Closed off when she's out in public and overprotective over her son, Nana is a woman who focuses on what she needs to do. When she's safe and at home, she is extremely playful and fun to be around with but, for the most part, the only person who gets to see that side of her is her son and any people who visits her house for longer than ten minutes. Though she comes off as reserved and avoids long conversations with people like the plague, she's actually a lovable, silly, geeky kid at heart. Her uniquely shade of green eyes is extremely mesmerizing and her smile, when she does find it in her to smile, is something worth remembering. When she was a child, she would sing hymns for her father and from what his expression showed, her voice brought tears to his eyes. Now her voice is just for her baby boy. Due to her trust issues, she has an intimidating aura around her that warns people from approaching her. Nana only lets people see her timid side, but if anyone touched her child or even considered holding him without her permission her mother claws would come out.

Nana's childhood was simple, but extremely religious. Living in a private community hours away from Millington, her mother was a housewife while her father commuted constantly for his long days as a construction worker. Even with such a simple household, everyone had their place and if anyone stepped out of line... well, that's a story for later. Everything about Nana's life felt secluded, private, and lonely. Her father didn't trust anyone to teach his daughter so he had her home schooled. She was also hardly ever let out the house... her father feared someone would look at her and want to claim her as their own. Even with such a possessive father, she loved him dearly. He worked his ass off just to provide for his ladies. Unfortunately, her father suffered from an addiction of gambling, so all his hard work usually went down the drain... that same night. Nana taught herself of the world using the great big screen known as the internet. She stumbled on some of her father's naughty sites which was a bit much to handle for an eight year old. She loved to read about the world. Her family's book collection was tiny so the internet was her gateway to the outside world. 

Soon after, she discovered Shojo Manga and spent all her days reading desperate yet wonderful romances. The young girl soon blossomed into a teen and had a mind filled with fantasies. Her mother was quite withdrawn and didn't bother building a relationship with her. By age 16, she decided to ask her mother politely if she could go on errands with her. They just had to keep everything hidden from the man of the house. There was this one boy, perhaps around her age, that took a liking to her. She couldn't help but get giddy on the inside. Whenever her mother went out, she would always try to join her. Her mother didn't deny her daughter, who obviously needed to be exposed to the outside world. Within two weeks of her meeting that boy, he began approaching her when her mother wasn't looking. Giving him her address, she innocently offered him to visit her at night...

Within that one night meeting, her entire life changed in a blink of an eye. The boy wasn't the prince she thought he was and he forced himself on her in the backyard. Her father came home early that night and found the male on top of his daughter. With rage in his eyes, he wanted to kill this boy, but to his surprise, the boy was the pastor's son and if he touched him, well that's never a good thing. The boy blamed Nana for leading him on and her mother made matters worse, "She's on the computer everyday! She probably indulges in Sin". Wanting to plead her case but not given the chance, her father pulled her by the hair and disowned her calling her a harlot while throwing her out. Her mother only seemed to grin as she and her father walked back inside her old safe haven. The pastor's son shrugged and told her she was a good fuck and left the poor girl outside in the dirt. 

After living on the streets for a bit, Nana discovered that she was pregnant. What should she do? Kill the baby? Kill herself? The young girl knew she didn't have it in her to do any of that so... she would pick up the broken pieces of her heart and start a new.  Begrudgingly, she hitchhiked her way to some random town, which so happened to be Millington. Surprisingly, within the first night she arrived on the streets she made a friend, who worked at a homeless shelter. The woman told her she'd help her get back on her feet. Together, they would make sure Nana didn't lose her baby. 

Fast forward to now, at age 21, Nana owns a small, affordable house on the outskirts of town and is raising a healthy, five year old son, Jude Tristan Darling. The lady that helped her get back on her feet is still very much in her life and occasionally babysits her son.
