Angela is completely taken by surprise as the panther lands on top of her knocking her the wind out of her. She has just enough time to suck in a breath as the panther goes to smack her across the face. Mostly by instinct she raises her arm and catches her hand before it reaches her face. Still holding her hand she shoves her off and gets to her feet. "I guess I do belong in a zoo right next to you."the panther snarls with a roar then walks over to check the other female feral. "Are you ok?" she askes her voice calming down.

Angela's own rage begins to build and she reaches over grasping one of the metal chairs, squeezing it she leaves finger indentations in it. Just as she is about to lift it the sounds of heavy adult foot steps can be heard and she just bends down and picks of her things. The sight of her broken screen almost brings her to tears as she turns to leave she calls out to the Panther and the other Feral that this had all began over, "This is not over between us...and maybe it is the two of you who should be careful who you mess with." Her eyes meet that of the wolf once more before she brushes past them and the approaching teacher.

Kai ignores what had been said, she was too full of rage, sadness, and confusion. The feral stormed off and didn't want to worry about what had happened, but it was still in her mind. She had to finish this day of school, she can't go home. She can't.

The feral drops her stuff and plops down beside them, "What now..?" she sighs. Kai isn't the one that would normaly cause such a big problem, "I won't make any friends now..." Kai says softly. A tear rolls down her face, she doesn't know what todo.

Donta followed the two to the cafeteria, not really listening to what they were saying. The two ordered their food and turned to find a place to sit. Donta ordered his food, his favorite, a fruit salad. He must have gotten the taste from his bat side. The food dispenser popped open and he pulled the bowl from inside, to hear a crash behind him. He turned to see Farkas standing over a small, female Feral swimming in a sea of books.

The door opened and a human entered that he recognized to be in his class. She was busy reading a very expensive looking screen and didn't see the pile of books. Donta was about to say something when she tripped, and her screen smashed on the floor. An argument followed, and Eryal returned from her seat to confront the rather rude human, attempting to slap her across the face. The human caught her hand and stood with rage in her eyes. Something was different about this one. She had an odd scent. It was a scent he was familiar with when his mother worked at the hospital when he was five. The scent of metal and silicon.

"You stupid animal! Look what you did...do you have any idea how long I had to save in order to buy that? Animals should be left in zoos not to be allowed to walk around freely among humans." she yelled. Donta's eyes went wide. He knew there were still people who believed this way, but this was a little extreme. To declare so openly their hate for Ferals, in a school with so many, was taking a big risk. If what he suspected was true, then it must give her some overwhelming confidence.

He heard heavy footsteps behind him and turned to see a teacher approaching. Eryial and Farkas dispersed after helping the girl pick up her books and returned to their seats. The human collected the shards of her screen and stormed out, leaving behind the scent of heated electronics. Now that the situation had cooled down, Donta felt compelled to say something. The girl plopped her books down on the nearest table and sat as tears ran down her face.

"What now?" she sighed, "I wont make any friends now....." Donta balanced his tray on one paw and genlty placed another on her shoulder.

"Cheer up." he said, "Why don't you sit with us? We have to stick together. It's no fun being alone." He knew he sounded like a hypocrite. Even he wanted to be alone at the moment. But she just seemed so sad. He couldn't stand seeing someone being a victim of what could be so easily changed.

"I don't want to be a bother." she said.
"If you were a bother, I wouldn't ask." Donta said. He noticed that she didn't really have a scent because the smell of paper seemed to overpower it. She wiped her tears and gathered her things to follow him back to their seats.

Eryial listened to her as the rude human called "This is not over between us...and maybe it is the two of you who should be careful who you mess with." Eryial's eyes seem light up with fire after what was said, a slow smile playing on her lips, "Your damn right it's not over and your the that should be careful WHOM you mess with." she yelled back. The teachers walked up to her "Eryial, we will not put up with this kind of behavior. We know you've been through a bit of a tough time. We will not tolerate it here though, do understand me?" asked a human teacher with a rather hawkish nose. Eryial rolled her eyes, grabed her food tray from the table started to walk out to the front of the building when a human male stepped in front and sneered "You got what you deserved Feral." Eryial balanced her food tray on one hand while her claws came out and scartched the guys arm then walked outside.

Looking up into the blue sky she asked "Ariel what am I going to do now? Are watching over me like you said you would when we were children?" Ariel was her friend, the purebreed eagle that dared to love a human and was stoned to death. Not looking back at Farkas, Donta, or the new feral who's name she didn't know; Eryial ate her food, then went to Gryo-Physics.

Kai looked back, still crying her eyes out.

Kai blushed as they walked, she's never had someone treat her so well. She did followed him, but at the same time
she wanted to run away. "Thanks... by the way, I'm Kai~!" she said softly and then looked the other way, Kai wanted to hug the feral... but she was very confused.

Angela went into the girls locker room and slammed her fist into a locker causing it to buckle beneath her fist and rage. *Why do they always act like they are better then us? Those...those animals!* Clang!!! Another locker destroyed as she kicks it. *They just act without thinking blaming their instinct and we have to pay...why must we...why must I suffer for what they are? Why can't I just live without them...why can't my life be happy?* A soft sob escapes her throat, tears that she did not even know she had were running down her face clouding her vision. With a final fit of anger she rips a bench from the floor and throws it against even more lockers. She grabs her stuff and leaves the room. Just as she rounds the corner heading toward class a teacher goes racing into the locker, with any luck the ferals would get blamed for the destruction. Not like her "new" hand left any finger prints.

"Thanks..... by the way, I'm Kai~!" she said. Donta almost didn't hear her over the chatter of the cafeteria. She turned away so suddenly that he thought she was blushing.
"I'm Donta." he said as they took a seat. He gestured towards the wolf sitting across from him, "This is Farkas and....." he turned to Eryial, who was eating like a stray cat, paused as she finished her food and watched as she promptly left, storming out of the room towards thier next class. Donta swallowed and finished his sentence, "Little miss sunshine is Eryial." Kai turned red and stared down into her lap.

"N-Nice to meet you all." she said.

Her tail started to move, she was happy. But she was still annoyed about what had happened a while back. "Ummm..." Kai questioned.

"Nevermind! I think I should go... I've caused enough trouble, master won't be happy." Kai shook her head, stood up, waved, and walked away.

Farkas ate his cake quietly. Things he didn't understand troubled his mind. He tried not to show any of his confusion. " What should i do? Something wasn't right there... I could feel it. It was really awkward. I don't mind that humans doesn't trust me because i'm a feral so it wasn't about that."Tought himself.

He didn't notice the little girl invited there until she spoke.
"N-Nice to meet you all." she said.
"Nice to meet you too."said with a smile hiding the fact he didn't even hear her name.
"Nevermind! I think I should go... I've caused enough trouble, master won't be happy." She shook her head, stood up, waved, and walked away.
"Master?"He got more confused. "Something isn't right here. Hmm... Let's try something so i can gather enough information to see through this chaos."
He get his palm sized computer and started typing under the table. He liked this computer because it had soft but durable buttons, though it was only palm sized. He wrote long scripts in seconds and then send it to his main pc at home to execute them. His computer booted up in a split second and started to work on the task he gave to it.

"Greetings!
I saw what happened in the cafeteria. Those ferals were rude to you. I want to help you. I fix your screen display for free. Leave it in the public locker 211 at the mall next to the school. I'll send another message after i fixed it.
P.S.: Don't try to figure out who i am. I'm somebody who can help you."

"What the hell I'm doing...."said to himself in a low voice but he decided to go through this.

Angela was logged into the system as she sat in her biology class waiting for it to start, she was always early to class, when a message appeared on her screen, " She sits there a moment in shock wondering who could possible want to help her? She knew that there were a couple of other humans who felt the same way as her, but they had yet to respond to her messages. Maybe it was one of them??

All well it was worth a shot to get her screen fixed...she really could not afford a new one right now, she had to work 2 jobs all summer just to buy that one. Taking a piece of paper and a pen out of her bag and wrote down the locker number, she would go to the mall after school and leave her broken screen as requested. Besides she could also check out some of the cheaper screens there that were no where near as nice, but at least she would have one again.
