Just wanted to come out of my shell and introduce myself to the community for once. :) But where to start? :/ My given name is Patricia, but I prefer Pat, or you can even call me Finches, Finch, etc... I'm 19 years old and a freshman in college in SE Texas. :) Currently I'm going for graphic design~ Art as always been a passion of mine, and every since I was a young kid, I'd draw my own characters and put stories to their names, and even before then I had a character where I would always imagine their adventures in my head. Eventually soon after I started my drawing career, I discovered the amazing site know as Neopets. :) That's where I discovered I could put my character's stories together with other people's in something called role play. I had an amazing time in the few years I was with the Neopets role playing community, from 2008 to early 2010, where the community started to decline and role play became less and less. :(
So I've had a few one on one's in between, but every time my partner would randomly poof off the face of the planet, so I gave up on those, and for a year or so, role playing entirely. :/
Recently though, I've found I want to rekindle the flame I used to have. Writing stories with other people is fun, and more than half the time I made some amazing friends and memories, and also importantly, my writing skills grew, but sadly seemed to have declined over time. So hopefully I can get myself joining in on a few role plays here and having a good ol' time. ;)
On the side, I forgot to mention I LOVE the medieval fantasy genre. Wolf, Warriors, and stray dog used to be a big part of my life too, back in the day, but I've become more spread out in the genres I'm willing to try. But fantasy is usually a must for me in some form or fashion. :)
Welcome to the Guild, Pat. I hope you find plenty of RP to enjoy here. We have a few members who came here via neopets so you may find you know some of them. If you have any questions about how things are done around here just ask, plenty of helpful people around to answer. I do suggest you read this Guide just to see how things are set up just in case it is different from what you are used to. Let me know if I can be of any assistance. Happy RPing.
Welcome to the site, Pat.
