A Degrassi RP
For some reason, I've had an idea for a Degrassi themed rp buzzing around my head all day. I had been wanting to do a Harry Potter rp, but I don't like running those, I just like playing. Degrassi is a little more laid back so I'd be perfectly okay running something like that.
I'm thinking a free-story based Degrassi rp where we, as the writers, come up with the story as we move along.
If you've never seen the show, Degrassi is a high school set place in Toronto, Canada and has had every traumatic act possible to a teenager happen there just about. It can be quite a fun thing to work with, but I wanted to test the waters see if interests were up.
So? What ya think? Interested?

I'm interested. I've only seen the show a few times, but I've really been craving a laid back roleplay like this with plenty of opportunities for interesting storylines and drama.

I used to watch it awhile ago back with the original cast of Degrassi: The Next Generation, but you don't have to have seen the show in order to be apart of the rp. It's just where it's going to be set, it's going to be all original characters.

Great ^.^ it's a little different pace for me too, I think it'll be a lot of fun. I hope we get more, I really wanna do his one.
I'm up for the twists and drama's of a story coming out.

Are we gonna do it canon, as in characters from the series and/or their kids to be used as playable characters? If so, how many years after the current season would it be?

I was thinking we'd take it non-canon with some all new characters, although I'd be open to the idea siblings or relations to canon characters. I'd also be okay if like Mr. Simpson still worked there or something like that, but I want everyone to be real creative with their characters so that all new conflicts can come up.
