And not a moment too soon later, Keq was fished out, by a hand sheathed in bone-white katarn armor. Shaking his head once again, Null-1, who was currently hanging off the remaining edge of the platform with one hand, hauled both himself and the man whose forearm he held over the edge. Turning his helmeted face towards Keq, Luxius gave a nod, before promptly getting up, heading towards the evacuation point.

Cyphor nodded, he had not always agreed with the way the Jedi order handled things himself and similar thoughts had arisen in his mind since its fall. He had been planing on trying to find some masters still alive and help rebuild the order to what it was, a second opinion echoing his own doubts however, he needed to re-evaluate his goals he decided. "I'll make sure talon get out of this fight alive, crack some heads for me Sargent." Tapping Darok on the shoulder Cyphor turned and sprinted down the corridor towards where Talon battled, grabbing a commlink from a fallen resistance trooper on the way.

On Talon squads comms Cyphors voice came through, firm , solid, commanding. "Talon Squad, This is Jedi knight Cyphor Fey'Lar. Withdraw from the fight, meet me of the south landing platform of the complex." Getting off the planet right now was the priority, and he doubted Talon would have shifted for less than an order. Switching frequency Cyphor dialled in the numbers Keq had given him. "Keq, We're getting out of here, South landing platform, make it as fast as you can." Despite his dislike of command, Cyphor realised that when the occasion called for it he slipped into the role rather fast. An audible sigh escaped his lips as he urged Darok along at his side.

There is a moment of silence as Cyphor 'squawks' the comm with his order.

<...Sir, say again?>

A new voice slashes over the comms; Jesska's. <Talon Squad, that is a lawful order and you will obey it.> the trandoshan barks, the sound of battle heavy over the comm without a sheilding helmet. <Jedi Cyphor is your Commander, you are to assist him on the missions of his choosing. It has been my honor to train you.>

Another period of silence before the sound of boots is audible, and around the corner into the platform staging area comes Talon. Their painted gray armor is dinged and singed, splattered with blood and smelling of plasma, but they move without injury and their DC-17s are still primed for combat.

<Sargeant, yes sargeant. ... Die with your teeth in their throats, ma'am.> It was as close to saying goodbye as the commandos would come, and their blue-tinted visors now swing to Cyphor, awaiting his command.

"Talon Squad, This is Jedi knight Cyphor Fey'Lar. Withdraw from the fight, meet me of the south landing platform of the complex."Darok followed Cyphor closely, it never occurred to him the Cyphor had a last name, to be honest he just seemed like a someone who would tell you his full name at his death bed just so you know what to write on his monument for his bravery. Darok felt comforted also to see Him take control and of the situation, no doubt his firmness and actions would save countless lives not only now but in the future.
Darok kept pace with Cyphor, but made sure not to cramp him. Cyphor already had his hand busy, and they would only get busier as the time progressed. He was going to have to become more independent, and fast; even though he was sure Cyphor wouldn’t rush him to become independent, he knew that it was necessary. When he first met Cyphor he had tried to offer him some stones that he had assumed had no value, but Cyphor had said he would need them later. Seeing Cyphor’s light saber, it sort of clicked as to what they might be for.
“Cyphor I’ll meet you at the South platform”Darok sped back towards in the direction that they had come from. Pulling off a high powered frag detonators form his thigh, he flew down the hall past the retreating soldier. He had watched Cyphor observing a map of the layout of the facility and his curiosity getting the best of him he had moved close to see what it was.
The map had revealed choke point where the imperials could be possible held up, and halted for a limited time. He reached the first choke point and set the first detonator. He moved quickly setting the rest, several Mandos still passing him by as he set the last charge.
Several white helmets appeared around the corner, Darok ran towards the exit pivoted, and pressed the button. A series of small explosions and rumbles echoed through the walls, finally ending with a soft crescendo of muffled screams.
Darok turned and began running back to where the designated meeting place was.

Default Awakening

Keq opened his eyes to see the unforgiving Kaminoan sky pouring it's everlasting rain down upon him. He slowly worked himself to his feet. In the distance, blaster bolts danced back and forth across a battlefield. He could make out the Mythosaur at the far end of the battlefield. He tapped the side of his helmet, activating his comm link.

"Privateers, we've held the line long enough, retreat to your ships, and wait for further instructions.", Keq said wearily. Tapping the comm link again, this time to the ship, he announced, "Fenra, I'm on my way. Don't take off without me unless I give the order." He slowly started making his way towards the amber lights of the Mythosaur's engines.

Cyphor turned from a couple of Kaminoan technicians as Talon squad approached, one of the technicians bowing slightly to the much shorter Cyphor before walking away. "Talon, I'll make this short. We're getting the hell off this planet, I'm sure you know as well as I do that the fight is a losing one. The kaminoans have requested we take some data with us and I've arranged to get us some extra air support on the way out."

Looking past Talon, Darok could be seen running towards them. Good, he would have hated to break his word so soon, even out of necessity. Turning back to the remaining technician Cyphor spoke quietly for a moment before punching up the commlink again. "Keq, Where are you? I Dont know if you got this earlier, South landing platform, as fast as you can."

(crappy but its broken my slump at least)

Having accomplished what he needed to he moved back to Cyphor's side, a satisfied look on his face.

"I bought us some time, but not much; we should probably get going"

Standing at what could be called at attention, he moved around shadwoing Cyphor and his movements as they prepared to leave.

(OOC very short, also this rp seems to be slowing down, where is the fire in thine hearts.)

The commando leapord-spotted in black - identified as podleader only because he spoke directly to the Jedi - nods at the information Cyphor gives them.

<Sir. We're ready to evac on your order, Commander.> Yes, Commander. Because he was a Jedi, and he was now Talon Squad's only chain of command. Poor Cyphor; it looks like the workings of the Force had brought him into this war, after all.

On a private comm that not even Generals could monitor, however, the squad is much more talkative. Outside of their helmets, where only silence met any around them, they fit the bill for the soulless robots that many took them to be. Only in the security of secrecy and brotherhood did Commandos ever trust to show true personality.

<Is anyone else getting deja vu?> Twitch turned his blue-lined helmet towards a distant flash as something big exploded.

<Evacuation at Dantooine? That was your fault.> Kal replied, bringing his Deece up to flick char from the metal frame.

<What?! How in Void was a factory's worth of spider droids -my- fault?!

<Because -you- were the super slicer who convinced us you could shut them down from the central computer. But no. You -activated- them. And Boomer with his two credits, watching Darok return. The demolitions commando tilts his helmet slightly. He hadnt forgotten it was Darok that'd sent him sprawling. A friendly fire incident, maybe, but that just proved that the Apprentice was a loose cannon to be carefuly watched.

<Three days, buddy. We ran for three days straight to get to dust-off. And every step of the keffing way, a batallion of keffing spider droids.>

<.....Oh...sod off.>

<Lay off him, you two. Or should I bring up the Killing Room tunnel collapse, Boomer? Kal, I still think a Geo somewhere carries half your eye as a trophy.>

A chorus of half-hearted groans and a few scattered chuckles as Talon Squad sees to preparations. They move to one side as one, to supply crates the Kaminoans float in on repulsor-skids. Weapons are re-loaded, packs are weighed down with every conceivable gadget and explosive. They werent going to be comming back, might as well make use of the re-supply now.

Keq pulled himself over a small pile of rubble. Before him was the Mythosaur. He heard Cyphor ask him where he was over the comlink. Slowly, Keq limped up behind him.
"Right behind you, mate.", he said, puncuated with a small cough.
"You boys,", Keq said, gesturing towards Talon Squad,"Get up to the armory. The turret controls are located there. Darok. Head up to the cockpit and fire up the forward guns.", Keq ordered in an authoritive voice as he slowly made his way up the loading ramp. Keq made his way up to the cockpit, easing himself into the co-pilots chair. Fenra glanced over to him for a moment.
"Why do I feel as if we've picked up another useless lifeform?", she asked her mentor with a small smile.

Cyphor nodded to Talon as Keq told them to take the turret controls for the Mythosaur and headed up the ramp himself. With others manning the weapons and flight controls there really wasn't a lot for Cyphor to do with the evacuation. there was something he could try however, though he had never practised it much. Kneeling in a clear patch of floor in the hold of the ship he opened up his mind to the force, sending out 'feelers' to everyone on board. most would not even know it was happening, Darok with his force sensitivity may feel it, then again maybe not as his training was limited so far.

With the 'feelers' now touching each of those on the ship Cyphor started channeling force energy up and down each feeler, the effect would be almost immediate, assuming it worked. An increase in coordination, reaction times and possibly perception. With some luck they might just get past the star destroyers that were sure to be in orbit.
