Halt had felt the presence of the larger dragon behind him and in the sun. He had barely heard the man’s yell for what his business was. He was about to answer till he felt the presence of the smaller dragon. Though the dragon was fast, it did not alarm him. But that there was a woman as the rider, that was surprising.
Though both dragons were higher up and on either side of him, Halt still did not grow worried. He simply replied to both riders by touching their minds. “ Bold? I wouldn’t say that…” Klassh looked up to him and said privately to him, “Now you’ve done it…” Halt only smiled and then said, “From your sentence my lady I can already tell that you two do not know each other…Which is only a small relief. “ Klassh’s blue scales sparkled in the sunlight, and he continued. “ I only wished to see my opponent if they were hostile. But it does seem I am in a bad position doesn’t it? Stuck between a smaller and faster dragon, and a larger and maybe more powerful dragon…” He said sarcastically. “If you two are stupid enough to ally with the king, then I must say to get on with it and try and defeat me.”

*I'm going to try and stand on your head again...* He spoke to Brisingir, the
dragon only laughed at him *You remember what happened last time you tried that?* Smoke flew from his nostrils as he glanced back at Merion. *If it does happen, I THINK you can catch me...* Merion sarcastically motioned to him. *Eh... fine...* Brisingir had an air of confusion as to what this would help. Merion jumped out of his saddle, making his way up the dragons long neck, slipping once or twice here and there. He Finlay stood on the rough patch of scales on top of Brisingir crimson head, the swords still drawn and in both of his hands. He glared at the rider, "And what if I am... "hostile"...?" He yelled, trying to be as much of a smart ass as possible. The sun silhouetted him and his dragon. |

Draken growled when his mind was touched again, his large green wings flapping to keep them in the air and the gold from his scales flashing under the sunlight. Adriana furrowed her brow, the wind whipping at her shiny thick hair and the sun kissing her soft flesh.
Just ignore him, he’s just trying to get a rise out of you. Adriana thought to Draken, and with a final snort that sent smoke out of his nostrils he calmed and continued to hover there in the air. “We are no allies of the king…” Now that she knew one of the other two Dragon Riders wasn’t a worker for the King, she turned her gaze upon the one riding the red dragon questioningly. Had she finally found other riders that she could form a group with? She could tell, just by his thoughts, that Draken was just as excited as she was. “Are you saying that you are an ally of the king?” Adriana spoke to the man standing on his dragon’s head. Draken growled and moved forwards threatening, nudging the mans legs with his nose and knocking the guy completely off balance. What are you doing?! He’s acting like a jack ass. Draken spoke, I can see right through him, he isn’t with the King.

He looked around and stood up in his saddle easily. He almost laughed as he saw the rider trying to look intimidating. Halt Calmly stated, "If you are... “Hostile”.... as you say, And then you wont be much of a fight. Just by looking at your stance, I can easily tell you are not experienced enough to be one with your dragon. I will shoot you from your… “Perch”… before you or your dragon will even have the time to react!” He heard the woman say she was not with the king and smiled. "Good..." He said to Klassh who only growled. "You were lucky moron..."
He lifted his bow with incredible speed and shot it just as fast. But the arrow flew high, close enough to scare him, but high enough to keep him from harm. After the arrow flew farther than the eye could see, Halt said softly, “Eisyrn, thia shas sai ti.” After a few seconds the arrow flew back at Halt. He caught it easily and knocked it again to his massive Longbow. "SO..."Hostile"... Do you dare fight two dragons?"

As the golden dragon nudged him, he went completely off balance, trying to grip a scale on Brisingirs neck. The arrow whizzed past above his head as his fingers grabbed at air while he was begining to fall, his head going downward first. "Brisingir!" He screamed as he missed his chance to hold on.
Brisingir threw his head torwards Merion, trying to grab him. But he was just a fraction of a second to slow, missing his foot by mear inches. Before he could tell where he was, Merion hit the top of a giant tree, plummiting through it and hitting every branch on the way down. Finaly the branches stopped and he fell to the ground, writhing around in pain. Hundreds of curse words from ever language shot from his mouth, not even being happy that he was still alive. |

Can you just contain your self?! Adriana snapped at Draken in her mind, sighing out loud before she took a weary glance at the other rider still in the air. The man hadn’t even gotten the chance to answer the other rider’s question.
Here we go, Draken sighed, and then dig a free fall downward spiral towards the place where the man had fallen. Adriana griped at him the entire way down, threatening that if she had to use up all of her energy to heal this guy…that she would personally pull out his claws. Breaking through the tree’s Draken landed on the ground, causing smoke to puff up around him briefly. “You shouldn’t make yourself vulnerable like that…especially when your enemy’s dragon is convinced you’re its enemy.” She scolded the man, warily approaching just in case he would decide to jump up and attack.

Lenira stood up suddenly, her eyes flashing crimson for a moment, her less than humane side evident. She ran towards the sound of the person screaming, quite clearly in several different languages.
"Relax human." She called out, a bit annoyed at his screaming. The elven girl, Adriana, was also headed towards him, apparantly considering helping him. "Young dragon rider take a nasty fall?" She queried.

Halt's eyebrow was raised as the man fell into the trees... "Alright then.... I guess that would not have been a problem... seeing that he has no balance... I am surprised he can even stay on his horse." He said softly to Klassh.
Klassh answered softly, "For once you were right...but don't do it again..." He flew down and landed on the other side of the man and saw the woman slowly approaching the man. Halt jumped off Klasshes back and made his way as well, but he unsheathed his beautiful blue sword. "Care to make another smart ass remark?"

Adriana glanced at Halt whenever he landed, offering a kind smile to his dragon. However, she shook her head when he taunted the hurt human.
“Give him a rest, I think…” She paused, trying to contain a smirk. “I think we broke him.” Adriana said, kneeling down beside the boy and wincing every time he screamed. Dragon Riders often taunted each other about weaknesses. It was something Riders prided themselves in, and they never wanted to appear weak at any time. Her touch was gentle on his face when she brushed leafs and dirt from his hair and skin. “You shouldn’t play with the grown up riders.” To make the situation worse, it was a female rider that was saying all of this to him. Draken laid down on the ground behind her, having warmed up to the vampire by now, and instead turning his gaze on Halt. "You tried to start a fight instead of answering whether you were truly hostile or not." Adriana spoke, frowning a bit when he spat on the ground.
