She sits on the table as the scientists run around her, punching buttons and such. She was fine now, and couldn't decide why they would still be working so fervently. Guys? Is there something wrong? They continued to work, not even listening to her.

So she got down off the table and grabbed one by the shoulder, What's the matter? The scientists grits his teeth and speaks, "There's supposed to be a field test of the drug in two hours. The formula is nowhere near ready." She looks intruiged, What am I going to be doing? He shrugs, "Raiding a DNA facility." She let the man go, and walked back to the table. I'm going to be. . . killing people? She thought, the idea makeing her head swim.

15 Fleets. 107 Regiments. More than adequate for an invasion force.

The Alien supreme command never was prepared for this kind of war. Previous intelligence on the human race has been severely outdated by their industrial blossom recently. The need for more powerful, and plentiful reinforcements were required, and the massive invasion force was sent to destroy the pathetic Earthlings.

"Your decisions astound me, Admiral." A four legged Alien paced up and down.
"Your honour, the ceasefire is merely temporary... We needed the Earthlings to continue their in-fighting!"
"Silence. Do you not remember, by Imperial decree, all who negotiate with the enemy will receive the punishment."
"Yes sir. I remember that, your honour."
"Good."

Crack.
Thump.

The lifeless Invasion Admiral crumpled onto the floor, a lifeless heap of flesh.

"Invasion coordinator Vartan. Executed for treason." The Alien sighed in front of those who had attended the hearing. "All of you, back to your ships. These humans will fall to our mighty prowess." The Grand Admiral walked calmy off the non-terrestial stage, his silhouette slipping out of the cold blue lights.

These animals... Cybernetics already? Interesting indeed.

"Bring the invasion forces above the major logistics centers of this planet." Vekk'tar sharply commanded, as he marched into the command deck. "Fire an Electro-magnetic pulse. I don't want to see any machines operating on that water filled wasteland." The fleet's ships hovered into orbit of Earth, as the soldiers on board hurriedly readied for a full-scale invasion. Walkers, Armoured weaponry, infantry... The lifeforms of Earth would be unpleasantly surprised by the oncoming onslaught. As the soldiers readied, so did the ships: Each of them firing a powerful EMP at the major cities of Earth.

And so... It begins.

(( Whoa there. First off, EMPs aren't a destructive weapon. They disrupt communications, and disable electronics. If it reflected, it wouldn't 'decimate' an entire ship, which was in ORBIT. You were technically power-playing, there -- You basically said you just killed my character, by destroying my mothership [Or capital ship]. I think that's pushing things waaay too far >_>. Gravely sorry about the full OOC post. ))

OOc: it does seem a bit unfair to knock an alien captialship out of orbit...

BIC: He looked around and smoke rose from the TRU military base, the heavy artillery had been destroyed by his 'brothers' and his 'sisters' were mopping up the last TRU soldiers who had been trapped within the compound shooting their old blast rifles futively up at the sky trying to hit some of the jetpacked troopers.

He looked to his left and saw an ideal opportunity to help his sisters purge the base of their last few flak plasma cannons, the only guns that the TRU base had that still had the range to hit the jetpackked troopers, one small laser beam fired at the fuel depot set off a chain reaction of explosions that destroyed the left wall of the plasma cartridge container hangar for the plasma cannons which immeadiately imploded dragging all the cannons with it.


The TRU had been purged from South America, now the legions objectives where to comanddeer the base and use it as a temporary HQ against alien bases in the South American peninsular.

(( How the hell do you repel an Electromagnetic pulse, anyway? >_> ))

"Grand Admiral, EMPs are a confirmed strike. Strike forces are landing in major logistics centers."
"Good." Vekk'tar looked up at a luminous screen. "Strike Commander, I want all forces to sweep the urban environments. Flush them all out."
"Yes sir."
"All ships of the fleet on standby. We want to be ready to orbitally bombard this wasteland if need be."

The Alien Admiral walked out (Alongside his Supervisor), of the command quarters, closely followed by a band of elite Soldiers.

"Invasion supervisor Derr'leck. I want our soldiers to capture a prisoner. One of their cyborgs. I want to find out what these fleshbags have been creating."
"Are we sending the Left?"
"Yes. Send them immediately to raid the Human laboratories in sector Alpha 357."
"Right away." The supervisor turned immediately, and re-entered the command quarters.

(( Yeah, the Left shall be raiding the TRU lab that Bryce is at. ))

The legion had been cut off from the rest of the world since the EMP blasts disabled their communications systems.The legion decided to stay in the captured TRU base and try and reestablished these communication links but to no avail.

It was decided that small groups of 50 troopers would be sent out to try and find the nearest DNA command centre and enquire what the orders would be.He had been chosen to make up part of the second squadron, one that would be sent in an easterly direction towards Africa.

OOC: where is everyone else supposed to be, ill change my course to suit the needs.

Eli sat still as the large machine over his head whirred and buzzed when his HUD suddenly came up with a text warning of there being an intruder on the premises, but it quickly changed to inform him that whoever it was had been incapacitated for the moment. Only moments later, the HUD flickered, then vanished completely from his sight.

"Uh, Doc..." he said, blinking a few times, "I've lost my heads up..."

"I'm picking up some minor hints of an EMP blast... give me one second, I'll try to get it back online..." the doctor replied, tapping away at a keyboard somewhere off to the left of him.

Several moments later, his vision flashed completely white for a split, accompanied by a quick jolt of pain in his eye, "Ow, shit... Oh, there, its starting up again..."

"Sorry about the jolt... had to reboot the implant completely..."

((The building Bryce's and my characters are in, and is about to be raided by the aliens is somewhere in California, I believe. Also, just wondering if the base was directly hit by an EMP, or if it would be outside of major city centers? I figured that it would be out of the way somewhat, being a secret-ish seeming lab, hence only minor EMP problems, but I can change it if need be.))

(( Yeah, it'd be only a minor shock. It's aimed at major cities -- So the EMP would be very weak. Maybe a few aftershocks, or a side effect. ))

The Left. An elite shock infantry division, recruited directly by Vekk'tar himself. They perform all the dirty, and inhumane deeds of the Empire, and are infamous for employing radioactive-based weaponry, as well as Corrosive materials.

The pods landed, as the Alien soldiers got out quickly, clutching their Particle Beam weaponry, splitting into multiple squads, and spreading out. The primary squad, Tau, headed straight for the blast doors of the laboratory.

Hisssss

The Aliens looked at one another, as the blast door slowly corroded away. Quickly moving, the Extra-terrestrials scampered along the walls, into the shadows, planting several radioactive emitters in the ventilation systems. An explosive Anti-Personal charge was placed, hidden on the entrances.
"Traps are ready. Tau-1 Alpha has finished primary objective."
"Roger. Gamma-2 Echo is corroding electrical supplies."

The alien voices crackled into the squad leader's ears just as the facility's lights went out.

"I think you got them."
"These primitives already neatly bunched them together for us."
"Whatever. Squads on stand-by, move for an offensive!"

"I presume the Left have landed in their designated attack coordinate?"
"Yes. They've just finished their preparations, and are moving in for the offensive."
"Good. The strike forces?"
"Several human Logistic Centers showed little resistance, Gamma-24 and Theta-59 specifically. By their human names, Munich, and Taipei."
"Heh. Shows how pathetic these primates are."

'Intruder alert. Hostile forces detected: Extra-Terrestrial'

The words flashed in Eli's vision, and moments later the lights went out. "Shit... aliens... Stay here and try to stay hidden, I've gotta find a weapon," he said, bolting over to the door and taking the pistol out of the holster at his ankle. "This is not what I meant when I said I wanted a change..." he muttered, then flicked his radio on.

"This is Wolfe to base security, c'mon, I need a sitrep..."

For a moment, nothing but a slight crackle, then a voice, "Dammit... bastards got us good... they're inside already, power's gone, backup generators don't seem to have kicked in... they must've destroyed the power lines..."

"Shit. I'm in the labs, I'll see what I can do about getting some of these people out in one piece..."

He forced the door open, checking in the hall and bringing up a schematic of the base, quickly finding the nearest security alcove, where he could find the gear he needed. He quickly made his way towards it, his HUD outlining every object it could pick up in the very, very dimly lit halls; the only providing any light being the occasional battery ran emergency light. He was thankful the alcove was close.

When he got there, he moved his head forward so the retinal scanner could catch his eye, and he gave his voice identification, though he hoped the system would recognize it when he was whispering. "Wolfe, ID number 93502." It worked, and a panel slid to the side, revealing a few plasma rifles, as well as various other equipment.

He slung a rifle over each shoulder and put on a pair of nightvision and thermal scan goggles, which offered a combination of both systems at the same time. Damn, and the doc was supposed to upgrade my implant for night and thermal next week... he thought as he returned to the lab, where he found Dr. Cortez hiding behind a lab table.

"Alright, things don't look great, but we need to start to move... I don't know whats in that lab next door, but you're going to have to get us in there..."

"That's one of them."
"Think the Boss will be pleased?"
"Affirmative."

The two aliens silently spoke to each other, as they followed the Cyborg soldier, like tigers stalking their prey. The leader looked at the other subordinates, as he took out a small grenade.

"Respirators."

The six Aliens each pressed a button on their visors, as a mask automatically pulled up. The squad leader pulled the pin out of the grenade, as it started spewing a green smoke.

It was thrown.
