((Sorry, I forget now what I was waiting for. Guess I'll just start moving this along. XD))
As the troopers of Cyphor's group pass, Jesska's scaled bulk sepparates itself from another tunnel that led back up to the surface, and she stops the bothan Jedi with a clawed hand on his shoulder while the troopers continue on ahead. The trandoshan smells of char, her cracked armor is splattered with clone blood. Sections of her own scales are lifted or burned completely away, and a black ichor dribbles from between her teeth. But her eyes - both organic and artificial - still blazed, and her knicked scimitar is firmly clasped in her other claw. "Jedi." The alien says shortly as an explosion above sends dust rattling down from the ceiling, "Our lines crumble, and they come in force. This shall be the straw to break the bantha's back. Take what is left of your comrades and flee, while we sstill hold air superiority." A short shake of the head and and a rippling growl forestall argument, "You musst have realized, as I did, as the Kaminoans did, that this was a doomed endeavor. Do not give the Empire the ssatisfaction of another Jedi dead yet." |

Keq peeked over the top of the wrecked AT-TE. At the head of the opposing armies, he sighted him. Boba Fett. A "True" Mandalorian. Keq dropped back down to address the Privateers.
"/Alright boys. I'm going after Fett. Don't try to come with me. This is something I've gotta do by myself. So, in the words of the great Canderous Ordo.......'Cover me'./", Keq said, a small cheer rising up from behind the ruined walker. He climbed over the side and dropped down, as guns bristled from either side of the cover. Ignoring all distractions, he concentrated on Fett. There was no army. There was just Fett......and Keq. He moved like a predator charging at it's prey. One last leap brought them together. And three swift strikes took the bounty hunter by surprise.

Null-1 stared at the idiot running like a madman towards the Fett. God. What an idiot. And to think he had descended from the same race as him. There was no fraggin way in hell that fool was gonna best Fett in combat. Idiot.
And for some reason, he found his legs moving in the direction of the fight, screaming a mando battle-cry... |

(I even tried resorting to alcamahol last night to try and kick start my creativity - its worked before - sadly no luck but a solid 8 hours sleep seems to have done the trick. not brilliant but its something. Ignoring arm slap btw.)
“Cyphor, whats wrong?” Glancing sideways without slowing down any Cyphor made fleeting eye contact with his new student. He had been hoping Darok didn't follow him, the odds of what he was about to do were far from good. "A large number of imperials have breached the complex, at best I'm going to save alot of lives, at worst... die trying." . Stopping almost abruptly as Jesska placed her clawed hand on his shoulder, the Trandoshan looked like hell. He listened quietly as she spoke, after her earlier display of rage he had not expected such as this. "I thank you sargent, no doubt the scorekeeper will be honoured to receive you come the end. If I may ask before we part ways, Why is it you seem to hate the jedi so much?"

Darok knew that what Cyphor said, wasn’t an exaggeration or a joke, which left him even more at a loss for words. Cyphor was stopped suddenly by the large trandoshan that had attacked him earlier. "I thank you sergeant, no doubt the scorekeeper will be honored to receive you come the end. If I may ask before we part ways, Why is it you seem to hate the Jedi so much?" she spoke extremely calm, considering the impression she had left with him. Darok waited quietly, keeping just behind Cyphor, more out of caution than respect.

A toothy, savage grin. Bloodrage was alive and well in her, but on a tight leash as she came to deliver her message.
"I only desspise your unwillingness to use what the galaxy has given you. The Trandoshan have ssstrength, and we use it. The bothan have guile, and -they- use it. The Jedi? You have the power to move planets; to ssway the people with words and action. Yet you dwell on meditation and observation. I know my hisstory, Jedi. This is not the first war that could have been averted by earlier action. 'It is not my place' is not an acceptable excuse from one with the Force. Perhaps the Order was meant to fall for its innaction and apathy. Perhaps this all was to sserve as a reminder that the Jedi are of the people. Take my words how you will, I am but a ssimple mercenary." The trandoshan releases the Jedi from her grasp and gazes back as a commset she wears on her head yammers in quiet chaos. "Fett's men have engaged. It will not be long now. A final favor, Jedi. I would requesst that you take Talon with you." She draws herself up to a full height, gazing down at the shorter alien, "They are all that is left of my legacy; death on this piss-hole would be a waste, and I've no doubt you will have need of trusstworthy blasters wherever you may go." |

The bounty hunter had been ready for him this time. Twin streams of blaster bolts hit Keq square in the chest, sending him flying back down to the ground. He landed hard, groaning as he held his chest. It wasn't going to end like this. Several 501st troopers gathered around Keq, blaster rifles ready. Keq made a wide sweep with his axe, causing the troopers to duck for cover.
Keq ran blindly, slipping across the slick metal with a resounding thud. The rain was coming down, heavier and heavier. He couldn't see anything around him, only the endless downpour of Kamino. He struggled to his feet, as an explosion lit up the night maybe 20 feet away, accompanied by a resounding boom. The ground started to shift, as Keq realized this part of the platform was collapsing into the sea. He clicked his jetpack, momentarilly forgeting it was fried. It was too late, the fragment already broken off and plunging into the sea. Keq's last thought before he hit the water was of all the people he'd let down.
