She awoke, staring up at the bright lights through the glass, noticing the scientists hurrying around her. She felt the cold metal of the examination table under her back, and felt the dull pressure of the oxygen mask over her mouth. She tried to push herself up to look around more, but her left arm didn't work. Side effects. . . . She thought to herself. She used her right arm to move herself up a bit, and finally realized she was without clothes in that room, everyone was able to see her, but she didn't care, it was normal for her. She sighed through the mask and tapped the glass. One of the scientists immediately noticed, ran over and pushed a button and the glass case over the top of the table let out a puff of air and slowly flipped open on its side, the hing holding it to the table. She stood up and took off the oxygen mask, found her pile of clothes and began to put them on a the scientist started to speak at her. "You blacked out during the last test. The drug began to affect your nervous system, so we terminated the flow. You should be alright, do you have any problems?" She pulled on the glove on her right hand with her teeth, slipping it into place, Left arm is gone. She said as she turned to wards the door. "We'll try to find a way to get it back for you." he paused, and then spoke again, "There's nothing left for today, you can go back to your room." She walked along the white hallways, looking at the other experiments, nodding and smiling, taking a puff of the cigarette in her hand every few doorways. She arrived at her dorm, the same as all the others, it was a 3 room dwelling, a Living/Bed room, a kitchen of sorts, and a bathroom. Small but it was OK to her. She walked in and lye down on her couch, drifting into sleep. Last edited by BryceSchafer; 06-03-2008 at 09:36 AM. |

Eli patrolled slowly across the walkway on the roof of the TRU-LABS building, his built in HUD separating his vision into grid squares, which for the moment were all surrounded in grey, indicating a lack of any threat or movement. As he turned again towards the entrance road, several squares turned yellow when a truck started down it, arriving at the gate. "This is Lookout, requesting security clearance confirmation on inbound truck..." he said into his radio, moment's later getting a reply from the guards at the gate. "Confirmed, Lookout. Its a supply truck, clearance code alpha-niner-two-sierra-charlie." "Roger that," Eli said, the grid turning green to indicate the friendly troops. He sighed to himself slightly, thinking about how every day seemed the exact same; day after day he patrolled, sometimes the roof, sometimes inside, or standing guard at the gate or one of the main doors, and every day nothing happened. Not like I want a fight, I've been in plenty of those... he thought as he quickly scanned the sky, But something a little different would be nice... "Hey Wolfe, shift's over..." Turning, Eli recognized the man as of the guards and headed towards the tower where he could get back inside. "Wow, that time already?" he said sarcastically, giving the man a nod, "Well... have fun..." Stepping out of the elevator into the halls on the main floor, he made his way to the small dining room area, and sat down for a bite to eat. Last edited by Draco_James; 06-05-2008 at 08:52 PM. |

She wakes up, lyeing there on her couch to the intercom. . . "Experiment #001 report to the testing facilities please. Thank you." She gets up, scrathing her head as she walked out of her room, and down towards the place where she went almost every day. She arrived to the regular noises, fizzling chemicals in glasses of odd shpaes and sizes over small fires, large screens shouting out bits of useful information to the scientists, the casual chatter of the guards on the other side of the door, and last but not least, the incredible rattle of keys, putting information into the computer that would monitor how the drug affects her body. She smiles to one of the scientists as she walks in and sits down on the small couch on the far wall of the room. So what test are we doing today? She asks to one of the white-coated men running past her. "We think we've just hit a break through!" the now very excited scientist yelled towards her, "We're going to see if it works!" She shifts another break through. . . Great. She thinks to herself and looks around as she takes the box of cigarattes from her pocket and lights one, leaving the box next to her as she took a few puffs. |

He wakes again... in the D.N.A Laboratory... he feels different once more... he scans for any electrical draws in his system... He notices a new attachment on his back. He sits up, scratching his head, looking at the security detail once more... A security officer with a pistol, and multi-turret on the wall. He moves his hand left and right, sure enough one of the turrets follows it. The scientists watch him. The one called "Dr.Atronach" watches him intently, waiting to see what he does. James gestures to his back. "Oi, you bastard, what did you put on me this time? . "Oh, nothing, just an Electro-Magnet." The doctor replies with a laugh. "And if I try it?" He asks intently, partially excited about this add-on. "Well, you would probably stick to a wall, we aren't too sure yet, although you can use your hands to guide it." The doctor replies. James looks at the officer with the gun, and raises his hand to face him. He forces electricity through the E.M On his back, and the gun flies at the hand, but, simultaneously, the turret opens fire, sending a spark or two flying. The electricity short-circuits through his system, making him pass out on the table. He wakes up an hour or two later, Groaning, his optical unit scrambling what he sees. "You are one hell of a son of a bitch! You know that?" He asks, furious. The doctors voice chimes in over the intercom, more cheery than usual. "Well, my friend, maybe you should have thought about that. But yes, I have modified your Empathy Chip, now you shouldn't consciously be able to fire your magnet at your friends at D.N.A Again." "Of course, of course." He retorts, with faux enthusiasm. "Well, if you will follow our guard out, you will find your new room, fully furnished, with a metal object or two to home your skills on. As the doctor finishes that sentence, the security guard gestures him to follow. Just as a test, James raises his fist and attempts to trigger the blade-switch, in the direction of the security guard. He fails, as expected, and follows him out. He moves into his room to find a metal cube, and a can or two on the table. He raises his hand to the cans, and triggers the magnet, sending the cans flying at him. Thinking back to his T.R.U Science lessons, he attempts to magnetize the back wall of his cell. He then throws a can at it, testing how magnetic it is, the can flies at the wall, sticking to it. He laughs and sends the can back into his hand. "Perfect..." He lies on the bed, sighing, remembering his entrapment, and falls asleep. He wakes in the morning, and stands up. Promptly two soldiers move in, with what appear to be water-tanks on their backs. They laugh and aim their hoses at him, water jets out, pummeling him into the back wall, but washing him thoroughly. The internal heaters of the room fire up, drying the water, drying him and his clothing. Efficient... but annoying. He thinks, with much disappointment. He is shuffled off into the labs, But, to much confusion, is moved through them, into the center of the courtyards. The guards then run off, not looking back once... What... what is this? The scientists voice pops over the intercom again. Morning, James, I trust you enjoyed your shower? James doesn't reply, and instead looks forward at the door. "Well, i guess i should get straight to the point then. Please place your palms facing each other, and activate your electromagnets.... James sighs, and presses his palms together. He thinks back to his science lessons, attempting to predict what will happen. He fails to, and forces electricity through the implant. The result is painful, even his CPU cannot filter the pain his body is feeling... A bright light forms in his hands, and expands. To him, it feels like hours of intense pain, to everyone else it is seconds... Seconds of imperative disaster... The base is totaled, a bright explosion signifying its destruction, and a loud "CLAP" of thunder, spiraling from this one point, almost covering earth. Everything metallic in the base is drawn to his one form, crushing him, hiding him, passed out, under scrap. He doesn't wake, but forces of all kinds are drawn to it, even the cutlery from T.R.U Bases half a planet away all face the direction this happened... |

Its was raining,Good he liked the rain. It was raining in the amzaon rainforest what a surprise. The DNA's advantage over the TRU was that most of it's troopers were still partly human, he hated androids to the core. It was one thing to create an effective soldier and quite another to ensure that your soldiers have no independant thought, no opinions and so could not hope to coordinate a response to an unprogrammed unexpected change in condition. In the Hovercraft, DNA troops were being continually played a loop of propaganda and mission objectives on the mega-screen.He had to elimenate the only TRU base in the entirety of South America. His divisions objective was to neutralise a TRU Artillery base located on a plateau. This objective would be almost impossible for any other of the DNA's divisions as only his had been equipped with jetpacks able to fly over the strech of Amazonian rainforestwhere they would usually be exposed to TRU marksmen, thermal mines and other such dangers. At the moment the Hovercraft were approaching the shore when suddenly plasma shells from TRU artillery began to rain down on the DNA amphibious fleet.EMERGENCY EVACUATION. He chuckled this is a situation where an entire android legion would probably die as it didn't follow the originally thought up plan.Yet he and the majority of the elitist division were successfully able to activate their jetpacks and abandon the ships. |

The heap in the center of rubble, begins rising, and lowering... Mechanical Assisted Breathing initiated... A faint scream is heard... James lies under all this, with a spear of metal poking through his right arm, and left leg. He attempts to lift himself, but his arm is too weak to do anything. He sweeps over the surrounding area with his on board CPU. He realizes his electromagnets are still on... he releases the electric flow, weakening the strength at which the rubble is pressed onto him. Great.... just great! He thinks, with a great amount of malice. He looks at his left arm and smiles, As he triggers the "Blade-Change". A rotary unit spins the arm back into its socket, revealing a shiny blade. He slices at the spear of metal in his arm, shortening it, and rips it out. He looks into the arm, at the cybernetics... one or two wires were snapped, but thats o.k, he has lived with worse. He looks back to his leg, and attempts to cut that spear with his blade... however he fails this, and instead decides to rip his leg up. The spear snaps off, however the wound in his leg is made much larger. He groans in pain, and coils up his form under the rubble... he falls asleep... 7 Hours later: He wakes to the sound of rubble being stepped on... He grunts and spins onto his back, looking up through the cracks... he sees the odd foot pass over where he lies... he ponders whether or not to signal their attention... he decides against it, and waits. About half a second after he makes that decision, a torch is aimed down the hole, and much shouting is heard. "WE FOUND HIM! WE FOUND HIM!" He sighs and begins pushing the plate of rubble above him with his left arm... it lifts, but only slightly. The mechanical units in his arm feel a weight difference in the plate... the people on the other side are starting to push the plate off him. He lays back again, resting. The D.N.A.R.U (DNA Recovery Unit) looks over him, attempting to assess whether or not his "Empathy" chip is working. He chuckles and raises his left hand to one of them, and attempts to blade switch, to show them he is non-fatal. Unfortunately, the blade shreds out, decapitating the man... The other people in the recovery unit run away, fearing for their lives. James lets out a deep laugh, and looks around. His thoughts are interrupted by the sounds of gunfire, as bullets begin ripping into the clearing in which he stands. He looks around, and bolts for the only part of the forest in which there ISN'T Muzzle flash. He stops halfway in, and looks at his options... when soldiers burst out of the clearing at all angles, and the same Dr. Atronach, with a scar on his left cheek. "Come along now, surely you didn't think to escape all of us, now, for you, i am afraid its You come with me, or you die. Oh, is that all it is? James retorts. "Well, doctor, im afraid im unable to accept, you see, my "Empathy" chip was destroyed, and, uhh, at the moment, i could think of a way or two for me to... "Avoid" your gunfire." "Very well then, open fire." Just as the doctor finishes his sentence, he dives forward, placing his palm on the nearest soldiers Kevlar armor. He activates the electro-magnets, magnetizing the armor, and deactivates his magnets instantly, diving back. The soldiers look at him hesitantly, and open fire... The bullets literally form a wall in front of him, but only for a split second. They then fly into the chest of the man whose armor he magnetized. He laughs brutally, and runs off into the forest. "Later, dick head!" |

| All right, whats the difference thna the last batch of formula? She says as they strap her to the examination chair they usually used. "Well, the problem with the last one was that it made you black out, so we added a bit of another chemcal to balance it out, and we figure it should stop the black outs, and increase mental clarity by another 30%." She thought it over. . . So that would be 214% of my regular thinking process. "Roughly." Hmm. . . She tugged on her arms a bit, then wiggled her legs. Everythings tight. She said towards the scientists as the began to put the drug into her useing a syringe. "Allright, it should kick in fairly soon." About 30 econds later it started to kick in, the computers registering a slight change in heartbeat, an increase in brain activity, and a slight muscle spasm every 63 beats. Everything was going smoothly. Until a scream ripped through the entire pavilion. Mina was struggling against her bnds, her eyes wide. GET IT OUT! TAKE IT OUT OF ME! OH MY GOD! Then it stopped, all at once the pain was gone. She sat their in the chair, her breathing ragged as the scientists rushed around her, untieing her and moveing her onto the examination table again, inspecting her, trying to find what went wrong. |

Eli sighed as he finished his meal. It wasn't really all that bad, but he just wished he could get his hands on something a bit more varied than what they served here. Change of scenery would be good too... he thought, but knew that wasn't going to happen for a while, as the scientists were still running little experiments and checks on the artificial part of his brain, it being one of their newer inventions. 'Oh, this isn't like any of those... those are just interfacing technologies... this will actually be translating what you hear, see, and feel so that it can all be stored as memories... In fact, when its working fully you'll have far better memory than you could ever have hoped to have without it...' That's what he'd been told, word for word, when he'd asked what made this so special... mentioned that damn near all the soldiers had upgrades of some kind these days. "Eli Wolfe to test lab 2 please. Test lab 2, Eli Wolfe," a woman's voice buzzed over the intercom. Arriving at the lab, he gave a quick nod to the scientist that generally worked on his implant. "Been having any trouble?" she asked, motioning to the exam chair, above which hung a rather large, ominous looking device with a pointed crystal on the end, which lowered into place just above his head after he sat. "Nope... seems to be working perfectly..." he replied, watching her cross the room. The one thing, he'd decided, that kept him from despising these visits was that Doctor Samantha Cortez was far from being hard on the eyes. Then he heard a scream, muffled almost entirely by the building's thick walls, but it unmistakably had come from the same lab he'd heard noises from before. Wonder what the hell's going on in there... "Oh, and that little fix you gave me is working too... HUD reads things as neutral by default instead of hostile now," he added rather absently. "Glad to hear it..." came the reply, and the machine above Eli's head started to slowly whirr. "You know the drill... just relax, try not to move too much..." |

He stands in the forest, looking back, scanning the forestry... he detects no movement, but switches to thermal... still no movement. Satisfied, he begins hacking through the tree's again with his blade, wondering what is to happen with his life. Suddenly he steps out of the tree line, stumbling across a highly fortified... well, fortress... it bears the T.R.U Banners, and has guards matching at the walls. ((Could this be the base both A: Bryce and B: Draco are at?)) He approaches, and the guards raise their guns at him. Realizing his mistake, he raises his arms. The guards run over to him, muttering something into their radio's. When they reach him, instead of asking questions, they hit him with the butt of their weapons. Even though he may be a machine, this knocks him out. He is moved into the base, becoming a prisoner once more. |
