"Becuase Sell Swords have to be paid on the books. And whoever this leak is, I am quite sure is leaking to more than just the Bandits. I don't want the leak to cover his or her tracks if he/she finds out my plans to expose him/her." "As for where to start, I would suggest the town of Kiriv. Its about fifteen miles inland. Quite of bit of the goods from the convoys are run through there- we've shut down several fences, but I'm sure there are several more."

"What stake do I have in this then?" Silinrul was being quite sincere in his question to the consul. As far as he could tell they had nothing of great worth to him. Not doing this would only affect him in that his life would be less danger for it. Sense Motive 14+3=17

"If money itself doesn't interest you, then things that can be bought with it surely should. You would surely not mind stronger weapons?"

"What could I need better weapons for? I already have what I need for hunting and protecting myself, and as long as these bandits are just harassing some shipments of yours I do not see how I would need to get involved in some Confederate conflict," with that said Silinrul began to leave. These people had nothing for him and would only likely just send them on some fool's quest.

OOC: *Sighs* Oh fer crying out loud. Being in character is all well and good, but you have to actually be in the adventure to play at all. You are an adventurer, you should ALWAYS want better weapons. Stop being difficult or I will remove you from the rp. What would motivate your character?

Prefering to remain silent for now, Latlieya observed the situation as it evolved. Evolved in a direction she did not like at that. She leaned on her staff, looking from person to person as she awaited further instructions. Her mind was set, and she would let them solve their disputes among one another. Undecicive, materialistic, yet in a way quite not. These were strange creatures. (Sense motive: 16 + 4 = 20)

Being one of war, it was hard for Jerico not to think of ways to improve himself. This mindset gave him an idea as to what might give the dark one some motivation. He took a step towards the departing elf... "Dark Elf...you say you have all you want. How about security? At your strength, do you believe that you will be safe? Your people are none too popular. That's not your fault, personally, but not everybody is rational. Come with us on this mission, and you may yet learn something new. A new strength that you never knew you could obtain. We humans have an old saying: 'that which does not kill you, makes you stronger.' Stick with us and be smart about your actions, and nothing will kill you. You will get stronger." OOC: Sense Motive roll - 5 + 1 = 6 (lol wut) edit: OOC: Edited that other post so that I don't confuse gun and Omega. Let's face it, high elves and drow are rarely confused. |

The Consul nodded as Jerico spoke. "The old soldier speaks sound advice. Besides, are you incapable of handling some bandits? I may not hunt in the same manner as you, but I have known the thrill of chasing one's prey. And one must always move on to stronger and stronger prey if they wish to continue challenging themselves."

Illithos looked her over as she spoke, and something was wrong. She wasn't saying all she knew, and by what he could also tell, she wasn't going to give it to them. That meant that something was up, but what was it? He could only know in time. And since that was learned, he knew he had to wait for anything. He could only play along. " Ok then, but you better have those items ready. And let's stop wasting time our time here. Since Miss here doesn't want to say too much, we should stop wasting our time with questions. Let's go." He said, already starting to head towards the exit, hoping that they would all follow and get this going.
