She then smiled to her self, she never got many pictures of him smiling, she usually didn't have her camera with her when he did smile, but this time she would. It didn't change the fact that even a weekend would hurt with out him, she saw a car pull up, but it was someone else, someone else's friend. "Ezra! you OK?" she called back into the house, he was taking a awfully long time packing, after all it was just the weekend.

Not sure what to bring Ezra was looking over everything he had picked up until now. A few trouser, sweater and t-shirts laid spread on the bed. When Althea called him did Ezra made his way downstairs. “What is it? Dear.” He asked her. “Did you chance your mind about not coming with us?” He then asked. He was on the point of cancelling the whole trip, not liking the idea of leaving his wife behind on her own.

Ezra slightly sighed. "Yes, your right. As always." He told her, quickly raising his eyebrows up and down in a teasing gesture. "Yeah, i have about all i need for the weekend. All except for-" As he was talking Ezra snuck up to Althea. "-You." He finished slightly tickling his wife. "I wonder if Riku and Tobias will be long." He wondered out loud. "They should have been here half an hour ago."

Athea laughed as Ezra tickled her, "stop it!" she shouted through her laughing, pushing his hands away, then she sighed, "i'll miss you" she murmured with her head against his chest and her hands on his shoulders, Althea listened to Ezra's heart, the slow thumping calmed her.
"i want you to look after your self, i want you to come back, i also want you to have fun" she smiled and kissed him again. Althea needed to stop it with Riku, she loved Ezra too much to break his heart.

Armillia padded through the lush green forest her fur bouncing and swaying with each stride. She was patrolling the pack's territory, her territory, to ensure all was well in the woods. The full moon was only a few days away and she needed to make sure the humans were staying clear of their hunting grounds, there were still a few of the young ones who did not yet have control of the beast within and she had to make sure there were no accidents. Once she was done with her patrol she would head off to work to use her human form to further steer the humans clear of any unnecessary danger.

Claudine had gotten up late, sleeping on the edge of where her pack members gathered. Shaking the debris from her she headed out of the woods and towards the town. It was interesting, when she was awake she'd more then likely find herself in her human form but when asleep she always reverted back.
As the fur rippled into skin she shivered slightly but kept walking, passing the ranger cabin/greeting house as she did. She didn't stop to say good morning, running to late to take that luxury. She had to hurry and she checked her clothes over so that she didn't look like she'd just walked out of a forest. The blond wondered vaguely if she'd see Riku today. She didn't know him vary well but they both worked in the library and had talked a few times. |

As Althea clang on to his chest Ezra gently stroked her hair. “I’ll miss you too. And don’t worry; we’re just going for a bit of fishing. The park watch ensured us there would be no bears.” Ezra held Althea close to him when she gave him that kiss. Something in the back of his mind told him it wouldn’t last forever. As he finally let go, Ezra looked her in the eye. “You know I’ll always come back to you.” He told her as he smiled his sweetest smile.

Althea smiled, "i dont care what happens anyway, even if a bear does come and tears your arm off, i'd still take you back, no matter what" she wondered what Ezra would do to Riku if he found out about the affair, and what would he do to her?
She sighed again, she just needed to tell Riku never again and that would be it, so simple. Then she realised she had missed another smiled, she narrowed her eyes, "damn" she whispered, "i still dont have my camera" then she grinned, "sure everything is ready?" she asked.

Sias stalked along the paths of the park, weaving his way through the woods. He knew that humans would take these roads if any, and he would be waiting.
It came again; the gnawing urge in the back of his mind; the instinct to hunt. To kill. To feed. He felt his fangs lengthening in his mouth, cutting into his tounge. He savored the taste of the blood. He was so hungry. It had been days since he had fed. Instantly, his mind was cast back to the event; the sound and smell of the meat parting company with it's host as they screamed and writhed, Sias' claws pinning them to the earth until at last the struggle was over, and there was nothing left but the feast. He growled in a feral facsimile of satisfaction. |
