Jessica looked at William, who was helping the other injured marines, his own body not in a good way. She shook her head as she continued treating the sergeant. She positioned Maxine to hold Alec's arms down as she pulled a chest drain out after noticing his breathing slightly ragged. She sterilised it quickly, checking a spot between his upper ribs. "Right sir, this is gonna hurt, so stay in there," she said as she started inserting the chest drain in, getting a cry of pain from the man who was being held down by Maxine.
"William, are you alright!?" she called over as the pressure in Alec's lung stabilised. She knew that she had other casualties to sort out. She put a wrap on Alec, hoping to hold the broken ribs in place long enough to get him to further safety. "Maxine, can you keep an eye on Alec for me?" she asked as she stood up, "I need to check on the others." She stood up, rushing over to the other marines, her bag draped over her shoulder. She stood next to Firley and smiled at him, "I can see that you didn't escape from getting injured," she said as she took a quick look at him, "does it hurt anywhere else?" |
