"You're a fool, Kami ! This is a real fight, no rules were agreed to, anything is allowed ! Don't tell me you're really so naive that you'd think I wouldn't use whatever posibility's I had against you ?" Miku said as she recovered from the blow. It took her less time to stand up again than for Kami to recover, which was perfect in her mind. Now she had to close the gap between them fast enough for him t fully recover.

With a flash-step, Miku stepped right in front of Kami. Her sword-arm was held low, joined by her left arm to hold the blade with both hands. Once she was in front of Kami, the girl swept her zanpakutoh upward, but not to strike at Kami. Instead Miku tried to slam through whatever defenses he might have had left, or at least get them out of the way. She was at least paying enough attention to notice that Kami was putting a great deal of efford to keep himself on defense.

"I'm giving you one more chance to give up, Kami-san. Or I might have to use more things that 'you don't expect". Miku grinned, but this time it was more of a concirned and agitated grin than one of joy.

Undisclosed Despair Research Facility

" Sir. The Hollow seems to be reacting well to the process. " a scientist spoke to a man behind a silhouette. " I think this would become a breakthrough in our research to create Arrancar. "

" Good. " the man said as he arched his hands in front of him. " Continue with the process. I will head back to head quarters and re- "

ALERT ALERT ALERT

" What is going on here?! " the man yelled.

" The seals and the restrains. The Hollow is struggling sir! " the scientist said in a worried tone.

" Well get a team to settle that beast down! " the man said.

" Yes sir. I'l- AAAH! " A cero beam pierced through the observer chamber and shot the scientist's head, leaving only but him headless. Steam from the chamber began filling the entire room and shadowed figure began to take a step closer.

The man looked in horror as the human shaped figure stepped forward. He took out his zanpakuto but before he could do his shikai release, a lance-like horn stabbed him in the chest. The lance retracted back to figure.

Outside, about 28 minutes later...

A naked woman ran out of small dome shaped building. On her body was a reminiscence of bone fragments that covered her body like an exoskeleton, one large spike was on her back, while the other was on her hand. But bit by bit the exoskeleton fell apart. She grabbed the spike on her hand and began digging. " C'mon... C'mon... Open up... If I could do this as a hollow... Why not now. C'mon Lucinda. You can do this.... "

Out of nowhere, several men the same uniforms surrounded her. " Any experiments deemed as a failure are to be exterminated. " They said in chorus.

Lucinda chuckled. " Catch me first... if you can. " The men took out their swords and charged at her. They were too late. AS they charged a gateway opened beneath Lucinda and swallowed her inside before closing.

The gate way opened and Lucinda fell out. In her weakened state, she merely closed her eyes. Was this how she was going to end?All those hard work for nothing?

Aoji grinned mercilessly, hollow roaming freely in his wake, their hunger driving them wild as they attacked plus and hollow alike. Aoji cared little if his little army would devour itself, should a shinigami really appear, they'd be overwhelmed by the flavor of the soul and they'd be forced to attack it almost immediately. Their success would be highly unlikely considering nearly every hollow was pathetically weak, however it would be an interesting distraction of sorts. Turning away, Aoji spotted Endra staring upwards, his eyes squinted as he lifted one of his arms to shield his eyes from the sun.
"What is it Endra?" Aoji queried as he tilted his head upwards and crossed his arms, "I don't see anything but glare."
"That's because you're looking at the wrong place Aoji," Endra muttered, lifting his other hand to point at the small disturbance that momentarily appeared in the sky. It was gone in an instant however, serving its purpose only long enough to throw a woman through it, and abandon her unconscious form to a horrible fate at the bottom.

Sighing audibly, Aoji tilted his head at Endra, "Are you going to do anything about it?"
"Of course not, its not my business. One less shinigami if you ask me." Endra shrugged apathetically.
"Fine," Aoji frowned, flash stepping off towards where the woman would land. In a couple of moments, he quickly made his way beneath her, and proceeded to use the nearby buildings to vault himself upwards into the air, catching the woman before she was moving too fast for his muscles to restrain. Landing deftly on top of a roof of the building that Sakuya had once worked in, and met this strange boy, he set the woman down and stepped back, his eyes cocked in estranged curiosity.

Lucinda felt someone or something catch her mid-fall. She slowly opened her eyes to see a man, no he wasn't that old, a boy that was supposedly her age holding her in his arms. She chuckled for a bit inside thinking that this could be some kind of fairytale dream. After a few seconds they finally landed on the rooftop.

She slowly opened her eyes and gazed at her rescuer. " W-Who are you? " her voice was somewhat like a whisper. It had been a long time since she actually moved her mouth to speak. On her hand, the lance she carried had disappeared and turned into a katana with a white scabbard. The handle had a bony design to it and at the tip was a design that looked like a miniaturized version of her head when she was still an Adjucha. She could still feel the bony plates that stuck to her body.

"Hollow have popped up all over the human world causing chaos and destruction, eating the souls," Captain Namako stated simply to Sakuya. They were in Namako's rarely used office, a thin film of dust lay over the desk, floor and the uncompleted paper work on her desk.
"Why are you only telling me?" Sakuya narrowed her eyes.
"I don't want to make a big fuss, duh," Namako smiled widely. "And I trust you do the job. It'll be easy: you're in then you're out. Because of the high numbers, Ruka is coming along with you. It'll give you some sisterly bonding time." Namako smirked, biting down on her lip to prevent her laughter. Sakuya rolled her eyes and turned to leave.
"Oh, hold on," Sakuya didn't stop. "I was just kidding! I have to tell you something else," Sakuya turned and faced Namako who had left her chair to chase after Sakuya if she hadn't stopped.
Namako's face turned solemn, "Despair might be there," she said hesitantly. "You might meet him," she spoke with even more hesitation. Sakuya was about to ask how she knew such personal information, but the door suddenly burst open, revealing a very peppy Ruka. Sakuya glared at her, realizing how Namako knew.
"If looks could kill, I'd be dead ten times over just from her!" Ruka skipped to Namako and they began laughing. "Her scowl alone could send the enemies running home!" they laughed.

The portal doors opened, giving the two shinigami a double-door entrance. They stepped through in sync, scanning their surroundings. The location they had entered was that of a cemetary. Old and worn grave stones surrounded them, the writing was barely legible from erosion. They were in the old sector of town, for beyond the cemetary lay abandoned factories where the paint was peeled off and old railroad tracks were rusty and unused. "How appropriate we should land here," Ruka said, wiping the dust and weeds away from the nearest grave. Sakuya said nothing and began walking forward, Ruka following behind. Hollow screams and roars could be heard in the distance.

When the women reached the new part of town the numbers of hollows became apparent. Almost immediately, a hollow in the form of a snake covered in intricate patterns rushed the shinigami. Ruka took this one: she pulled out her sword in an instant, meeting the hollow before it reached them. Because it was relatively weak, Ruka sliced through its mask without resistance. It dissolved and the peace and relief it left behind was almost palpable. Slowly the shinigami made their way through the city, killing some weak hollow as they went, expecting something stronger should be on the way.

Tilting his head towards the cries of fury and despair as the Hollow were torn asunder by some force he hadn't noticed arrive, the man crossed his arms and answered the strange woman with a simple, slightly annoyed tone, "Aoji, why were you falling from the sky?" He replied simply, not at all pleased by the overall weakness of the being he'd rescued. It seemed to him as if it weren't even worth the trouble of dashing across the town in order to have done it. However, he was finished with that now, and could do little more than accept the fact he'd done it.

A pity, he hoped he'd rescued something more powerful than a mere woman.

" I escaped from that land where Hollows abound, Hueco Mundo. That's what the beasts called it. I myself was a Hollow but I can't explain why I've gained human shape. " She sat up and looked at her sword. " Thank you Aoji. I owe you my life for saving me. If you agree, I would like to fight alongside you. I am Lucinda Exquira. You're ever grateful servant. " Lucinda bowed towards Aoji.

Sighing quietly, he placed a hand on his face, "Whatever makes you happy. Lets go. There's no need for us to be on Earth for now. Endra is around here somewhere, he'll take us back to Despair, then I'll figure out what to do about you and this servitude madness." Aoji shook his head, reaching up and pulling off his black robe, leaving only white training duds on his body. Throwing back the robe, he turned away from Lucinda, "And put something on. Don't you realize your naked?"

Leaning forwards, he jumped from roof to roof as he traced the energy signature that usually attached itself to Endra. The four-armed man wasn't one for hiding his presence, despite the fact that he was quickly growing weaker as the days grew on. Aoji took no notice, but found it peculiar that the man who was once on par with Shinigami captains was quickly descending in his abilities... "Are you staying up alright Lucinda?"

" Yes. It seems I am getting used to this new body of mine. Thank you for your concern." she held up her hand and her fingers. A small glow of energy formed on her palm which she then dispersed. " Also, I seem to have some modified versions of my old abilities. " A hollow that passed by caught Lucinda's attention. The blue energy on her palm glowed again and spread though all of her five fingers. She then made a gun figure from her hand, the pointing finger glowing blue. She fired the glowing energy, which turned into a shape of a bird, and obliterated the hollow. " Where are we headed for Aoji? This Despair organization, they were the ones who turned me into what I am now though I don't like their methods. I will not question your decision Aoji but are these men worth our trust? "

Her left leg went to stomp down on his foot, as her left hand shot to grab his right hand. When his fist met his forehead her hand instinctively closed and her claws closed upon his arm. He could avoid that stomp, but to get out of her block would cut his arm up pretty well. At this close distance, she shot her right hand right after Ronni's first hit her forehead. Her Gauntlet covered hand aimed right at Ronni's head. To properly dodge it he would most likely have to pull back.

Ronin wasn't too surprised she blocked his moves...his teeth clenched as her foot slammed into his. but it was only a slight pain easily ignored. Her left hand closed around his. Entraping his right arm. As he glanced at it he noticed her right coming towards his head. If that attack succeded, there was no way of escaping...perhaps a shear force of will.... he didn't want to try that though... it probably wouldn't work. He couldn't think about trying...not so close to escaping.

His right hand opened in her left just enough for him to grab her, though the gripp wouldn't help him escape from the claws. He then began to fall backwards, his neck straining as he tilted his head back. He would have fallen if it wasn't for Julia's foot on his, and him grabbing her left hand slightly. But the movement saved him from Julia's right hand.

As he pulled back though, his left hand reached acrossed his stomach and behind his right side. His fingers felt the Wakizashi's Hilt, and as they did he stated "I didn't want to do this Julia..." His fingers closed around the hilt and with a sudden burst of speed, He pulled on her left arm, which helped pull him self up, his Wakizashi sang as the smooth steel slid against the Locket.

His spiritual pressure had fallen greatly. As if the Wakizashi sealed his true strength, but instead his speed soared. The blade flashed as he swung it towards Julia's face. It would be extremely hard to stop it, with her left already held by Ronin's, and her right outstreached. (Sorry for bunnying. I'm not going to do anything crazy. I just want to move on with the story)

His blade aimed seemingly for Julia's throat, changed course slightly as Julia's right hand opened due to involentary action. Pulling his right hand out quickly at the same time, but still recieving a few deep cuts along his forearm, his blade sliced her cheek, softly, only to give her a long cut a half an inch from her mouth to the bottom of her right ear. Nothing that would scarr her face, but an annoying little cut that would sting. He then pulled his foot out from under hers with slight pain as her weight crushed his toes. He then flipped backwards to gain distance from her.

Ryuuzaki focused as hard as he could during the two battles in the very close proximity. It would seem only he would be opening the gate, but with Kami's help in the begining, it was easier. His lips moved constantly as he spoke the words he needed. He looked to Ronin and shook his head. seeing him trying to fight julia with his bare hands. The kids pride was going to get him killed. Then glancing towards Kami... He stood no chance in the longrun against her...

Finally he was able to finished the Kido spell and a small gate opened. "RONIN! KAMI! NOW! INTO THE GATE!" With out waiting he rushed into the opening that would close fairly quickly.

Ronin glanced at the gate now opened and back towards Julia, his Wakizashi still in his right hand, now reversted. His left hand streached forward with his palm open. His eyes caught a weakened Kami desperatly trying to fend off a woman with higher spiritual pressure... She then attacked him once more. Ronin suddenly vanished and appeared infront of Kami. His Kadochi in his left hand now and his Wakizashi still in his right, he blocked The womans sword with relitive ease with both of them in a 'X' defensive block.

"TO THE GATE KAMI!" Once Kami would retreat to the gate Ronin would quickly follow...and most likely have to fight through Julia and this woman to get to it. (leaving you guys another post before we move through the gate.)
