Liza

Vroom... Liza had, over much clamor, claimed for herself a seat in a taxi service by moped. Awkward as it sounded, the ride was considerably smoother than anticiapated, and the time it took to effortlessly weave through the cars and lanes had brought her that much farther ahead than most others in terms of getting out the airport. New Amber could hardly be considered as a town at this point; the hotel, the House of the Setting Sun, was an impressive 6-story building surrounded by a highly developed suburban sprawl sprouting around the urban center : Pokecenter, Pokelab, airport and all others... Really, New Amber was a small city in disguise. The warm, mediterranean air whipped Liza's hair as the moped bumped down the cobbled street, before meeting the more familiar, smoother asphalt. Trees and buildings whipped by in a kaleidscope of greens and greys, flashes and squares and lines of silver, emerald, and brown as flocks of bird-type Pokemon angrily chirped at one another. It was fledgling season, perhaps the most dangerous for flying types with the proliferation of competing predator pokemon over the Bug-types. Liza hadn't bothered to use a Pokedex, but she trusted her memory to sight for long enough in her lifetime that she could recognize a few characteristics her and there : color, size, probable type, maybe exact height and weight. This is she." Whatever the case, Liza was able to occupy herself until she found herself ghosting her way towards the lobby desk, and after a minute's ride up the elevator, had already kicked off her shoes in the anticipated march to her door. When she did open the room, honeydew hit her nostrils with much more intensity and sweetness than the honeyed air outside. In a dream-like walk, Liza let herself drift onto the bed as she clicked her pokeball twice.
