotta go. Love you." She ran our the door, and headed to the park where her and her friends were going to meet. SHe was the first one there, and she sat under the tree reading and waithing on them.

Kali sat down under the large tree in the park, thinking she was the first one there. When suddenly Adrian jumped out from behind the tree. "Boo!" He shouted.

"Ha Ha" He chuckled. "You didn't really think you were the first one here did you?" he asked, as he started to jog on a spot. "I've been here for ten minutes, I couldn't sleep last night, I'm too excited!"

Adrian then began to jog around the large tree, showing his excitement.

Battle Island - OOC

Neo walked over to join the others. "hey guys! today is our big day" he balled a fist a held it in the air.
"what kind are you guys hoping for? god im tooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited..... not as bad as Adrian"

Kali looked up when Adrian jumped out from behind the tree. "I couldn't sleep either." She stood up as Neo came up. "Are you two ready to go to the Lab to get our Pokemon?" She headed down the road to the lab. "I hope that he has a Poochyena!" she said excitedly. When they reached the lab she knocked on the door. When it opened they went in, and to where the pokemon were waiting in their balls. "Good Morning Professor Blake. Do you have a Poochyena?" She was handed a pokeball, pokedex, and extra pokeballs. She then stood back and waited for her friends.

The three friends headed to Professor Blake's, where they were to gain their pokemon.

Kali was the first one to gain her pokemon, Neo and Adrian knew she was wishing for a Poochyena, and sure enough she got it. Adrian watched as she got the pokemon, pokedex and some pokeballs.

"Hey Prof, any chance you have a squirtle lurking around here?" Adrian asked, as Proffesor Blake walked to the side of the room, and picked up a pokeball. "here you are lad." Blake said, as he handed the ball over to Adrian. "Awesome!" Adrian shouted with delight.

"Oh, and don't forget these." Blake said, as he passed Adrian his Pokedex and 5 spare pokeballs. "Thanks a lot Prof, I won't forget this day when I become the best Gym leader in the world!" Adrian said, as he moved out of the way for Neo to get his Pokemon.

Battle Island - OOC

Neo approached the Prof. semi-nervous. he knew his wish wasnt that common, but he felt drawn to it. He smiled at his friends, so happy they got their partners. taking in a deep breath, he asked Professer Blake, "hey Professer Blake, i know its an unusual request, but do you have an Absol?"

Professer Blake was good friends with Neo's dad, who knew his wish for an Absol. Smiling, Prof. Blake tossed him a pokeball he already brought back when he went to the back room for Adrian's. Neo caught it, stunned he actually got his wish.

"Yes!" chuckling to himself, "Thanks, Blake. im guessing my dad told you about it..." Prof. Blake only smiled and handed Neo the rest of his new equipment. "Don't worry we'll make sure to keep up the good name of our town!" he walked back to his friends smiling broadly.

Kali smiled as her friends got their pokemon. She then turned. "Come on. Let's go out and greet our new friends!" She went out, and released her Poochyena. She knelt down. "Hi. Your cute. I think I'll call you Ciara." She picked up the Poochyena, and petted it.

"Come on. Let's go out and greet our new friends!" Kali said, as she went outside and released her Poochyena from it's Pokeball. "Hi. Your cute. I think I'll call you Ciara."

Adrian left with Kali, and watched as she petted her Poochyena. "Ok, Squirtle, Out you come little buddy!" The Squirtle launched out of the Pokeball, smacking it's head on a lampost.

"Oh No! Squirtle, You alright pal?" Adrian said, as rushed over to his new pokemon to give it some aid. "Squirtle!" The Pokemon yelled, as it got up and gave Adrian a big hug. "I think you and me are going to get on just fine!"

Battle Island - OOC

Neo threw his pokeball into the air "Absol!" as he called out the name the pokeball opened and there, on the lush grass, was his new friend. Absol came over gracfully and began to sniff him. once she was done, she licked him happily. he coat was a shimmering silver. "wow.... your amazing Absol. hmm..... i think you could use a better name..... Aurora" he said grinning

Kali sat watching as her friends greeted their new friends. She also when over to where squirtle was when he had hit the poll. She looked to Adrian. "Is he okay?" She smiled when she saw that he was fine. She watched neo as he met his absol.

She then stood. She looked up the road. "Are you guys ready to head out on our journey?"
