Yami blinked in confusion. True, she had no idea what the boy was, but that didn't mean his safety didn't matter or that he was stupid. Yami sighed softly and then placed a hand on his head. She then placed a soft smile on her face. "I care because I can't just simply stand by and watch people cry. It saddens me to no end. And of course your safety matters. You've obviously been through quite a lot and it troubles me seeing you like this." She then moved her hand to one of his ears and softly rubbed it. Her smile grew feeling the softness of it. "If your race is in fact extinct, then your safety matters even more."

Akira huffed and said, "If my race is so important, then why would you elves want to kill us all?" He closed his eyes and remembered the flames, the hatred, the bloodshed. All those scared faces burning alive. And there was one face he would never forget. That jet black hair, and those green eyes filled with hate, and that white scar running down his face.
(WARNING it may get a little more violent than some people may want to read in the following section.) He remembered that horrid elf standing in front of him, Kazumi's severed head at the base of his feet, a puddle of blood forming. And that glare he gave him. Oh, he would never forget that glare for anything. That glare of pure hatred and meaningless blood lust. And how the flames danced around him, almost like his fear controlled even the elements of the world. (Violent section over) He shuddered recalling that terrible past, closing his eyes, and muttering, "Why would you all want to kill us?..."

Yami's eyes widened and she moved her hand from his head. "What...what are you talking about?" She asked him in a surprised and shocked tone. She had never heard of anything about this before. She closed her eyes and shook her head. Then she opened them and stared at him curiously. "Kill you? Why would we want to kill you?" She asked him softly. She would never bring herself to kill anyone. Ever in her life. She was always told she had gotten that from her mother. Yami, thinking of her mother, took on a saddened look. She turned her attention to the ground and then closed her eyes again.

"Why would you want to kill me?" he began, a more angry tone coming, "Why don't you tell me that?!" He looked up at her face angrily, but then, then fear came over him. Black hair, green eyes, the same features of the man that killed Kazumi. "Y-you..." he began again, "You... you look just like him... just like the man who killed Kazumi..." Tears began coming down his eyes rapidly, causing him to look at the ground in despair, "Kazumi... Kazumi... Kazumi... why... why did she, of all people, have to die? Why, why, why?!" He punched the ground in anger, only causing more tears to come out.

Yami continued staring at the ground, sadness taking over. Her black bangs fell over her face and she opened her eyes slightly. She then looked up at him and flinched when he yelled at her. She still had no idea what he was talking about. The only man that was said to look exactly like her was her father. But he had vanished when she was born. She had been raised by her mother her whole life. She didn't know what to do. She felt as if it was her fault the boy was crying.

"I can't take this anymore!" he yelled, quickly grabbing a sharp rock. He placed the cool surface to the bare skin of his wrist, aiming for that vein that, in just one swipe, would kill him. He pressed the side of his wrist and blood came out, signifying the rock's sharpness. "I'm coming, Kazumi!" he yelled, about to slit his wrists.

[[[Chester to the rescue]]]
Chester had waited patiently enough for the elven woman to help the boy so they could continue to play. So he sat down munching on a grain of rice, this continued until he heard yelling. "What's with all the nutjobs in town lately", he muttered to himself as he curiously flew over to see the commotion. And just in time he was, to see the helpless elf watch in horror as the boy grabbed a rock to kill himself. He rolled his eyes and zipped downward to stop the boy. Heroism wasn't Chester's thing, infact his motives were selfish, he was simply doing this because either the elf girl would be impressed, or someone would award him for his heroism. As the boy began to lower the rock Chester hastily pulled out his fiddle and began playing fiercely, the music was powerful and the rock burst into many small pieces. He turned to the elf girl. "Jeez, you must have been one helluva an ass to draw this kind of reaction from the poor boy", he joked and the turned around arms crossed. "Buddy, if your gonna kill yourself, a sharp rock can be brittle and most likely will break, try a knife", he chuckled rudely. Lets face it Chester was never the social type, he was an annoying fairy with a bad sense of humour.

Kaori blinked in surprise at the green haired white ribbon wearing, curtsying girl before her. She cocked an eyebrow accessing the girl before coming to the conclusion that she, indeed, could take this girl in a fight. Again, better paranoid than dead and for all she knew this innocent looking person before her could be a crazed lunatic out for a nice cool blooded killing...Kaori quickly pushed that dismal thought out of her mind and filled her lungs anyway. Now the question was, respond to this girl? Or Ignore her? Or beat her to a pulp because she wasn't watching where the hell she was going.
Best option? Respond. "My name is Kaori, and no, I really haven't." She responded holding suspicion from her words and not curtsying because, well, she just wasn't that kind of vampiress/siren. She folded her arms over her chest and glanced at the two odd characters she had run into today wondering what could possibly happen next...

Yami eyes widened in horror and just when she went to take the rock away from him, they fairy from before came and burst the rock into a million pieces with his fiddle. She sighed in relief softly and then turned to the fairy. She was slightly offended by what he had said but then she just shook her head and got over it. The younger wolf boy seemed to not have like her much so it was probably the truth.
She was upset at how the fairy was acting towards the wolf boy. But what had upset her even more was what the wolf boy was going to do to himself. She sighed softly and then walked past them both, saying a small thank you to the fairy when she walked by him. She came back to her violin and picked it up. That boy obviously didn't want her there, and she didn't want to make him want to kill himself again. She then turned around and started to slowly walk off.

Shap'iyraa toyed with the ribbon around her neck. She doesn't trust me. I'm hurt. Shap'iyraa glanced at Kaori, and immediately noticed something. No instrument. Either she can't cast magic, or she's part siren, just like me. Huh. She averted her gaze. Kaori made her feel uncomfertable. Shap'iyraa sighed, and said, "Oh well. Thanks anyway." She curtsied again and skipped a few steps away, spun around, and sang:
