When Aeron heard the alarm sound, she shot up out of her bunk. The emergency lights in her cabin had tuned on, so there was just enough light to see the door by. Aeron opened the door and jogged to the control room. Along the way, she tied her braids into two loose ponytails. When she entered the room, Aeron saw the other redhead, Lupine just arriving as well. There was Grid sitting and typing at a wicked fast speed, Seiji over her shoulder, and Jet plugged in. Aeron just stared at the code flying across the screens, trying to make some of it out. Once it started giving her a headache, she stopped trying and was silent for a while. Then, she asked Lupine in a whisper, "Why did Grid call us down? What's going on?"

Grid was focused enough on her work that she didn't noticed when Jeiji walked up behind her, and she jumped a little when he spoke. "No, he'll need some help," she said, glanced back only briefly, then went back to typing some more commands, preparing to insert more of the crew. By the time she turned around, Lupine and Aeron had joined the group gathered behind her. "There's some strange Agent activity. Jet'll need some help in checking it out. I'm just loading him up some weapons now," she explained, and swivelled her chair around to get up and headed over to the circle of leather chairs, turning another three on, "I'm assuming you three will want to jack in." It was more of a statement than anything, and she didn't mean it as an order. Instead, she was just trying to convey the situation as quickly as possible so that she could get them in, and then back out as soon as possible. Her hand flew up to the headset briefly, and it automatically dialed one of the phones that would have by now loaded into the construct with Jet. |

"Yeah, I'll jack in," Aeron said, responding to Grid's statement. She sat down in a chair, narrowing her her eyes as she went online and entered the Matrix. There was a slight drizzle that covered her hair with a silver mist. Aeron caught sight of Jet a couple blocks ahead and ran to catch up with him. "Where are they? The Agents, I mean."

Seiji nods as he looks over at Jet, then to Aeron, and to Lepine. Soon to Grid, "I'm driving," he said with a half cocked smile as it disappears just as fast as it appears. Soon he just leans back in the cold padded chair. He closes his eyes and waits as he wondered who would speak against the idea.

When Grid came behind him and plugged him in, Jet always had that nauseating feeling just before his mind was uploaded into the Matrix mainframe. He cringed a little at the feeling, but that was all. Jet remembered the first time he was jacked into a construct, he thought his brain was going to be impaled by the device and had almost puked all over his already ratty shirt. Jet smirked a little at the memory and then felt the reality around him explode from view. he was now wearing a very high quality deep green suit and he was surrounded by darkness. Below him he saw a small dot of light. Within seconds though, that light expanded into A dingy apartment room. the whole place reeked of rotting due to negelct of the inhabitants. Jet sensed that there was something inside his jacket and he reached inside it, finding that there was a good sized handgun holster with cargo. He reached for the handle of his weapon and retrieved it from the holster. It was a 9mm Berreta semi-automatic handgun just as he had requested. Jet holstered the weapon and then pulled a slick black cell phone from his pocket. "Operator, I'm in."

As each of the crew members took their seats, Grid inserted the jack into their skulls, something that she had finally gotten used to after doing it for about the hundredth time. She nodded to Seiji just before the jack slid home and clicked into place, then went back over to the computer to hit the execute button, loading him and Aeron into the Matrix, each with their own weapons and cell phones. "Operator, I'm in." "Good. Aeron and Seiji should be there... now. And Lupine won't be far behind. With the Agents already active, I'm going to be constantly keeping up to date on the nearest hardline, so the second you need an exit, tell me," she replied, then took a deep breath. This was the sort of situation that she hated the most; in a large way, the crews' lives were in her hands, and thought of letting them down terrified her. Then don't let them down. she told herself, and focused again. |

Seiji flinched as his body shook before his mind entered into Matrix. As he stood there looking over at Aeron as he was dressed in a nice black business with a black trench coat. He pushes up his black framed white tinted sunglasses as his hair was slicked back perfectly as he looked down picking up a brief case that held a broken down rifle. Something he liked as the white blank slate of a world was starting to fill in. Now as to where they would be placed was beyond him. Just as he thought that thought. He was in the room with Jet in a sickly green tinted room. He looks around as he moved a bit look out the window as it was a good habit. Just to make sure they weren't already noticed by the Agents as they were in force. |

Agent Haven was, currently, feeding the pidgeons. Sitting on a bench, with an old lady, he had a bag of seeds in hand, and was tossing them into the grass for the birds to eat. He was also watching the crowds, simply scanning the occasional oddball that he found to be intriguing. Scanning that fat man with the bucket of chicken in his arm; scanning the woman who was wearing men's shoes, speaking with houses and buildings; even scanning the child, with a half eaten popsicle in hand, his face covered in the chocolate goop. Each of them was different, an race of anomalies. "Humanity, the only race where individuality is law." Agent Haven muttered, and tossed another handful to the birds. Another of those instant downloads began, of which Agent Haven simply raised his hand to the headset, confirming the download. Every fifteen minutes, he downloaded information about the Matrix itself, information from the source, and from all "Bluepill" users still hacked into the Matrix; bluepill as in they haven't been freed from the constructs yet. As the download completed, he noticed an anomoly in a southern sector, down in the residental regions. A simple data change, otherwise nothing of notice. Something that would create another deja vu to an individual who was watching the process. "Interesting." Agent Haven stated, and scattered his last handful of seeds. Lupine slowly adjusted to the Matrix. Everyone was already there. Seiji was checking the windows, as usual, his briefcase in hand; it had become habit, an instinct, and it had saved them on more than one occasion. She felt the cold bulge of the Socom pistol under her vest and took it out. At times it probably seemed silly to arm yourself with a silenced weapon, since the Agents didn't need to hear it to know you were there. But it still gave an edge of stealth over everyone else in the Matrix that wasn't 'awake'. Lupine looked around the room at the crew and nervously tapped on her sunglasses, a red framed pair of reflective lenses seemed to wrap around her head like an insect. It was dangerous to stay put too long, especially with all them jacking in at the same time. "Everyone ready?" Last edited by ShamanX; 07-06-2009 at 11:45 AM. |
