Post Urau IC

((Check the OOC first))

Akira Ito opened his eyes to find himself at the base of a tree- his tree. That tree was all he knew of as 'home', at least, other than the traveling cart, in which he was a slave forced to do stupid and embarrassing show tricks. He was the only Ookami known on this planet, at least, that he knew of. He always hoped that one day he would find another person like himself, so he would no longer be alone.

He stood up and sighed, beginning to walk into town. Who knows? he though, Maybe today will be the day that I find another Ookami. He smiled at the thought, holding his flute firmly in his hand.

The blanket of darkness had touched me - caressed my innocent cheek. The warmth it offered felt gentle, kind.
I plunged into the darkness, wanting only the love it offered. I wanted to be loved; for someone to think I was important. This was what I had dreamed so long for.

The wind rustled through the trees as the wagon moved down the path the forest on both sides as the wagon headed toward the town or Urau. Within the back of the wagon was various food supplies as well as items for trade. Also in the back of the wagon was a man whose name was Takumi a traveler of sorts. His rabbit ears were hidden under the cloak he was wearing. Sighing he sat up and looked at the man driving the cart loooked back at Takumi and waved at him. "We're going to arrive in Urau soon" the main said as he returned his gaze to the front of the wagon. Takumi nodded and looked about as the forest was passing him. With a smile he took out his harp and began to play using some music that had a calming and healing effect on all that heard it.

Kaori sighed tiredly crossing and uncrossing her legs on the uncomfortable wooden bar stool that was giving her splinters where she really didn't want them. Then again they were all terribly uncomfortable and had a bounty of unwanted splinters, so what should she expect? She took a sip of the Ale the nice man three seats down had bought her (this one actually did it all by himself) but as nice as he was he better not try to get lucky. She exhaled and pushed the drink away stepping gracefully to the ground and all but gliding out the door of the small town tavern. She wasn't sure why she even went in...who was she kidding, she was starved and was obviously thinking about killing all her morals and quenching the grotesque thirst that gnawed at her insides 24/7. She was on the prowl...subconsciously that is. She had to distract herself, NOW. Turning on autopilot she aimlessly wandered the streets and forced herself to be interested in the mundane little village...for the goodof the mundane little village.

Giosetta sat in a deserted area of the forest, the wind rustling her dead hair. Her expression was grave; her skin pale as death. Her bony fingers trembled, playing a mournful tune on her lyre. Lifeless tears ran down her cheeks with each melancholic note, the little pieces of the harmony wavering in the otherwise still air.

Her mind replayed the death over and over. She felt their bodies against hers. She heard her screams; calling frantically for help, but to no avail. Their laughter drowned her out. Their laughter... their laughter...
Her heart - it's last beat long since past - contorted in pain. Her music stopped. She cried out. Their laughter rang in her ears. The sound haunted her. It always would. She'd never forgive; never forget.

A little girl skipped through the morning sun in the forest, singing:

Ea laressa niia la
lii era kana silia
na keterana sii eth la
La enterala nii ethka

A cloud of butterflies descended around the girl as her hair shimmered from brown to a pale lilac color. She stopped, and they settled all over her small form. She giggled, and spun around, her dress flaring out as the butterflies scattered.
*****
Shap'iyraa danced into town, holding her skirt in two places and twirling around, her lavender hair fanning out behind her.

"SAIR DERKWYN, YOU GET OUT OF MY SHOP RIGHT NOW!" The shout could be heard from a small house, located on a well-traveled dirt road, which was lined with two or three other store fronts, in the small village of Urau. The shout was swiftly proceeded by the loud, reverberating slam of a wooden door that could clearly be heard up and down the short 'shopping district' of Urau.

A young adult was then seen fearfully running away from the building, nearly tripping over himself in the process. This was Sai Derkwyn, and the store he had just been thrown out of was also his home. He and his grandmother, affectionately known as Granny by the other shopkeepers, ran the small store, selling herbs and spices from their own back yard garden and whatever they found within the forest surrounding Urau.

Granny was a tough old woman, short, stout, weathered skin, thinning white hair and all. And when Sai, the klutz that he was, went tipping over the milk jug, well, he didn't get off easy.

Sai slowed his scrambling pace to a calm lope, within buildings and homes, he often found himself out of proportion and awkward, running into things and knocking things over. But once outside, he found his center of gravity and seemed to fit in his own body. Of coarse, when one is traveling in once direction, and looking in the other, one's bound to run into something, such as a certain vampire-siren. With a muffled 'oomph', Sai, once again, managed to topple himself and something, rather someone, over.

A young girl was seen underneath a small tree in the town of Urau. Her attention was completely on the instrument that was in her arms. She was playing a soft and calming tune on it, her violin. She was also humming along with it softly. This girl, was Yami Mino. She was unaware of her surroundings, just paying attention to her music. Her eyes where also closed.

In a large house, there was room, a large room. In the large room there was a floorboard, to chester, a large floorboard. And under the floorboard, has a fiddle. Chester's current home, was the fiddle, for chester, was a fairy. When the old man that cared for him died, a new family bought the house, the Dales. Chester really had nowhere to go so he hid under a floor board, in his fiddle house, playing his own miniature fiddle. But today he was hungry, he hadn't even eaten breakfast. So he strapped his violin across his back, so as not to comprimise his wings. He lifted the floorboard a creak and zipped out heading for the market, where rice was much easier to access than the kitchen cupboard of the house he co-occupied.
But he wasn't into stealing, well not food, because he did steal the item he used as currency. A single gold link from one of Mrs. Dale's necklace. It was funny, each day she was heard complaining that her necklace was to tight. Eventually she assumed she was fat and began a diet. Mattel, the rice seller at the market knew Chester well, and never declined a gold link. Chester landed on Mattel's shoulder, holding out the link.

"You know Chester, soon enough she is going to get suspicious, you know, when she only has a chain of three links", he chuckled and grabbed the link.

"My good friend, you know this is temporary, one day I will become famous, my music will be heard all across Urau", he crossed his arms grinning.

Mattel sighed and handed Chester three grains of rice in a very small sack. Chester nodded and flew off. He had almost made it back home when he heard a violin playing. It sounded wonderful, a kind of music he hadn't heard in a while. He slowly followed the music to an overhanging tree. A woman sat, possibly elven. He landed on her shoulder, as he did with anyone larger than him. Her eyes were closed, and she didn't seem to notice him, so he dropped the bag of rice down, and unstrapped his own fiddle. He began to play.

Kaori had been minding her own business and not really paying much attention to the world around her when she found herself a little to close to another person who collided with her in a rather hard and clumsy manner. She impulsively jumped flipping backwards and landing silently in a crouch away from the person that had just rudely crashed into her then abruptly crashed into the ground. She drew in a breath arming herself incase he was a less than savory character.

"Watch your step."

She growled angrily when she noticed he was in a pile on the ground and obviously wasn't planning anything stupid. She sighed rolling her eyes and what can only be described as "sashaying" over to him.

"Are you alright?"

She asked clearly irritated with the offender but still remotely concerned for his well being. Or the fact a meal had just landed in her lap in a convenient manner...no. No, no, no! Lalala can't hear that thought!
Focus, she had to focus. She snapped back to reality and waited for an explanation, an apology, and perhaps an introduction.

Sai scrambled to his feel, eyes wide, and cheeks flushing a slightly darker shade in embarrassment. "Umm yeah, I'm fine. I'm so sorry about that, are you alright?" He gave a nervous laugh and ran a hand through his shaggy hair. "Wow this morning just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it?" He said in a somewhat quieter voice, more to himself than anyone.

He looked back at the young woman and gave a lop sided smile.
