When it begins, you will hear the sound of children screaming-as though from a great distance. A smoking orb of nothing will grow above your bed, and from it will emerge a thousand starving crows. As I am administrator of this role play, I will act as a kind of narrator! Any time words are in italics, it is the narrator speaking.
---Prologue--- Deep within the borders of Makarta, a small village lies untouched by the outside wars. Master Zanor is head of the village school, and it is his duty to train warriors to battle. Our story opens in this school, where an unlikely band of heroes is about to be born. The students gather around their master, as he instructs them about the history of Algeron and the events of the Great War up to this date. "Students. Today you shall learn about the Great Spirits. The Spirits origin is unknown but they have made their name by saving human kind. A long time ago, war broke out over the land. The war lasted for a thousand years until a brave warrior known as Mazer summoned three great beings to aid the side of light. The three creatures were The Phoenix of Sky, The Raven of Moon, and The Falcon of Sun. Their combined force ended the war and brought peace to this world. Class dismissed for lunch!"

"Lunch now you're talking my language!" Ariana exclaimed with joy. Anything to do with food could catch Ariana's interest in a heartbeat. Everything the master had just said flew out of her mind as she thought about the lunch she had packed that morning. Well half of the lunch she packed that morning the other half was eaten on her walk to school. Ariana ate like a horse but was thin like a twig from all the training. She almost burned calories faster then she consumed them. Her thoughts continued to wander as she walked over to where the others where eating.
Ariana sat down next to her classmates and said "Hey guys what ya eating?"

Arabus looked over at her. "I'm having bread and ham. I noticed that you zoned out again during class. You should try harder to focus. You never know when this stuff could come in handy." Arabus bit into his lunch and looked over at the others. "Did you guys here how Lord Dran slayed a dragon with his bare hands. That is amazing!" He hesitated and waited for the response he knew would never come. "Am I the only one who cares about this stuff"?

"Oh chill out Arabus, you know I love the old tales" Ariana hesitated "But I don't see how they would be useful unless we were on a mission to put a 6 year old to bed." Araina smiled at the witty remark she made. Then dug through her lunch sack and pulled out an apple. She took a big bite out of it and then proceded to talk with her mouth full.
"Beside there isn't a person alive that hasn't heard the story of the Great Spirits a hundred times." Ariana swallowed the bite of apple in her mouth " I know all the stories by heart how can I learn something I already know?" Ariana gave Arabus a serious look to let him know that she heard anything that was important in class. "You worry to much here consider this a peace offering and a promise that I'll pay attention." Ariana gave Arabus a big smile and offered him a bite of her already chewed on apple before zoning out again.

"If you've been listening then I'm sure you know all about the caves only ten miles from the village right? It is said that they were where the warrior awoke the spirits. No one has been able to make it through there again, but some day, I'm gonna start a guild and WE will make it through and awaken the spirits!" he added a big smile and continued. "Once summoned, they will not only end the war, but bring my father back from the Spirit World!" At this his smile broke and he looked away from the stares of his classmates.

Ariana looked at Arabus talking about his dad always made him upset. She scooted abit closer Arabus and nudged him with her shoulder.
"It's not your fault you know certain things can't be helped." Ariana said in a somber voice "But don't worry you have us and if we beat the monters in that cave I will personally try to eat them." Araina chuckled as she said the next part to her speech "I will not give up til I have either beaten or eaten every monster in that cave and helped you bring your father home!" Ariana looked over to the others so they would join in on her attempt to reassure Arabus.
