Default Twilight Princess

(OOC: Invite Only. Only one INVITED was WhisperOranges)

Inside the arena's main chamber, the sound of Nisroc's training could be heard for miles. The crashes and waves of power that emitted, only made Aven smile briefly. Her spirit inspite of everything never failed. Her will and ambition alone made her an asset he was sure. But something about her aura gave him a even more familiar tickle to his sense. A speck that linked to the phantom past that followed everyone of them.

They were told never to dwell on what lay behind them, but the thoughts stilll lingered in Aven's mind. What was so different about the others? He was sure in some way the past came to haunt them all. Aven assumed, the realy truth behind 'not dwelling' was more of test. The idea was only to prepare us to face waht we can never escape. The past made us in a way. Without it, we would have never come to be...

How she lived life so well, inspite of the past her aura reflected...that was more interesting to him than her beauty...
As she waged her own battle on the inside, Aven looked to his own escape:

The outdoor courtyard...

The rain pelted his face this night, as he lowerd his hood for the first time in ages it seemed. His hair dampened, his eyes peering into the streams of dark water that blanketed the moonlight. Voices resounded in his head, a song, lyrics to the music of his heart. As the beat inside kicked in, the rain fell faster.

He untied his coat, letting it fall to the ground, splashing loudly, but drowned by the noise in mind. Underneath he wore sleeveless underarmor, wet now, it clung tightly to his defined frame. The moon pressed through the clouds as if to illuminate him. Loose fit pants swayed in the wind, chains chiming to the hymn of his garmets. In his fingerless-gloved hand he held his sword to nothing but the air...and began...

You come to me with scars on your wrist
You tell me this will be the last night feeling like this

The beat starts, and Aven moved with it, fueled by it's song and one with its lyric. A voice joins in, a women's, one he knows but cannot face. She speaks to him in the song as he slashes at the dark, working his muscles and fighting with himself.

I just came to say goodbye
I didn't want you to see me cry, I'm fine

He replied in his mind...

But I know it's a lie

Angered by the events he saw, the picture the words bring, he cried out inside. Words ryhming to the voice, calling out to the night as he danced with his blade. Sweat mixed with rain as he continued to fight the shadows...

Default Broken

Nisroc felt like a truck had run over her...four times in a row.
She managed to defeat the Golem with wit and not strength, as it was in most of the dangers she faced in the past. Then again, she did use the words most and past in the same sentence.
It seemed that reading all those ancient manuscripts and books didn't go to waste, after all. Good thing that she had photographic memory; otherwise she would've been flattened like a pancake today. She groaned as she fastened another bandage over her thigh, the burning sensation of her wounds more evident now then on the field. Tomorrow was going to be a very painful and long day.
With some effort, she got up, listening to the clashes and screams of the ongoing battle between Nicolaus and his Golem (she quickly realized by the sounds that he wasn’t having any problems that she did. She gritted her teeth in both envy and anger at this notion).
Nisroc needed a rest. Politely as she could, she excused herself and, limping painfully on both feet, made her way outside for a bit of fresh air.
She sighed with relief as raindrops fell from the gray sky, dampening her coat face with cooling dew. The rain washed away the rest of the grit and blood from her face and body. If only it was that simple to wash away all her sins in the past…
She shook her head, freeing herself from the haunting thoughts. Why be depressed now when she could do that later?
She smirked at her morbid joke and paced quietly through the courtyard, loosing herself in strange thoughts. Her boots echoed hollowly on wet stone, the smell of damp soil filling her nostrils. She passed a few feet before making abrupt stop, turning her head to the noise that broke her trail of thought.
The rain poured more fiercely now. It made it easier to “see” things, the drops contouring each and every shape in her hearing range.
Nisroc felt the scales tip more to life and she needn’t any second thoughts of whom it was.
Aven.
She felt the strange proportion of the scales while he was introducing himself. It was very interesting and frightening at the same time, for no one had such an extreme ratio of life before and that made her a little uneasy. She quietly “watched” as he gracefully turned, slashing the air with his sword, obviously lost in the moment.
There was that weird feeling forming in the pit of her stomach again, like someone was tugging at her insides, and she gulped, holding her wounded arm almost protectively to her side. He needed his peace and she wasn’t going to disturb it.

Default The Rain Continues

(OOC: Nisroc, you may invite anyone on your end. I just wanted you to respond atleast...)

The final shing of the Oni-Daiku was made when it's silver blade collided with a thick stone. Small sparks ignited briefly, disolving in the showers. Then, all was silent, and Aven remained still in the landed position, frozen in time. His breathing fell in slow heavy sighs from his chest. His toned muscles, though small, felt a new strength with the waves of adrenaline that filtered through his veins. His arms tightened to resume their normal functions as effortless as before.

In the monlight, the rain dropped crystal sheens over his forearms, reflecting back the heavleny rays. his body was unlike most men his age, more slendor with slight definition. Enough strength to hold his own, without the senseless bulk of large burly men. Aven's body was handsome in some sense of the word, not in his own eyes, but one such as he never looked greatly at their own reflection.

The rain helped cool his heated blood, and slowly his mind and breathes returned to their norm. He sensed the spike in his own aura, an interuption from outside it. Turning, he saw the source: Cynner Nisroc.

He infered she had been watching, despite her blindness she had her own 'sight'. Rising, Aven stood tall in the rain, his eyes never taken of her face. His mind made note of the cloth that covered her eyes, he kept staring only because his mind processed that she could not see his gaze. However his mind would not take in the fact that she was fully aware of his stares. A flaw indeed to his human shell.

Words. He desperatly wished he could speak aloud, to greet her, and question her battle. Anything would do at that time, anything that would break the silence around them. But, the scars of the darkness robbed him of that leisure, and communication was limited on his end.

Still she did not move, she remained in the rain as if his hour of sword art was astounding. Yet he felt a deeper meaning in why she didn't rush by. Her wound maybe? Pain like that would render even him immobile for a moment, but something else too.

She was hesistant, as if not sure whether to interact with him, or head to her chambers, of course this was all infered, all Aven had was his assumptions. Unable to speak a hello, he lifted his off-hand and made a simple gesture, a 'wave' to show that she was welcome...

Hi... he thought the words he could not speak...

Default Silent Communication

(Nah, this is way too fun XD. Oh and about the PM... the title of the message was I did it, so I said "Do I have to use words"...Nevermind XD)

Nisroc was now soaking wet from head to toe, the leather coat and the silver strands of her hair clinging to her slender physique, but she barely noticed any of this. She was lost in her own thoughts, gazing eagerly at Avens’ swordsmanship, jerking her head ever so often to capture all of his movements. She could only think of one word to describe his craft.
Perfect.
Suddenly, he stilled himself so that she could see every drop fall and cling to the sword, dripping in rivulets down the handle. Her heart hammered in her chest as he slowly rose, the discomfort she felt before suddenly doubled as she saw his appearance for the first time.
As the raindrops whizzed by his face she saw the chiseled lines of his face, the shoulder-length hair matted to his forehead by the rain and the eyes... Even with such primitive sight she knew that there was no playing around with this guy. They were heated, almost smoldering, watching intently… like a lion would its helpless prey. His lips drew into a thin line as he probably pondered on what to do next.
After a bearest fraction of a minute later (what seemed an hour to her as she waited in silence) he raised his hand and waved, noting that she was wanted in his presence.
She blushed, the crimson color shading her pale cheeks. As she tried to gulp back her pounding heart she gave a small bow with her head, showing her respect to her colleague. It was an old habit she had from her former years as a Paladin. She shivered at the very memory of it.
“My apologies. I didn’t mean to intrude.” She whispered, tugging anxiously at her gloves. Pausing, she pressed a hand to her lips, remembering that there was a way to communicate to him.
“Um, you could mouth the words.” She offered, gesturing her hand towards him.
“I can see now…you know, like in the Daredevil movie?” His face contorted in confusion as if she’d just spoken some foreign language.
“Oh, right.” She sighed, holding her bandaged arm to her side. “You’re not from Earth. Just…humour me, ok?”

Default Connection

Awestruck by the sight of her form in the rain Aven reamiained speechless (Pun intended). The shadow of the moon shifted to her frame reflecting off her wet clothes to illuminate her more. Crystal spcs filtered through the air, the light in the darkness, and what Aven saw reminded him a a rare black rose. A plower so sweet a majestic, but shrouded in darkness. This comparison was good in his eyes, as the rose was his favorite flower. And Nisroc was indeed his favorite Cynner.

He bent down slowly, lifting his coat from the ground, resting the Oni-Daiku in his main-hand, Aven shok his head "No...". He wanted her to stay, even if only for a moment. He enjoyed her sight. The rain had no hold on him, as he saw her clear, and despite the frigid breeze her aura melded with his to form a strange heat.

He mouth several things, but nothing came out decent, phrases like "Can you understand me?" or "Hello." He didn't know how well she received detail, but he was trying his best. Maybe his distance? He moved closer to her, climbing a small set of granite steps, but stopped abruptly. A sensation, a high, came over him as he neared her, a connection he could not grasp fully in understanding. He was stiff as he pondered it, and a strange fragrance filled the air. A pleasent smell, the scent of lite. He looked deep into his senses, and felt the mixing of their aura, what was this feeling? What was this force around them? He was weary, and felt awkward as his gaze never seemed to lift from her.

To avoid this he mouthed, "Are you ok...?" moving his gaze to her wounds forcefully, if he took attention away from the area, maybe he could avoid the topic of connection. Besides, worry sent in for his injured comrad...but mostly, for Nisroc herself...

Default Strange Thoughts

Aven neared her and she felt like hyperventilating. Her pulse raced rapidly while he climbed the granite steps, as though she’d just ran a mile.
A droplet of rain trailed down to his mouth and stopped, clinging to his lower lip. Unaware of anything except the small distance between their bodies, Nisrocs' tongue slowly grazed over her equally wet lips as she watched the small drop hang loosely for a fraction of a second, then fall to the wet ground.
Oh, God he was too close now. Way too close. She wanted to take a step back but she found herself glued to the spot, unable to speak or move. Like some bizarre statues they just stared at each other, the unyielding tapping of the rain breaking the silence between them.
What the hell was the matter with her? She didn’t like feeling vulnerable or scared for that matter… and he was doing both to her just by standing near her. And he was still watching her… Good lord, did she have anything on her face? She hoped not…
Then, jumping as if she was struck by lightning, he mouthed three words.
Are. You. Ok.
She almost found herself exhaling with relief right then and there.
“Oh, it’s nothing. Even though I look like a panda with all of these bandages on me, believe me, I’ve had worse.” She gestured at her blindfold.
“But I do much better working in darkness. Light is not a dear friend of mine.”
That is true Rowan.
She shuddered at the sudden thought of her old name. To prevent the building silence between them she timidly asked a question back.
“How long have you been a Cynner?”

Default A Healing

Aven felt a shift in her aura, a hesitation in his movements made him weary of furthering toward her. He would not make her uncomfortable.

Aven got an idea, one he wished he had thought of erlier. If he focused enough energy into the MIND glyph, maybe he could pull off an extensive telepathic reply. Mouthing words was getting too complicated for him and he knew that extensvie conversation would only hurt this interaction...and, his mouth hurt.

Aven motioned his fore fingers, drawing a orange symbol i the rain filled air. Drops fell througthe the incantation, but it would not falter in it's burst. A spark of crystal powder erupted as the glyph shattered after completion.

"I lost count...", a powerful echo sent forth into her mind, clear and audible the manifestation was as acurate to Aven's old voice as it could ever be. Un fortunately he could only send a single message with each cast, but it was better than mouthing the words.

He hated the idea of her extensive injuries, and he didn't really enjoy talking about himself, Aven changed the subject before she could respond. With another glyph, "Those really look bad, and this rain is not going to help..."

As much as the moment was so deeply desired, Aven knew this was not the place for extensive conversation. As much as he would remain forever in this position, the climate would only make the future worse. Another glyph, "Nisroc, we should move to the infirmary, I'd like to take a look at those wounds..."

He had no ill intentions, and though no doctor he knew a few healing spells that would help before infection...

(OOC: Sorry, don't have much time so my posts are starting to suck. Forgive me! They will get better I promise. If you don't reply, I'll edit it and change some things.)

Default Hurt

(LOL, no this is great...I'm getting a few nasty thoughts. XD Take me to the infirmary my knight *snicker*)

Nisrocs’ eyes blinked under her bandanna. The pain of her injuries didn’t affect her at all during their little conversation. How awkward…
Now that he brought it up though, the searing pain came back…and it brought reinforcement. She had to grit her teeth just to smother her oncoming whimpers.
“Yeah, I think we should…” She whispered, her mind set on her wounds and not on him. This was a good thing; she didn’t want him tampering with her feelings.

Default In Sickness, And In Health

(OOC: OH! You bad girl! Nasty Nasty! lmao.)

Aven moved in closer, ignoring the switch in her aura. Putting on his coat he rpositioned the Oni-Daiku and reseted it against his lower back in it's holster. With his gentle hands he calmly moved to place her left arm around his neck for support. Caustiously he placed his free hand around her waist, bringin her in close. He moved like a comrad, his position only to aid. He did not step from hs boundries, keeping his hand steady on her waist line, far from her red-zones (OOC: Women parts). He hoisted her up, not into his arms, but to take weight off of her own body. He was worried a little that she may feel uncomfortable, but the trip would be long and she may not make it alone. He only saught to keep her safe.

The journy was long it seemed. Though only chambers away, the time it took was silent, making the lasp of time seem more stretched. Finally in the warm santuary of the infirmary, Aven helped her into a comfortable seat.

The room was stoned, with shelves and shelves of chemical potions and remedies made by other Cynners. Ingredients poured in daily from other worlds to be studied and prepared, Aven trusted none of them. His soft fingers found there way from her body, and he stood over her. Creating the MIND glyph once more, "May I?"

He would have to removed the bandages, but would not touch her any further without permission. However, he needed to know just how bad they were, or his power may not be strong enough if they get too bad.

Again to the mind, "We have to take care of them before they get infected..."

His hood up again, and the rain no longer pouring, he knew she could not see the worry on his face. But it was there still...

(OOC: Wahahaha, woman parts? You are worse than I am...ROLFMAO)

Nisroc tried to overlook that he was touching her and she did it with great success. She focused only on her wounds, concentrating on the way the burns chafed under the cotton bandages.
She did this for most of the way before suddenly realizing that the previous fight with the Golem left not only scars to her body, but also to her clothes. It took her a few painful seconds to tear off the remaining pieces of her left sleeve that melted to her skin by the heat of her creature and now her whole left arm was covered in white cloth. But that's not what worried her.
As they passed through another corridor she turned her gaze downwards, where her feet were. Even though she couldn't see her limbs, she knew that the majority of her pants had been burned off. The white stems of her legs were now wrapped in bandages. Not even the tattered and scorched flaps of her coat could hide that. She gulped, the sound unnatural in her ears.
It was like dooms day… No, worse then that. If she weren’t that hurt, it might’ve been funny to her. But right now, under these circumstances, she didn’t feel like laughing.
She suddenly felt the nearness of his body as she did moments before and she blushed deep red up to the roots of her silver hair. This was going to be weird.
They made a right turn and Aven opened a door, the hinges protesting with a creak.
The smell that filled her nostrils calmed her. It was the aroma of paper, ink and a tinge of anti-disinfectant. She didn’t even notice him sitting her down on the oak desk. Nostalgia swept over her and she relaxed a little, her hands situated by her sides, grasping the edge of the table.
Her thoughts were interrupted as he sent a message to the recesses of her mind. She realized that he was not touching her. That was good.
May I? The male tenor echoed in her thoughts. We have to take care of them before they get infected…
As the sound trailed off she decided again that he had a nice voice.
You really are an odd sort Nisroc.
She sighed, knowing that she couldn’t escape this, even if she wanted to (OCC: Now this is interesting XD).
“Yeah…knock yourself out.” The corners of her mouth twitched into a ghost of a smile.
Her hands grasped more firmly on the corner of the desk, until she felt her knuckles whitening with the pressure. She waited, bracing herself for the inevitable.
