When you wake up and don't know where the f**k you are!

Ok here is the idea in a nutshell, your characters wake up and don't have a clue where they actually are. There will be adventure, tragedy and humour. I am hoping to make this an interesting and character driven RP where I push the story on based on your actions but also with a healthy dose of GM eye crack to keep things interesting.

The world will be ours but the action will be very much out of the ordinary. Your characters can literally be anything that you want them to be. I will accept a well written bank clerk over an uber powered soldier. The main idea is to have some fun with them. Your last memory will be of going to sleep in whatever your character thinks off as a bed. They will be whisked away and awake in a small wooded glade, until they explore that is all that they can tell. The strange thing is that they wake up with a few of their most precious items on them and they are dressed but they cannot remember how they got to be in the small wooded glade, or why they are there in the first place.

This will be a medium/high casual RP. I am not expecting people to post war and peace but a few descriptive paragraphs would be nice. I am being deliberately vague about the story line to keep everything a surprise for all of the roleplayers. I will not have a character in this and will be feeding off peoples actions and reactions.

hmm, I might be interested. Are you running it DnD style?

The main points will be that it will be set around our time, with our tech level but I will be adding a lot to it. I don't want to get people bogged down in a new world and just want to focus on the characters and their interactions.

Hey .... Looks like a fun idea. I am hesitating because of my time.

The idea isn't maybe flushed out but I've played with you and know you can offer exciting direction. But I might see how many you entice. You might get a few more hits if you maybe give more about what you see the adventure being, and why they wake up somewhere else.Is it somewhere else like go to bed in London and wake up in New York City, or go to bed in 1890 and wake up in 2012, or go to bed in The Shire and wake up in The Enterprise.

Good point thank you tirgesfu. I suppose I can flesh out the beginning bit and not reveal to much of what I have planned. I am basing this off of a success DnD game that I ran with friends a few years ago but with some tweeks.

This looks interesting, I'll check back to see how you've fleshed it out, but I'm up for it :)

Ok added a little more too it. I hope that gives you a better idea of what I have planned for this. I suppose it really can be catergorized as a 'survival RP' but without the usual heavy overtones of zombie that are common with Survival RPs.
