"Aw, don't worry bout it, we can't all grow up." Vance smiled as he watched Carmen's face turn red.
Carmen then stood up.
"I'll be at the castle" He said before storming out.
This was more then Vance could handle, he burst out laughing as Carmen slamed the door.

"Theme parks are so much more fun when the suns outside."

Harper joined in the laughing, sighing when Carmen left. "Thank-you Vance! I wonder why that never works when I say that?"

"Not sure." Vance said through the laughter. "Maybe it was because you didn't say it that it worked, you know, like it's more of a game when you say it, but when someone says it, he takes it more personally. But I don't know." He said after recovering from the laughter.

Harper blushed, "rhetorical question." She murmured, standing up.
"Well, this has been absoloutely lovely, but I must return to my castle." She said as she turned to go.

"I'm famous for answer rhetorical questions" Vance smiled
"I hope to see you later." Vance said as Harper started leaving the room.

Harper turned back and waved, but left without a sound. She walked back to her castle slowly and when she entered she was welcomed by an angry father.
"Harper! Where were you last night? Carmen had to sleep in bed alone and you know how forbidden that is!"
"Father, father, I was at the earth camp... It truly is a nice place."
"Get up to your chambers now!"

Vance finished up his meal and then started looking around the colony.
I guess I really haven't taken time to look at this place.
He walked around taking note of where everything was.
Food court, sleeping quarters, vending machine, game room, ah yes, bathroom. He then walked to his bed and pulled out a note book and started writing down everything that had happened to him the past day.

Harper looked around her chambers, expecting to find Carmen there. She layed down on her bed and awaited for what was to happen next, and it probably wouldn't be fun.
Like the time I had with Vance she thought

"Vance, you ok?"
He jumped when he heard the sound of someones voice.
He looked up to see a boy about his age.
"You scared me Jay." Vance said as he set down his book.
"Yeah, I'm fine, I was just writing, why?" He asked

"Well, you've been writing for some time, and I just wanted to make sure everything was ok. What were you writing about?" Jay asked

"Oh, nothing really, just what happened last night." Vance said, trying to srug it off.

"You mean with the moon girl? What about her? Do you like her?" Jay asked

"yeah, the moon girl, her name is Harper. Do I like her? I just met her, things like that take some time to develop, I'm not just going to give myself to the first girl I meet just because she is pretty." Vance smiled.

"Whatever," Jay said. "Anyways, it's getting close to lunch." He said as he walked out the door.

Vance sighed, he was glad to see the other boy leave.
Have I really been in here that long writing? He wondered to himself as he looked down at his book
Dang, I filled up twenty pages. He thought as he flipped through the pages.
Oh well, I better get to the chow hall, don't want to miss lunch. He left his book on his bed.

He arrived at the chow hall after everyone had sat down. Again, the table in the corner was empty. Vance grabbed some food and sat at that table again.
He tried to eat, but his mind keep wondering back to Harper.
I wonder if she is OK, I wonder why she chose to talk to me. His mind continued his wondering.
Gah, how could someone I just met have this much control over my thoughts, how come she is all I can think about?

Harper laughed a little bit when she thought about Vance.
Don't worry about it, I'll be there in a little bit. Carmen just needs to vent his anger for a while and I'll be pretty much free. She thought to him, a smile on her face. Suddenly the doors swung open and there was Carmen.

"Princess! What exactly were you doing last night with the earth boy? Tell me every detail from beginning to end. I want to know everything and if you do not tell me I WILL find out, my dear." He was about three inches from Harper's face and he was furious
