Aladdin lifted his head from his book that he was reading, to find Shawne standing at the doorway, beads of sweat dripping from her forehead, her hair fanned out around her shoulders. He shook his head in half amusment and dissapointment, while laughing on the inside. He slid a hand through his dark brown hair and scratched the back of his head. Every day was amusing when she was around, heck school would have gotten boring without her. He could not help but laugh a little. He didn't know why she just set her timer an hour earlier so she wouldn't wake up late; however Aladdin didn't think it would be wise to test her patience this early in the morning. He waited until she sat down into the seat next to him before leaning over to say: "Do you just like to make a grand entrance.?" He gave her a sly smile, knowing that it would annoy her, but hey he was still a guy. Fortunately, he never woke up late. Of course, he never could late up late. He had three dogs who liked to wake him up at four in the morning just to take them for a walk. his St. Banard:Rex has never failed to wake him up by jumping onto his bed and licking his face. Although, it never got old because he can never seem to get mad at him. He also would never know what he would do without his mom to make him breakfast every morning or make him lunch. Which, today was some rice balls with salmon in the middle.

"I am not going away! Aaaargh!" Mithos screamed in the darkness running for his life, trying to use all of his magical power. "Come back!" he then yelled but he got blasted back in Tarranu, into the circular chamber from the Archmage. "Mithos! Are you alright?" Archmage Varna asked when he was standing over Mithos. Mithos had a headache that felt like it would burst his head right open, and his body was soar. "I'm fine" he said while he was standing up. King Tobias stepped towards him: "Did you deliver the message?" he asked. "Aye, well a few. I managed to reach two before the Dark Lord got in between. I fear Shawne might have been in short contact with him." Mithos answered, trying to hide his pain.
"Will two be enough?" came from a distant voice of a woman. The beatiful Queen Jasmine had arrived. "Ah, you arrived" King Tobias said, as he he hugged her as a greeting. "My queen." Mithos said as greeting. "Those two should be very motivated to complete the circle, especially Shawne, for the Dark Lord must have made a lasting impression. It doesn't matter anyway," Mithos shrugged "we will try again as soon as possible and I will contact the last three." The queen, satisfied with this answer, nodded. "Now if you would excuse me, I'm quite tired, and I have to rest. "Of course, feel free to... Mithos? Mithos!" As the Archmage was talking, Mithos was already moving towards a bed. He felt weak and pained. Mithos smiled as he felt all power from his body flow away. He fell to the floor, his world falling into darkness. He was pleased though. He managed to contact two of them. The sounds of a high-pitched alarm echoes around the base, mixed with the noise of running and yelling. Sometimes explosions and lightnings can be heard far away. The base is under a fierce siege against weapon and the manipulated weather, but it doesn't even shake a little. The footsteps are coming from the habitats of this massive constriction. Their white and silver colored clothing makes a weird flow of torrent against the attackers direction.
Except for one person. A girl with long fiery crimson hair and a confident deep blue eyes walking in the opposite direction. The scans between gates identifies her and lets her inside the building's restricted area. The sounds of battle are calming down as she gets deeper into the underground route. As soon as she gets into the last room she notices an old man gesturing towards her to walk closer. As she looks around she notices a wide variety of unknown devices and contraptions in the rather spacious room. It took a while for her to get close to the old man. When she gets around four steps close she suddenly stops and drops one kneel down bowing her head. "Please straighten up, fated one. As you might noticed formalities is a luxury we don't have the time to afford." he said with a gentle elder voice. The girl stood up and quietly stared at him. "You can speak freely from now on. You're no longer my student anymore. The time of departure has come." he added and started inputting commands into a weird console. "Master Zevach.. It's too soon.. My training is not finished yet." she said it calmly following the elderly person with her eyes only. "Indeed. Your preparation for the holy quest has come to an abrupt end, but you must not falter. Trust what you already know and let fate guide you towards to tomorrow's mystery." he mumbled back to her while manning a strange equipment. The old man moved fast, one must think that his elderly outside was only a mask. Weird, unearthly machine started whirring and buzzing due to his motions. After a while a white circular platform emerged from the ground next to the girl. She stepped right on it and turned back to her master. She was faithful enough to believe in her mentor, but wasn't enough to believe in herself. The thought of failure made her uneasy, she clenched her fists to make her concentrate. The old man noticed it and stepped out of the machinery. "Anything you want to say? Message for someone perhaps?" he asked. The girl knew that he misunderstood her worries. Both of them knew that when she departs there won't be any way back, due to the possible changes in time, but this didn't worry her. She never made friends, because she knew she will leave this world behind. She shook her head. The old man sighed and turned back to the console, but he heard a faint voice behind him. "What if i fail?" the girl sighed the question and it wasn't meant to be heard. The old man smiled without turning back to her. "Well, we are here and we are fine right now. The world is still intact and healthy. You're doing a good job so far." he said and pressed the last few buttons. The girl was devoured into blue and white light rays and then disappeared without a trace behind her. The old man slowly walked towards a rather simple console, which contained a keyhole and a red button. "Be careful out there. The future is in your and your companions hand." he said as the sounds explosions and cries came closer. He placed a key into the console and turned it. Just after he pressed the red button the door of the room blew into pieces and men with black armor rushed in. "Where is the girl? Wait... I ask something else.. No no... Just looking at you and this room. I have all the answers i need." said a man with a large sword in his hand. "Oh.. I'm glad for you. Though i don't understand what you mean young one. This room is nothing special. Except that it meant to be a grave."he said in a laid-back manner as the sworded man came closer. "Pretty flashy place for a grave isn't it? What kind of idiot would want a grave like this?" "So you have not found out that one yet?" asked the elderly man with a smile. The tall swordsman looked at him and the console next to him. His smile suddenly turned upside-down. "Evacuate at once..." he ordered his men calmly. "You're a cunning old man aren't you, father?" he added as he started swinging his sword around in a circular motion. The sword started to vibrate with shining energy. The old master just watched his son doing some sort of sword ritual and didn't say a thing. When the girl opened her eyes all she could see is the vast greenness around her. Grass, flowers, trees and bushes all around. She knew she will experience this feeling when she gets here, but all these extincted flora was really beautiful. She let herself rest for a few moments as she slowly recovered from the light shiver of the time-place travel. She held out her right hand where she had the only thing she was allowed to bring into this world is a simple silver-looking bracelet. As soon as she held out her hand a hologram video focused into the familiar face of her late-master. "Dear Licia, my best student. When you see this message you are already in the world of Tarranu. You must understand that you can never come back even if you find a way back. Believe me its the best for you and all of us. You have been trained well and with your talents we are sure you will succeed. Now go forth, your journey begins here. Be true to your name. Fated one." says the hologramic master and disappears. Licia closes her eyes for a few second as a short mourn for the old man, then stands up and breathes deeply. "Show the way." she softly says and the bracelet emits a compass-like image pointing towards her assumed destination. "Very well.. Let's go." she adds and starts walking towards the shown direction. |

Yarvael opened his eyes and blinked, where was he and what had he just done. Memories flooded into his mind and he knew again, he had been reaching out with his senses when he heard someone calling between worlds, finding out it was a royalist calling out to 2 others in another world. Hearing some of the words he was saying to the other made him intervene and force the royalist go away, Yarvael had then stared at the 1 who the royalist had his last contact with and he had gazed upon that person, that girl... and then the contact was broken.
Sucking in air slowly the Dark Lord stood up from the throne in his tent and stood upright. "So... they want the prophecies to come true... how ironic that they would try to summon the 'Circle'... no I will be victorious and the vision of the future will be carried out..." He paced around. "Two more have been revealed... 1 should have been dealt with by now and 2 are still hidden... I need to find them or all will fail." Shaking his head Yarvael walked towards his helmt and placed it over his head, taking his sword in his right hand he walked out of the tent. The guards outside went to attention immeadiatly but Yarvael never spared them a glance he was looking at the horizon. Plumes of smoke filled the sky and the sound of combat and the screams of the wounded and the dying reached his ears. He looked at the besieged city and stared at the burning houses, 1 of his commanders had seen him leave the tent and made her way towards him. Kneeling before her master she started to speak. "My lord, the walls of this royalist city have fallen and your forces are inside, victory will be yours this day." Yarvael looked at the city again and saw that some of the royal banners on the wall had been replaced by his own. "Did any wanted to deffect to our couse?" The officer shaked her head. "No my lord, it seems the king and queen's soldiers want to fight to the end." Yarvael placed his sword into the ground and chukled. "So the royalist forces want to really die in King Tobias and Queen Jasmine's names? Good, if they want to die for those fools then they weren't worthy to join my forces anyway. Send the heads of every royalist to the capital as a present to our 'good king and queen' and to remind all those who follow them what is in store for them." "It shall be done and what about the citizens of this city my lord?" Yarvael seemed to stare ino nothingness for a moment and waited for replying. "An army always need more recruits... or cannonfodder take every third man or woman who's able to fight and let them 'volunteer' for my forces... as for the rest... they will be allowed to live if they provide taxes to me... money is always needed for war and so is food to feed the men." Yarvael picked up his sword and was walking back to his tent untill he stopped. "Oh... and if they refuse to that... still take every third man or woman to fight for me... but kill every second person and tell them that all will die after that if they still refuse..." The commander bowed her head. "It will be done as you command my lord." "Oh and commander... Salin, I need the presence of archmage Gvanzen and Master Assassin Hiran... I need to find out if it's possible to eliminate some problems... that are not of this world." Salin didn't show any sign or questioned annything if she found that her master was talking strangely. "I shall send them to you my lord." Yarvael walked into his tent after hearing that and sat down again on his throne. Yes it was indeed a victory on another city, but still that fool and the bitch-queen still had enough power to oppose him even thought their resistance lessened with every victory. His victory was now still very much in sight... but if the Circle would come... then everything would change... Lost in thought the Dark Lord sat in his throne while outside his tent in the nearby city those loyal to the king and queen were killed to the last man.

Cancia was beginning to get hungry. It had been two days of traveling since she last ate. Food was getting harder to find. And, if she hadn't lost count, the world was half way into the darkness. Well, not the world. Everyone said the world, but Cancia had read books and things... something about another side to the world. Well, like the world was like a ball, so there was a sunny side. Of course who knew if there was even land over there. Better to stay in the dark until the sun returned.
There was a house ahead, a light in it. Lights tended to mean food. If someone had the capability, or concern to worry about light, then they would have food. Of course, the light tended to keep scavengers like herself away. Because, well, it was hard to see with something that bright around. She lived her whole life by star light, a lantern or a candle seemed blinding. She approached the house, knocked on the door. 'Food?' she said, trying to sound friendly. She was friendly, no intention of barging in and killing people, just because she was a 'scavenger' didn't mean she would just kill anyone for food. "No!, go away!" was the reply. Not uncommon, but there were always the nice people who would offer. "I guess saying please wouldn't help?" she yelled, still standing outside the door. She shook her head walking away. No use, there'd be somewhere else. There always was before, she'd survived. As she got to the woods outside the yard of the house, she heard voices, a gang of large men walking out, surrounding the house. "Come out before we set your house on fire!" Cancia expected a fight, but, maybe this place was too in the middle of no where. After all these years, no one had found it? The door opened, four figures walked out, a man, a woman, two children. She'd seen things like this before, when she was younger, but it was surprising to see people surrender like that. She watched, doing nothing, nor thinking of doing anything, as the men walked up with blades, killing first the children, as the mother screamed, then killed the father. The wife, they grabbed hold of and drug into the house. It worked nicely for Cancia, she walked back to the house, weapon in hand, opened the door, and walked in. The men were surrounding the wife, others searching for food. They turned towards Cancia. "Found something better," there was a sound of a blade, going through flesh as the woman screamed. The men all walked towards Cancia, one jumped out at her, without his weapon, trying to tackle her. Only took half a second or less for her blade to find his neck, bringing the other end around through the next approaching man's face. She stepped forward throwing the blade into another man's chest, they came onto her too slow. All 7 fell dead within less than a minute. Cancia drug all the bodies outside, shut the door. She had a place with food, for a while at least. Until it ran out, or too many other people found out she was there with food. Home for a month or two.

Shawne turned to Al and sighed rolling her eyes at him, *What does he even know or care about what I do?* she thinks to herself as she sits in homeroom waiting for the school day to begin. She usually was not this late for school, though she would admit that she was late very often this time she had something to blame; that weird dream. This was not the first time in her life that she had a strange and unsettling dreams. As a child they called them night terrors, she would wake up screaming about blood and darkness. The sky would be a flamed and there would be a pair of grey eyes looking back at her from the smoke. Those eyes....they were so....She shook herself as she looked down at the cover of her notebook, which now had a circle with a pair of eyes in it. They gave her medication for the dreams and therapy, as she got older she learned not to talk about them any more. This stopped the doctor visits and the fear left her mother's eyes, which is what meant the most to her. So she learned to get on with life and soon her dreams just faded into the back ground noise that was her everyday life. The dreams were pushed back there along with hopes of ever meeting her father, and every best friend she had to leave behind every time they moved until she stopped making friends. It was just easier to go on with her life alone then have to go through the pain and anger each time she had to give them up. Looking down at her notebook she shivered, that dream had been so real she could almost touch the other presence that was there. Great not only was she having trouble with getting through school out of trouble, but now those dreams had started back up again. Well as long as she kept it to herself there was a chance that nothing else would happen and life would continue as normal.
*RING!* The chiming of the bell roused her from her thoughts, looking over at Al again she just smirked and got up from her seat replacing her notebook in her bag and heading out to the hall and her locker. She needed to hangup her hoodie and grab a few other things before first class. As long as she focused on something other then that dream the day should go by fairly fast and then she could be back home in her room reading or writing, perhaps finally convincing her mother that getting a dog would be good idea. Taking a few moments to put in her locker combination she opens it to come face to face with herself in the small mirror that was magnetized to the inside of the door. Taking a moment she studied her face then shrugged knowing that she would never be the girly girl that her mother had always wanted, but she could take care of herself and to her that was more important then putting on make-up everyday. Dropping her bag at her feet she pulled her hoodie over her head only to realize half way through the process that the noise in the hall had stopped. Pulling the hood off the rest of the way she looked around and realized everyone else was now frozen in place, except Al. Arching an eyebrow at him and gesturing her arms as if to ask him what was going on there came a sensation, then a sound. A tearing sound and a booming voice, *THE PIECES HAVE BEEN PUT INTO PLAY NOW ITS TIME FOR THE GAMES TO BEGIN!* "WHAT!?" she exclaimed as she felt herself sucked into something like a rip in the air and enveloped into a blinding white light. When her eyes open she is laying on her back in the grass looking up at a green-blue sky....something that seemed very familiar to her. Sitting up and getting to her feet, "Why do I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore Toto?" she says to Al whom she knew was there without even looking over. Yet something else that seemed to just fit into this whole experience. "Well I guess this is the answer to the age old question 'Whats the worst that could happen?' " she says placing her hands on her lips as she looks up at the otherwise clear sky.

Cancia sat down. Finally some food. Always some kind of preserved stuff. Never good, like the fresh food she had before. Dry meat, or stale bread, sometimes straight grain... None of it tasted good. Before eating was so enjoyable, now it was just like, something she had to do. And she didn't do it enough, she was so skinny, tiny even. But, better to let it last right?
It was odd... some kind of smell. It was familiar, but, she didn't recognize it. Something from when she was little... Then, she could hear things too. Birds. Were those birds? The birds always left when the sun set, or they were supposed to, were there birds. Then, a strange feeling, like she was being pulled away from where she was sitting, some invisible force, everything flashed, and there was a blinding light all around. "What the hell!" she screamed in pain, covering her eyes with her hands, closing them too, it was still bright, so bright, she curled up, putting her head between her knees trying to block more of the light. What was going on? the smell was stronger now... it was grass. Grass? she was laying in grass? Who cared where was this light coming from? She continued yelling, mostly incomprehenisbly, an occasional obsenity. It was getting better maybe, slowly, god it hurt so much. Where was she? what just happened to her?

*Ring*
The bell rang and Al looked up just in time to see Shawne walk out of the classroom to her locker, giving him a shirk before disappearing around the door. He stood up, and exited the classroom and headed to his locker. He imputed the combination and opened the metal door to reveal a couple of school books and a comic book he had been reading at lunch the day before. He was in the middle of ruffling up his hair when he noticed that all the normal noise of school and people had suddenly stopped. He looked up to find everyone frozen in place, except for Shawne and himself, as if someone had pressed pause on a movie. Shawne shrugged her shoulders and made a gesture as if to ask what was going on. However, before he could even form a sentence in his head a voice boomed around them, sounding as if the voice was coming from inside the walls:"*THE PIECES HAVE BEEN PUT INTO PLAY NOW ITS TIME FOR THE GAMES TO BEGIN!*" It was the only thing he heard, before he was sucked into what could only be described as a rip in the air and into a blinding white light. He closed his eyes for only a moment and when he opened them again, he found himself and Shawne surrounded by green grass and a green blue sky. He barely heard her as she said something about Kansas and a toto and about it couldn't get any worse. Which according to him was debatable. He took a moment to absorb the surrounding area, while trying to wrap his mind around what had just happened to them. Questions that could not be answered buzzed around in his head. "where were they? How did they get here? Who the heck was that person talking?" It seemed that the more he thought about it the more confusing it got. Al decided that it would probably be best if they found some shelter first before they started asking questions that had no answers for the time being. However the only thing that bothered him was that, his mom was going to be mad when she got home and the dogs weren't walked. Oh great! he thought to himself.

*THE PIECES HAVE BEEN PUT INTO PLAY NOW ITS TIME FOR THE GAMES TO BEGIN!*
"The hell?!" Mithos screamed as he woke up, still with this booming voice in his head, though not actually speaking. A Priest sat near his bed, tending to his wounds inside, stopping the bleeding. His headache was gone. He looked to the left and there was the face of Archmage Varna himself. He was inside the Archmage's quarters. There were a lot of bookshelfs with all kinds of books about magic in there. A lot of strange runes lay spread across the bookshelfs as well, next to alchemist potions. Only 1 bed was in the circular room surrounded by bookshelfs. It was in the middle, with many runes around it in a circle. Most were unkown except two. The symbols of water and fire. "I'm fine" Mithos said again, before the Archmage could even ask. "Alright, next question. What happened?" the Archmage said, after he sighed. The Priest was done and the Archmage signed that he should go away. After the door was shut again Mithos started talking. "This sleep was unlike any sleep I ever had. Dark. Everlasting" Mithos felt confident that he could tell the Archmage this. He was a good friend and far more expierenced with Magic than Mithos himself. "In this sleep I could sense the presence of the five. Three are somewhat aware, there are two I contacted and one that somehow trained to be here. Two have no clue, one of those was near another chosen one though, he was near Shawne, so I'm confident that they will inform eachother. So one of them is lost" Mithos shrugged. "And that's when you woke up from having the nightmare?" the archmage asked pondered, not seeing the connection yet, "did the Dark Lord come again?" he asked two seconds later. He felt stupid for not thinking about him. He was tired, and hadn't slept in a while, even though he drained all of his power. "I.. I'm not sure" Mithos stuttered, for the first time in his life. His emotions got the best of him lately, when he was trying to contact a chosen one, he actually felt fear. Mithos shrugged these thoughts off. No time for weakness now. "I heard a voice yell: The pieces have been put into play now it's time for the games to begin. Something then burst, with all five of them and me." "What you saw.. the only explanation for you to see them is that you were still under control by the spell. Your will is strong, Mithos. Even when you collapsed of pain, you still won't give up." Mithos nodded at this compliment, though thankful, his will saved him more than once. "We need to inform the King and Queen" Mithos said, as he started to stand up. He still felt soar and tired, but he didn't care and just took it, as he took so many blows. "Yes indeed. Chances are that the choosen ones are in Tarranu!" the Archmage said, confident and triumphant. "I will explain everything in front of the King and Queen, not to worry!
