Lilyan - Empire of Haltia, Capital city of Aracada, outside palace, market/Lyesa's house-

"You can take your hand off your sword good sir." she told him without looking at him, her attention on Lyesa's house. Then she spoke up again "Lyesa Aninalia is whom she says she is. Her Father a well respected man whom she did not get to know. She was raised by an ancient race called the Demurj." she paused to breath then continued, "They were around before the Elves or any race. Not long after they into being Elves came into existance. Then Dwarves so and so forth." she stopped and decided to take a seat on Lyesa's door step suggesting for him to do the same. "They lived with the Elves and the Dwarves in peace. Until one day a war broke out that the Demurj involved themselves in. That war wiped the majority of the Demurj out. Causing them to mate with other races. They holed themselves up in their Cities. Cities only meaning two cities of theirs. No-one except another Demurj halfbreed or pure blood can find them, let alone see them." Just then the door behind her opened.

Lyesa Aninalia- Empire of Haltia, Capital city of Aracada, outside palace, market/Lyesa's house-

"I did not wish to lie to however the Demurj like to keep themselves a secret." she said glaring at Lilyan. "Please the best thing for them is to live with other races agian. And I'm not the only one to think so." Lilyan replied then went quite to see if her half sister would pick up where she left off. "The Demurj have powerful magics to keep their only two cities well protected. Anyway my half sister and I are both half Demurjian/half Elven. My half sister is half Silver Elf. I'm sure you've heard of them." she spoke to Leon. "Well I was thinking if the Demurj just made an Alliance with Haltia maybe the Demurj could help with food supplies and much more." Lyesa looked at the ground and away from Leon.

"Wait a minute." Lilyan said and then started talking again, "If I go back and talk to the Demurj with Emporer Aaron's permission maybe then you could stay here and not have to go back." and then waited for sister's reply.

"Well they kicked you out why would they listen to you." Lyesa replied with a frown. "Cause I'm your sister!" Lilyan replied with a "duh" sound to her soft voice. "And then you could be here with Emporer Aaron and work with him on the war." Lilyan then told her. "It might be a good idea. Just when should I ask him though?" Lyesa asked more to herself than anyone else, even though she said it outloud.

"Umm Leon please forgive me for not being for not being too honest with you. Just if I knew I could tell everyone I would have." Lyesa looked at him while Lilyan had a smirk on her face.

Reliynia/Pike- Empire of Haltia, Sea of Ghosts, the ship-

Reliynia awoke from a nasty dream bolting upright she changed her clothes from what she had been wearing to a nice soft long white dress. She barely wore it but right now she needed on something light to wear. "Lirya can you use you magic to keep the other two safe?" she asked while for the first time since being with this group she took them off and carefully sat them on the ground. "Of course go get some fresh air." Lirya told her. So Reilynia did just that and walked up on deck not even noticing anyone else. She was free from the swords for a bit at least and she was enjoying the fresh air without them in her head for bit. The long white gown flowing outward as if a flower in blown as she twirled around the deck her long red hair moving outward as well until she stopped and started giggling.

Pike was still asleep and dreaming about the day of his Granda's funreal. He had held his sister in his arms as cried up a storm. Tossing and Turning in his bed he too finally woke up and went top side to get some air. Then he realized that Reliynia that Reilynia was top side too and carefree for once. "Amazing." he said outloud as he watched her giggle and start twirling again.

Coran - Empire of Haltia, capital city Arcada, Front gates

Coran scanned over the massive gates in front of him. 'Haven't seen you guys in a long time...' he thought to himself. It had been 7 long years since he left this great place when someone else with a deeper pocket came calling.

The great wolf that stood next to him sat down and started scratching its ear with its massive paw. Coran whistled at him and clapped his hands three times. The wolf jumped up, walking over and standing right next to Coran, staring at him for another command. "Good boy, Shade..." He reached down and scratched the back of his head roughly, getting a slight growl from Shade.

It had been five long years ago when Coran had found him in the Cora mountains. He had been chased by poachers for weeks, barely able to walk when he found him. That day, Coran found a sympathetic half in him. He picked up the wolf, carrying him over a mile to a pond and helped him recover from his wounds and dehydration. The wolf had been following him ever since then, and along the way he had picked up some new tricks. Many of the nights without food, Shade would disappear for an hour or so, then come back, dragging the carcass of a deer or a few rabbits in his mouth.

Coran walked forward and Shade followed, he walked through the front gates. Looking on either side of him he saw guards and soldiers, staring him down and giving him nasty looks. 'Seems they remember me...' he thought to himself, not being able to help but smile. He entered the bustling market place, vendors of all sorts surrounding the streets. After glancing up, the majestic castle loomed over head, casting a shadow in the morning sunlight. There was a straight shot road to the castle, so he and Shade dodged past people to get to the other side of the street, begging to approach the castle.

After a rough 10 minutes, they reached the front gates of the castle, quickly being stopped by soldiers.

Soldier - "What business do you have here!?" He yelled out at Coran.
Coran - "I have a letter telling me to seek out The empires Advisor... lets see..." He pulled out the piece of paper crumpled up in his pocket. "Ah, yes... Adviser Hawthorne." He held the letter out to the soldier.
Soldier - "Very well." He checked the authenticity of the royal seal, turning in his place and allowing Coran to pass. Shade began to follow but the guard stepped in front of him, not allowing him to pass. Shade growled at him. "I'm sorry sir but no... 'pets' are allowed here..." He spoke to Coran.
Coran - "well... either he follows or your emperor doesn't get a hired hand... Wouldn't that make him mad to some extent and possibly get you in a hole you cant dig yourself out of...?" He had a silk and rough tone to his voice.
Soldier - He jerked a little, moving out of the way of the Wolf, allowing it to pass along with Coran. "Ah, Yes sir!"

Coran walked forward, into the giant room. It was filled with gold, silver, paintings, just about everything you could think of. A man standing in front of a door to Corans' left spoke.

Servant - "Adviser Hawthorne will see you now..." His voice was deep and straight forward. He stepped to the side, slowly opening a door.
Coran blinked and walked into the room, it was a dinning room from what he could tell. A long table stretched nearly from one end to the other, a elegantly dressed man sat on the opposite side of the door, waving him in and to sit down, opposite of him.

Hawthorne - "Come! Take a seat! We have much to discuss..."
Coran - He took a seat opposite of Hawthorne, as he pulled his seat forward, Shade sat directly to his left, staring at Hawthorne.
Hawthorne - "As you may have noticed Coran..." He took a drink from his goblet, "We are in great need of some more... soldiers..." He frowned slightly "We are willing to pay you for your lifetime service, being payed every spring and winter."
Coran - Leaned forward on the table "How much are we talking about here...? I wont put my life on the line for a small amount as you might have already guessed..."
Hawthorne - "Yes yes... We have something in mind for payment... but lets hear what you have to say on this matter..."
Coran - He smiled "I want... two-thousand gold pieces per payment... and a house to live in..."
Hawthorne - He raised an eyebrow, looking at Coran carefully. "One thousand fivehundred pieces and living quarters inside the castle...?"
Coran - He leaned back in his chair, contemplating the reward. "One thousand seven hundred and fifty, plus the quarters, and a good sized cushion to fit my fine friend here." He lade his hand on top of Shades head, patting it easily.
Hawthorne - "You're a hard man to please Coran..." He frowned, pulling a piece of paper from his robes, and started scribbling on it. "Very well... sign... right here. This just gives us your word that you will serve and protect the kingdom under our met agreements that we have decided upon..." He slid the paper to him, a quill with ink lade on top of it. Coran quickly signed the paper and stood up, shaking hands with Hawthorne.
"When will my quarters be ready...?" He asked quizzically.
Hawthorne - "Give them two hours... go enjoy the scenery of the town for a while... might find something you like in the market..." He pulled out a pouch of gold, counting the pieces and tossing the bag to him. "There is your springs pay, use it wisely..."
Coran - Snatched the bag out of the air, he bowed to Hawthorne and walked out of the room, and out of the Castle toward the Market. He mingled in with the bustling crowd, glancing from stall to stall, seeing what each merchant had.

Aaron~ Empire of Haltia, Capital city Arcada, Palace, bedroom~

Aaron soon calmed Damien down and bounced him slightly. He looked over to Leah, who was speaking incoherently. When she sat down and said sorry through her hands he said nothing for a minute.

He then said softly, "How bout you tell me why you were outside in the first place? Without a cloak..."

((Will post my other characters here so wait for it))

Leah - Empire of Haltia, capital city Arcada, palace, bedroom

She shook her head, her hands sliding down from her face and coming to rest at the back of her neck. "You were dead." She said softly, closing her eyes for a moment. "I had...such a vivid dream, I could have sworn it was real. It was so lively." She sniffled softly as she opened her eyes and looked up toward her husband and her son. Damien had been crying, she had been the reason, for the most part, that he had woken up and was crying. Aaron had received a fist to his jaw and his gut, she had attacked him. That part had not sunken in yet.

"We were...standing by the door, and this man came. The next thing I knew, you were on the floor...and...I don't know. I woke up from the dream, and I thought that it was real. I wasn't conscious of your warmth at my side, and so I walked out onto the balcony." Her voice paused, gesturing towards his cloak. "I didn't grab a cloak because I didn't care. You were...you were gone, and nothing else mattered. I didn't know how to tell everyone. I couldn't do everything by myself, I needed you with me. I still need you with me. When you touched me, I thought it was the man and I panicked. I didn't mean to...hurt you, I'm so sorry." Her fingertips moved and pressed to her tightly closed eyes, holding back more tears. She felt sick.

She had been awake for some time, and her head was throbbing. She rubbed her forehead at this point as she was trying to wake up. She heard Lachdonon, although she did not immediately respond. Her eyes looked up and rested on Lachdonon, trying very hard to pull her mind away from the dreams. “I am as okay as I can be….although my head hurts quite a bit. “
She moved to slowly get up, standing in front of him. Her head slowly tilted to the side, her thick hair fell into her face. She seemed to be contemplating something, but she pushed the thought aside. Why would she tell him of her conflict? She chose to chance the topic quite quickly. “Are we close to being there?” Her eyes were looking just about anywhere but his own, finding herself becoming a touch fidgety and she did not want to converse about the reason.

Aaron~ Empire of Haltia, Capital city Arcada, palace, bedrooms~

Aaron listened closely to his wife…He could tell already that she truly thought he was dead…before she even stopped talking. When she said she was sorry, he said nothing for a minute… Trying to get Damien back to sleep. He had stopped crying… but he was still awake.

Aaron walked over to Leah and sat down next to her. Holding Damien in the crook of his left arm, he wrapped his right around her and pulled her next to him…”Leah… I feel horrible you had that dream…” He kissed her on the forehead. and when he pulled back he rubbed her back slightly with his hand. He smiled and said softly, “Even if I die…I will know that you will be able to protect your self.” As he said it, he felt his gut tighten a little and his jaw started to hurt again…

Leon~ Empire of Haltia, Capital city Arcada, outside palace, Lyesa's house~

Leon listened to the two sisters as they explained about the Demurj. His head was swimming right now, learning this on top of them speaking the Emperor’s name so loosely.

When Lyesa asked for him to forgive her for not speaking the truth. Leon let his hand fall from his sword. “Its…uh… its alright…so…how do you two know the Emperor? I mean, the way you speak of him is like you are old friends.”

He rubbed the back of his head…He could take them to the Emperor, but if these two tricked him, he could be horribly punished or killed…

Lachdonon~ Kingdom of Melchoir, the Sea of Ghosts, The Damarung~

Lachdonon watched as she stood up, when her hair fell into her face, he smiled, she looked beautiful. When she suddenly asked if they were close he jerked up and said “Uh… yea, maybe another two hours or so… I made this journey a few years ago for a Tournament in Adia…”

”Come on…It’s a beautiful day outside…lets get some fresh air.” He offered an arm for her to hold on to.

Aerandir/Foirn~ Kingdom of Melchoir, the Sea of Ghosts, The Damarung~

The two saw Selena and bowed their heads in hello…at the same time. It was quite obvious that Foirn had become much like Aerandir, which is the case for most apprentices.

Foirn looked to Aerandir and said softly, “She doesn’t talk much does she?”

Aerandir was looking back to the Port Landrid and was caught off guard. “Huh?” When he realized that Foirn was speaking of Selena he nodded, “Well…she has taken to talking to Pike, I have barely spoken to her… I don’t know why though.”

Foirn nodded and said softly, “I’m going to get something to drink.” He then walked away from Aerandir and into the Mess hall.

Leah - Empire of Haltia, capital city Arcada, palace, bedroom

She shook her head, lowering her face down towards her lap. Obviously feeling that she did not even have a right to look at him, that she didn't even deserve to...not after hurting him as she had. And causing Damien to awaken and start to cry. Even the ten guards running from their posts to kill anyone who had been trying to harm either of them was her fault. They had been coming for her, for she had harmed him. Yet they had not known it.

He sat down on the bed where she was sitting, and her head turned away slightly. He said nothing, he was angry, yet Leah knew that her husband had every right to be. She suddenly found him kissing her forehead and speaking in soft tones with her, though her eyes remained closed. It was a shock to feel him touching her after she had thought him to be dead, but it was very welcoming. "But I attacked you," She said, shaking her head and releasing a shaking breath. Right hand moved up, coming to rub his jaw where her fist had connected incase it was hurting, rubbing to soothe away any pain she had caused.

Her hand pulled away moments after, reaching down and taking Damien into her arms. "You should go back to sleep, I'm sure you could use it. I'll get this little guy back to sleep." She did not hug him, nor did she touch him again after she stood, almost like she was afraid to hurt him again. Moving slowly away from the bed, she came to rest in the rocking chair near the crib, rocking slowly while holding Damien in her arms.

Aaron~ Empire of Haltia, capital city Arcada, palace, bedroom~

Aaron frowned as Leah got up and took Damien in her arms. He could notice that she did not want to touch him. After what he said, showed that he was not mad....well he was mad that he was punched, but he believed her story.

And now she was trying not to touch him, usually his words brought a smile to her face. He leaned back and placed his hands behind him. She could be scared of him right now... but why would she? She should know he would never lay a finger on her.

He shook his head and stood up. He then walked over to the closet and reappeared with a black tunic and matching black tailored pants. His black leather gauntlet's were on as well. He made his way to the armor rack and started to put on his metal gauntlet.

He then turned to Leah...she of course would have been wondering what was going on. "I am going to go for a ride....I cant sleep." He walked by her and placed his left hand gently on her shoulder. "Don't wait up..."

He reached the door and picked his sword belt and cloak up. He then opened the door and slipped through it.

She knew Aaron would never lay a finger on her, he was not like that and he never would be. That was not the kind of man he was. It was quite the opposite actually. She was the one who did not want to lay a finger on him, she just didn't want to hurt him again. In a way, she had some how scared herself into thinking that, ridiculously, after hitting him, by touching him would cause him pain. And yes, his words almost always caused her to smile. Yet, after that night, that dream, she found humor or amusement something hard to find at that moment.

He got dressed, and she was a little confused until he explained himself. He was going for a ride, most likely wanting to get out of the room and the castle because of her and her actions that night. When he placed his hand upon her shoulder, her arm went up and grasped onto it, holding it to keep him from leaving for just a few moments. "It was you. Only, not. Longer hair...he had a mark, too." She was speaking of the man in the dream. And obviously she was not speaking of Damien, no. She was speaking of a man who looked like Aaron, and who shared a mark with him. The next thing she knew, Aaron had slipped out the door and left her there with Damien in the rocking chair.

Aaron~ Empire of Haltia, capital city Arcada, palace, bedroom~]

Aaron stopped for a second, as he closed the door softly. He thought of what Leah said about a man who looked like him. It was true... his brother looked almost Identical, but with blond hair, not brown. But it could not be him, he died...long ago.... because of him. Aaron had killed his younger brother... He didn't do it exactly, but he was not strong enough to hold Acharon back.

His hands balled up into fists and he shook the thought out of his head. Aaron then walked down the halls to the stables located in the court yard. A young stable boy was taking care of a sick horse when Aaron entered, and quickly bowed when he saw Aaron.

Aaron waved his hand and walked to his horse, his last link to his past. His horse, Arlos, was a Dragonare's horse. A special breed that lived longer, ran faster, and had more endurance than any other breed in the world. He quickly saddled the black steed and jumped onto his back.

He tapped the horses sides with his legs and the horse galloped off out of the Palace grounds. Aaron knew the cities lay out like the back of his hand, he quickly navigated through side streets and found his way to the front gate. The gate guard, who did not know it was the Emperor tried to stop him, but was to slow.

Aaron rode on the stone road to the forest that was to the west of the city. He let out a sigh of relief, being couped up in the palace for a few months took a toll on him. He missed riding freely through the land, no where he had to be, could just sit down and sleep where ever he wanted.

It was funny, his younger brother was the more active Dragonare between the two of them... mostly because he was to become the next king. Aaron always longed to travel as much as his brother did, and his brother longed to spend more time at the castle, but since Aaron was always busy, his brother had to hunt more dragons.

Arlos soon came to a stop near a stream and Aaron let him drink from it. He thought about what his wife said... but its impossible, he was the only one save for his son that had the curse...He remember seeing his brother fall and not move along with his wife and daughter.

Aaron placed a hand against eyes and tried to rid the horrid memory from his thoughts.

"When....will I have true peace from this curse?" he thought
