Milika rubbed her wrists and ankles, wincing from the burn of the rope. Xenith had tied her tight. With a shaky hand she reached out and grabbed the hero's fruit, then sniffed it suspiciously as he was talking. This man seemed nice, seemed true. But then, so did a lot of people. If she had learned one thing from slavery, it was never to fully trust even the kindest looking people. But then Milika looked over at the girl and boy he had probablly saved, and smiled. Maybe, just maybe, she had a chance.
Milika stood shakily, but fell down to her knees again. She was so dizzy. She sighed, then took a bite of the hero's fruit. If he was lying, and it was poisened, well then too late now. She hungrily ate the rest, and smiled. She seemed to feel better. She got herself up, and stood for a second. Only a little bit of spinning, and then the world stayed where it should. She took a few cautious steps, wincing when the weight was on her left foot. But other that that, and the throbbing head and probablly broken ribs, she was fine, and healing. Hero's fruit worked fast. Milika walked up to the scaly man, smiling. "Okay, I trust you, and I'm up. What now?"

Ayleona stepped out onto the street before her. She smiled at the hot, dry earth beneath her feet. Once and awhile she liked to come out without any shoes, just to remember what it felt like to touch the ground, nothing between her and the earth below. Her toes wriggled in the light brown powder. The small joy worked in her favor; the men found it tantalizing to see her smooth, slender feet bare upon the soil, exposed, unlike the rest of her thick, covering garb. It hinted at what lay beneath. Lea inhaled deeply, preparing herself for her daily rounds of the town: violence plagued the street from greedy, headstrong masters and their hopelessly obedient shadows, which followed cautiously behind but never quite seemed to anticipate their masters’ every demand. She couldn’t let her emotions betray her; her livelihood depended on it. If you can’t take care of yourself, you won’t be here another day to help the rest, she repeated to herself in a calming manner. Smoothing her many-layered skirt, adorned with thick gold thread and leather ties, she raised her head to be parallel with the street, walking demurely in the direction of the market.
With a gasp, before she could get a hold of herself, she witnessed a young Niko being abused by a, she noted, not-so-attractive male. They never were attractive, she reminded herself, shaking lightly in disgust. Any hopes they could have had to look brawny and enticing were marred by their arrogance and blind sightedness. Yes, she knew these men: every one of them was just like the last. Why it caught her off guard today, she couldn’t say. It’s just business, it’s just business, it’s just business… She had so many mantras by now she couldn’t even keep count, but she would do whatever it took to keep her piece of mind. She would not lose her sanity for a position in society. It put her in a position to help, and help she would. Then there was a man…or what she thought was a man…in front of the girl, handing the Niko an apple and cutting her loose, the girl's strength growing with each bite. From her many travels, Lea had heard of a fruit –hero’s fruit to be exact- that looked like an apple, but held certain healing properties as well as nourishment. Lea had traveled as far as Adofaer in search of one, without success. How did this man happen to purchase one? She wondered. She would have to go talk to him. She could see the girl’s satisfied and appreciative expression as she moved away from her restraints, curiously with that man. Yet the man walked with her, not in front of her, to some a minor detail, but to Lea it meant a world of difference. With wide eyes she watched as they headed back down the alley she had been watching from – it had a narrow back entrance which not many would notice, but she had had to make a few quick escapes when men became too eager, or too drunk, often a combination of the two, and so was quite familiar with the winding streets and alleyways near her shop. This man…no, he couldn’t be…a Valiant Knight? She shook it off; those men were as much a fairy tale as the hero’s fruit she had searched the continents for. Yet…she had seen the apple heal wounds in front of her eyes. The Niko still limped along a bit and winced, holding her side, but she shouldn’t have been able to walk away from her bindings at all without some sort of magical aid. Stepping cautiously out from behind a stack of boxes and rubble, she cleared her throat and stood up tall, relying on her demure presence to put the man at ease. She must talk to him; perhaps offer them shelter for the night. One thing at a time, one thing at a time… yet another of her mantras surfaced, cooing in the back of her mind.

Drac'tror lead the girl back to the Alley way he walked tall but he didn't do so to be condescending on her but rather to apply an heir of authority to her. He even walked maybe half a pace to her rear, again making her seem slightly more important than he. His cool blue eyes watched every move she made and noted the hero's fruit wasn't sufficient to heal her completely which was odd normally a hero's fruit would heal 100% maybe she was closer to death then he had originally thought. No one would be able to tell he was watching her for he wore his goggles. He stretched his arms out and then stepped into the shadows of the alley the light immediately dropping in the shade. He pulled his goggles up to reveal his total blue eyes as he was about to say something to respond to the girl he had just rescued he heard a sound, rather akin to that of someone clearing their throat. He turned slightly looking at a young girl she couldn't be a threat to him, why would she be.
"Is their somehow I can help you child?" He spoke directly to her mind, It wasn't really a problem for him not to be able to talk verbally, he could project his thoughts to all their minds at once if he had to. His eyes would probably catch them off guard if none of them had seen his kind before. They were one of the only race to have solid color eyes, that betray no sign of pupil or iris. |

Lea looked at the creature in front of her, bedecked in goggles and speaking to her mind. For a second she was angry - he should ask permission before invading her mind like that. But quickly she calmed herself, thinking there must be some explanation for his mode of communication. Replying verbally, she said, "As a matter of fact, there is sir. My name is Lady Ayleona, and I was wondering what you are all doing in this ally. I noticed a hero's fruit and thought surely there must be more going on than meets the eye." Her black hair fluttered gracefully around her in the light breeze as she awaited his response. If this man proved himself to be what she thought he was, they would be more than welcome in her home. If not...well, she would plan that as she went.
((sorry for the short post, but I was not sure what more I could write without his response. What are you supposed to do in advanced rp when you are talking between characters?))

"I am a Valiant Knight from far away, I have traveled the lands far and wide and plan on going further into the lands to seek out all injustice and right it." He bowed deeply sending this too all of the people present then he stood back up and looked at the girl and added "I am a hypressian dragon so I do not have the ability to speak verbally, that is why I speak telepathically if you were wondering. So is there anything I can do for you young one?" he asked again his blue eyes falling on her with an unwavering stare..
