The World of Sea - Nalutis

Long ago a great sea demon united the inhabitants of the sea. Using the wast power he obtained he submerged almost the whole land into the ocean. Finally he came to the last land left, the large islands of Farret and Suna separated by the Suna Straight. His army quickly assaulted the unprepared Farret island but when he turned to Suna, a lone hero and a rebellious mermaid with a band of comrades and allies meet him and his army. Using the holy sword Armah he fought and defeated the Sea King, but was killed by the Sea King's eldest daughter before he could strike the killing blow. The mermaid then fallen in anger and slaughtered most of the Sea King's army and family. Then she took the holy sword Armah, as a memento of the man she loved, and vanished into the sea. The band of warriors which fought alongside them split and became kings and queens, in new or old countries. 1379 years goes by...

Sea King *(?) - a sea demon which gained power and became the leader of the inhabitants of the sea, heavily wounded by Firio 1379. years ago, which left him unable to perform most of his duties. Wields the water trident Wiger.
Sea Princess (-55.) - the eldest daughter of the Sea King, currently acting as a regent for the weakened king, killed Firio with her water trident Nirfal
Sea Royal family - slaughterer down to 23 members by Arris after the death of Firo, now each rules a large part of the sea
Firio Naighlas (-19. to 0.) - the last wielder of the holy sword Armah and the hero which driven the Sea King from Suna Island
Arris (-15.) - A mermaid which fought with Firio in the Great Sea War, wielder of the ice trident Narritak, had romantic feelings for Firio
Herri Tobiy (-24. to 43.) - A paladin of Suna, which fought together with Firio, wielded the great spear Ilayaki, founder of Tobiy
Nassi Parina (-20. to 68.) - A priest of Ilian, which fought with Firio, wielded the holy specter Sulin, founder of Parina
Rango Waran (-21. to 55.) - A warrior of Batou, participated in the Great Sea War, wielded the thunder axe Marak, founder of Waran
Isaki Nakim (-18. to 145.) - A wizard of Batou, a hero of the Great Sea War, wielded the magic staff Mavar, founder of Nakim
Tios Secuns (-19. to 61.) - A archer of Ilian, fought in the Great Sea War, wielded the wind bow Lamik, founder of Secuns
Seya Reinfis (-18. to ?. - last seen in 247.) - A witch and princess of Ilian, leader of Ilian's Magic Corps during the Great Sea War, wielded the fire broom Stardust, inherited the throne of Ilian

Ilina (born Reinfis) Ikaris (-27. to 55.) - Princess of Illian and Queen of Suna from -5. to 55., Firio had romantic feelings for her

From after the Great Sea War:
Taren Ikaris (984.-1043.) - Last of the Great Kings of Suna, ruled from 1000. to 1040. as King of Suna. Signed the Suna Treaty which split Suna into Ikara, Simey and Olgis. The last three years of life lead the Kingdom of Ikara.

1378. Jabon Aranahi a merchant from Ilian makes a Printing Press

The world is similar to the world of the early Renascence and the late medieval era with Farett being more like the christian Europe with the Church holding a great influence (Ilian is a exception) while the two southern countries of Suna is more like feudal Japan during it's periods of political instability and Ikara being a stable country with a strong ruler and military leader.

Farret has a colder climate with Mediterranean climate in the south and oceanic in the north. Only the inland between Farett Mountains and Yisten Ridge has continental climate. The mountains have their specific climate. Suna is mostly monsoonal with only the north of Ikara having more a Mediterranean climate.

Since both islands get a large amount of rain and have preferable climates forestation is dense and harvest are rich and plenty with one to three harvest each year, depending on the area and grain in question. Wildlife is abundant and diverse. Magical beings are also present.

The religion practiced on Farett is similar to Christianity but in it's center lies the legendary person Hian and it's called Hianisam.
In Suna the main religion, called Iwanisam, is a similar to Shinto with a more strong polytheistic point with many "larger" gods.
A widespread religion, but without many followers, is Alianisam which celebrates the great sky birds.

Magic is common and one can be born with or without magic abilities.
Humans share the land with many refugees from the mainland like elves, dwarves, centaurs, harpies and so on.

Suna Straight is traversed by ships, but with fighters abroad to repel potential attacks from the inhabitants of the sea.
Around half of the population is free citizens, a third is still serfs and the rest is made out of aristocracy, priests and other.
Guilds exist for almost every occupation and job.
