The roar of the eager crowds could even be heard from deep below the arena where the fighters were kept during a tournament. The thirst for blood evident in their cries for the next match to begin. It was the opening day of the tournament and all were excited about seeing some of their favorites and even a couple of new rookies fight. The tournament was only a week long, but the matches lasted all day and late into the night. Now it was time for the second match to begin.

Angela heard her the bars of her cell creek open, lifting her head she met the gaze of her handler, a large and angry looking man. He jingles the chain in his hand as a signal for her to stand. Sighing deeply Angela gets to her feet standing to her full 6'2 height she stretches a bit before tying back her long auburn hair. Her gold eyes lock onto those of her handler as he approaches and binds her hands and ankles with a length of chain. Holding his electric electric club he motions for her to exit the cell.

He leads her out and through the winding passages that made up the holding area beneath the arena floor. She enters a small elevator that take her up to the ground floor. The hot sun blinds her as she enters the sand covered arena among cheers and insults she is lead out into the center of the arena. Her handler removes her chains and exits the arena leaving her standing in the center awaiting her next opponent.
