Olivia sat up in her bed, she rubbed the sleep from her eyes and yawned. A morning full of yelling and door slamming was nothing new, and tended not to bother her, but today she just wanted to keep sleeping. She was not in the mood for social interaction, and faking a smile. She had silently cried herself to sleep the night before after looking through a family photo album, and did her best not to wake Zoey on the bunk below her. Liv climbed down from the top bunk, threw a stuffed animal at the lump of blankets that was Zoey. "Wake up. Its time for breakfast." she said tiredly. Olivia Slowly made her way down the hall to the bathroom to brush her teeth, as her mouth tasted terrible and probably smelled even worse. Opiates did that to you. She had just gotten her braces off two months ago, and was bent on keeping her pretty straight teeth, sparkly and white. Though she had a habit of not looking in the mirror when ever possible. She glanced briefly at her reflection. The puffy face, dark under eye circles, and tangled mess of brown hair stared back at her. She hardly recognized herself. She opened the medicine cabinet and looked over the prescription. She took out the bottle that said Roderick Reese Oxycodone on it, and took two pill and poured the rest in her pocket. They had been prescribed to her dad after his back surgery last summer, but now they were going to waste. She took a deep breath as she walked down the stairs to join the others for breakfast, her least favorite meal of the day. The smell of pancakes and bacon made her slightly nauseous, but that was typical. "Morning..." She said quietly as she sat down at the table, looking over the feast Rye had created. She was dreading school today, not that anyone could tell, at the moment she still looked half a sleep, and in need of a hair brush. She had on one of her dads big old tees, and some baggy sweatpants with a poke-a-dot pattern. She slept in one of her dads shirts every night, since her parents died. When Sophia moved back in and took over her parents room, Olivia threw a fit, something she never does. It was a surprise to everyone, when she started yelling and crying since she was normally quiet and passive. Olivia had wanted to leave their parents room untouched, and unchanged, to let it stay the way it was when her parents were alive. It was nice having Sophia home, since she was not really happy with her leaving in the first place, but she wished that Sophia had just shared Kylie's room like the use to before she moved to the dorms. She placed a handful of strawberries on her plate, and poured some water in her glass. She briefly scowled at the stack of pancakes, but decided to take the smallest one, so Rye wouldn't nag her about how breakfast was the most important meal of the day. As her siblings squabbled and laughed Olivia sat quietly and yawned waiting for Zoey and James to get to the kitchen.
