Plot:

In this world humans live in peace, in harmony with one another, But of course where there is light...there is also darkness…
There are many beings living in this world beside the humans, most of these beings disrupt the peace and harm innocent lives, but some of them coexist with the people and fight back against those who don't. by the vast amount of evil beings the balance between light and darkness is changing… in this world, there are also those who posses power, people with special abilities are able to fight back and create peace in this world, but not all people are the same… There are some who fight alongside the darkness…

In the land Japan in the far north in a city called Shibuya, Tokyo, there is a school where those with power go to. They train, learn new techniques and become stronger, all to become a ‘’Guardian’’…A Guardian is someone who has the power to fight against the darkness and who protect the lives inside this world. If someone has gained the title Guardian it means that person is able to protect the people of this world.

The school is called Gādian Academy, which exists for those with abillities. They learn how to control their power and become even stronger, some of course have their own reason’s too…

All over the world there are guild’s that exists of Guardians, a guild usually protect the land they are in and the citizens. There are also those who travel alone and deal with the problems on their journey.

There are bulletin boards everywhere where people can place wanted posters on or even requests that include rewards.

But besides that there are Guardians who have gone rogue, Guardians who abandon the light are also called a Fallen Guardian. Dark guilds exist as well but are very hard to find, but are also very dangerous.

Now a new year is beginning and many people come to Gādian Academy, the teachers are former Guardians who have retired and and decided that they wanted to teach the next generation.

The ranking system is under location's, it determinates your rank and how strong you are and of course how you can gain a higher rank. Note: you dont have to be a student there are other possibilities and if you have any suggestion feel free to speak up ! ^^

Gādian Academy:

Gādian Academy is located in the north of Shibuya,Tokyo. The school can be found on a private land which is surrounded by a gate, besides the gate there is a barrier as well to protect the school from attacks.

All those with abillities go to the school to become a Guardian and become stronger, the teachers exists of former Guardians who have retired and decided that they want to teach the next generation.

The students attent 3 years meaning that there are first years or Freshman, second years and seniors also known as the Third years. To enter the school everyone has taken a test, one that test your power, strength and intelligence.

On each floor of the school building are the classrooms located and where the people go, the first floor is for freshman, the second years the second floor and on the third floor there are the last year’s.

Example of classes: on the first floor there is class 1-F where the first year F-class go to and right above the second years.

All student’s are ranked by strength , there are of 7-classes and a total of 150 student’s :

F-class – They are the weakest and lowest of all.

E-class – Those who at least are able to fight back.

C-class – They have a chance to become stronger.

B-class – Who exists of people who have strong power’s.

A-class – Have people who are able to control there power’s better than the most and are quiete strong.

S-class – They are the strongest of the strongest, they have seperate class building only for them. The S-class are also called ‘’Knights’’

At the school everyone is ranked, F-class is from rank 150 to 121 , E-class 120 to 91 , D-class 90 to 71 , C-class 70 to 51 , B-class 50 to 31, A-class 30 to 11 and finally the S-class from 10 to 1.

On the school ground’s there is the large school itself where the classroom’s of class A to F are located. On the west side there is a special building where only the S-class are allowed to enter. On the east side there is a stadium located where most of the time events are happening.

Since everyone is ranked it is of course also possible to gain a higher rank, by competing with one another and battle. Everyone has a special wrist band that has your data and rank registered. It is also known as your Gaiden Schoolguide, they call it a ‘’G.S’’. It tell’s your rank, class schedule and upcoming events.

Besides increasing your rank through battle there are events and tournament people join to obtain a higher rank and get into a higher class.

There are bulletin boards near the school gate and inside the school, there are requests on them that the student’s are allowed to do from the school.

School-dorms:

The school dorms are located between the school and the city on the road which connects Shibuya and Gaiden Academy, the school-dorms is still on private land but closer to the city. Students can live in the school-dorms if they don't have their own place, the boy's dorm is at the beginning of the road that leads to the school and the girl's dorm is right next to the boys dorm in a separate building.

Once you are on the edge of the city and look left and right you see the buildings, but a few steps further on the road that leads to the school ....look left and right and there is a large open area. If you follow the road you'll come across the dorm on the side of the road and in the far distance further ahead the school self.

The dining hall is between the two dorms and are both connect to the dining hall by a hallway on each side of the room.

The dorm of the S-class is located on a separate area on the private land where the other dorms and the school are located.

Shopping district and train station:

The shopping district is located in the east of Shibuya, it is quiete large and all kinds of shops. From food to object , there are also special shops where people can buy ‘’unusual items’’. Items that are mostly used by special people.

There is a action building where most of the times people sell Rare items, most of the Guardians bring them and sell them at a high price. The auction building is also called the famous World Market, there are a few located in most of the big cities in the world.

All over the shopping district there are bulletin boards located as well but you can usually find them pretty much everywhere, on roads, forests, deserts, villages really everywhere.

The train station is located just in the outskirt of Shibuya but is still Shibuya grounds, alot of traveleres come each day and sometimes even people who have business. But mostly Guardians travel by train to get to there next destinations.

Sōdaina mori:

Sōdaina mori is a large forest located in the outskirt’s of Shibuya,Tokyo, inside the forest there are many wild creatures who some are quiete dangerous. Not many people enter the forest unless they are escorted by a Guardian.

They call the forest also the Grand Forest because there are 4 being’s which rule the forest:

The king of the forest which rules the north of the large forest Morinoo-Sama , he is a large lion like creature who posses immense speed and strength.

The ruler of the of the mountain’s Futan , a enourmous bear who has a strong fur which is hard to pierce through.. His territory is in the east where there are mostly mountains.

The lord of the sea Akua , a large Sea Serpent that moves through the river’s and lives inside the large lake in the center of the forest.

The watches of the sky Karasu , a large lightning phoenix with black feather’s who lives at between the clouds on top of the large tree that is located in the west of the forest

The Lost Fortress:

A lost city in complete ruines, the building’s destroyed and the streets in rips. This forsaken city is infested with demon’s and is forbidden to enter because it is the territory of one of the five demon lord’s.

Yasei no Sabaku:

A large desert which belongs to Sasori the king of the sand, he is the protecter of a temple that is located somewhere in the desert. Inside the temple there is a ancient and powerfull weapon.

The territory Sasori is forbidden but the rest of the desert belong to the people, there are a couple of villages located in the desert.

Tengoku no keimusho a.k.a Heaven’s Prison:

A large prison on a floating island in the sky, the prison is guarded by the Celestial Guardian’s of this world.

This island is hard to find because it hides between the clouds and changes locations between seasons.

On the floating island there is a large tower known as the Tower Of Heaven where those who have a commited great sins or are sentanced to death are put in the Tower of Heaven for punishment.

Every student has a G.S device , it is a device wrapped around your wrist which can tell you upcoming events, tournaments , your class schedules and of course what the ranks are of everyone. It also has a map of the school and the city, also the areas just outside the city are registered in the G.S.

The G.S is also used to sent challenges to the other person if you want to do a Rank battle to get a higher rank, the G.S is a helpful device to use.

First Arc : The Beginning.

A month has past now since a new school year has started but now it finally begins, the road to becoming a Guardian. After one month the second years are going to take mission's which the school will pick for them, after the mission is cleared all the seconds years are able to take solo or team requests on the bulletin boards.

Five students will be teamed up in each class and will be guided by a 3rd year student, the 3rd year student's job is to supervise and keep an eye on the team so that the mission will be a success. But that doesn't mean that there weren't any mistakes made....some have failed which some ended up injured and some were fatal.

The first students are 5 students of F-class who will be guided by: Eidren Tassar

The Demonic blade: Muramasa

The legend is that this weapon is cursed, once unsheated the blade cannot be sheeted unless it has tasted blood. But they say that who ever wields the blade will kill anything on his path and one's the wielder is unable to find anything to cut .....than the blade will taste the wielder's blood causing the blade to be once more sheeted until the next person wields the blade.

The trident: Kongō

A trident-shaped staff which emits a bright light in the darkness, and grants wisdom and insight. The staff belonged originally to the Japanese mountain god Kōya-no-Myōjin.

The legendary sword: Kusanagi

Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi is a legendary Japanese sword and one of three Imperial Regalia of Japan. It was originally called Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi "Sword of the Gathering Clouds of Heaven" but its name was later changed to the more popular Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi ("Grass Cutting Sword").

The location of the Muramasa is in the far north of Sōdaina mori, the grand forest which is located in the outskirts of Shibuya, to enter the forest you will need to enter from the south side but be careful. Many creatures roam around who are posses great strength though they are nothing compared to the Emperor's of the Forest.

The location of the trident Kogo is located in the east inside the mountains and is guarded by the current ruler Futan, somewhere in the mountain there is a open area surrounded by just rocks where Futan rest's and where the Kogo is as well.

And finally the Kusanagi is in the west where the great tree of the Grand forest is, it is high at the top and it will be hard to climb to find the Kusanagi. Off course it is dangerous besides the heavy winds and flying creatures who roam around.

The mission will start once the Headmaster has announced the teams. Good luck...you'll need it.

Uniforms: For the males a black pants, white shirt and dark blue jacket. For the females it a light colored blue blouse, white skirt and white knee socks which matches the colors nicely.

Student ( Also known as a Gaiden): A student is someone who attents Gāiden Academy.

Knight: One of the top ten ranked S-class student’s.

Teacher (Retired Guardian): A former Guardian who has decided to teach, most of them are retired but some just take a break.

Headmaster: The Headmaster of Gāiden Academy who watches over the student’s.

Student Council and Punishment force

Student council President: The student council president is represent the student’s and keep order in the school and reports to the Headmaster.

Vice-president: To keep order at meetings, to assist the president, and become acting president in the event the president cannot fulfill their duties. Usually the V.P. is in charge of overseeing project commitees and appointing chairpersons

Secretary: Someone who take notes and plan meetings and get to do announcements!

Treasurer: The treasurer keeps track of funds.

Reporter: They simply visit student council meetings, take notes on what happens, then reports it back to the classroom.

Captain of Punishment Force: The leader of the punishment force, the Punishment Force keeps peace on school ground’s and punishes does who disrupt the peace. The Captain gives his judgement on does who are suspected.

Vice-Captian: The Vice Captain assist’s the Captain and help’s with dealing out punishment. Most of the time the Vice-Captain goes on patrol and keeps an eye out for things.

Brawler: The Brawler deal’s with the conflict, if the suspect resists and attack’s the Brawler is allowed to take action and take out the target.

Defender: When someone is put into custody the Defender keeps watch and guard’s the suspect.

Punisher: The punisher thing’s of punishment’s for those who deserve it and is allowed to determain the level of punishment.

After Graduating

Guardian: A Guardian is someone who has the power to protect this world, A guardian has the abillity to change the balance in the world.

Guild Master: The leader of a guild, most guild’s exist of Guardian’s some have being’s joining them. If someone wants to have a guild than they would need alot of money for it.

Guild Member: A member who is part of a guild and is a valuable member.

Fallen Guardian: A former guardian who has fallen into the darkness.

Hunter: A hunter mostly hunt’s after treasures and wanted criminals.

Ruler: A ruler is someone who has his own territory.

Demon Lord: A demon lord is chosen by the Demon King, a demon lord own’s a land and is the ruler over all the being’s inside the land. There are 5 Demon lords in Total.

Slayer: A slayer is someone who specializes in slaying down and hunting after it’s target, all slayer’s are different . Some are only able to take down a few races but some are strong enough to take down even the strongest creatures.

Celestial Guardian: A celestial guardian is a Guardian of the sky, they have the right to imprison those who have commited sin’s or crimes.

Celestial King: The Celestial King is the ruler of the Heaven Prison, he is allowed to place Judgement on those who have commited sin’s or crimes.

Spirit King: The spirit king, a powerfull leader who control’s all the spirit in this world. When one enters the spirit world either if your still alive or death the spirit king has the power to either send you towards the heaven’s or Hell.

Demon King: The Demon King is the king of Hell and all demon’s, he is a powerfull opponent but if one beats the Demon King he or she gain’s the title and becomes the new ruler.

Demon Knight: The Demon Knight is the right hand man of the Demon King, the demon knight is higher ranked than a Demon lord and is has the power to slay down anyone who opposes him or the demon king.

Personality: A cold but calm one, a boy surrounded in mystery...not showing much emotion most of the time it is hard to know what he thinks. There are not many people he is bonded with but he will protect those close to him no matter what.

Demonic soul: Since birth Zanku was born with a unusual powerful soul, but after his soul got devoured by Kuryoshu it got affected and sealed off his immense energy. When the two soul's separated Zanku's soul became different becoming a demonic soul but was in a sleeping-state, but when the two became one again the seal broke and awakened the Demonic soul. Zanku uses the energy and power of his demon half and use it as his own.

Intimidation: Intimidation (威嚇 Ikaku) is a technique used by powerful fighters. It projects a person's "aura" or "fighting spirit". This spirit takes the shape of some large, fearsome creature, unique to each person and is often reflecting their own personality. Intimidation is often used as a means to try to scare the opponent, which can cause them to run away or literally get frozen in place by fear.

Using intimidation to scare an opponent will only work if the opponent is significanly weaker than the user but it can also be used to startle many powerful fighters. Intimidation is less effective on those who have the "resolve" to put their lives on the line.

Hidden: Not many people know what he is, Zanku keeps his presence hidden and the strength of his power...no one know's what his limit is yet due to the hiding of his power and what he exactly is...Because of this he was placed in the F-class.

Techniques: It will be all revealed in time...


Weapon: Zanku's Blade - He can summon this blade by using the energy around him, of the earth and air. He grabs infront of him the energy and let it take shape, than he draws the blade like one who unsheath there weapon to reveal it. The energy will gather and take shape into the form of his blade, the blade is the same size as the boy himself.

A Long time ago there was a demon called Kuryoshu, a fearless demon who had a will of it's own. The demon was sick of the law's and rules and went beserk, The demon wiped a lot of demon's while being in Hell. The demon got sealed away in a different world, a world filled with emtyness. The demon devoured the souls of those who were sent to the emptiness. When the demon gathered enough souls he would be able to break free and enter the human world. He would devour the soul of a unborn child who's soul is similar to the demons soul itself.Zanku was born in a town called Hachijo.

His father knew that the demon would try to devour his soul, he used a seal to seperate the demon from Zanku's soul. The seal activated the moment the two souls became one and than separated, But because of the separating his mother got ill those were the side-effects of the seal. The demon half was born back into Hell . His mother, Matsuri Yazuka was sick because of when he was born, 3 years later her condition got worse. She got pregnant and gave birth to a childa new child, She called the child Misaki Yazuka, after the birth she died . Their father Michino Kazuya disappeared right after Misaki's birth leaving Zanku alone .

He took good care of his little sister , when he was 5 years old and Misaki turned 2 years the town got attacked by Kuryoshu The demon escaped from Hell and was in the human world searching from Zanku, the demon destroyed half of the town creating chaos . Zanku told his younger sister to hide and he ran outside the house to draw the demons attention , when he was running from the demon he fell down, the demon slowly approached him. The demon looked at him and said:''You and i are the same'' When the demon spoke and said these those words he screamed out loud because he out of fear , but something reacted to the scream it was like a call for help , something inside him awakened.

A Circle of Light had appeared and was surrounding the boy and the demon , then light created a sphere around him and the demon. A voice spoke to him''I Will Make You Become One With Again.'' Out of his body chains were unleashed that connected with the demon , the demon was pulled inside Zanku's body and the sphere dissapeared , The demon and he became one again, after that strange phenomenon he passed out. When he woke up he thought that the demon was gone, but he did not know he became one with the demon again.

The people were rebuilding the damage that the demon caused , but as time past on the boy had finally realized that he and the demon were once one again . After 5 years all the kids where attacking him the people of the town were simply the boy and his younger sister, he was all alone with Misaki. People didn't took care of them and other kids bullied them, but after time past once more something unforgivable happened ..... Zanku finally started to notice that he gained power, but he lost control when Misaki got hurt , a few kids were bullying her and pushed her down on the ground... Zanku was filled with anger because the children hurt it his younger sister...so the childeren who attacked Misaki got payback.

Zanku lost his senses and turned into a demonic creature, He was ready to kill the kids but Misaki stand it up as she saw his brother and ran infront of him ,she told him to stop. But in this state everyone in his way was a enemy.... Zanku pierced his claw through her stomach and pulled her up, she cried and told him ... ''Sorry''... sorry that she couldn't protect him from his demon half and prevent this from happening , she knew that the demon was sealed within him. Their father appeared once infront of her and told her about Zanku and the demon Kuryoshu .

A tear of her slide it down her cheek and fell down on his face, the tear of his younger sister made him regain control, and he turned back into his orginal form. His arm was out of her stomache and she fell down on the ground simply laying their in blood....once he regained all his senses he saw his younger sister laying there covered in blood, he wrapped his arms around her and holded her close to him...he cried but even at her last breath she simply smiled...once her eye closed he screamed out her name and Misaki.....died. He moved away and lived with his grandparents, his grandfather had trained his grandson over the years and now... Zanku has left his grandparents and gone to Shibuya,Tokyo.

Personality: Kokoro seems distant almost constantly, no matter the situation. Sometimes she'll converse with herself about a situation, other times she will simply stare off into space. This is partially to feign ignorance... and partially due to the unique state of her mind. She is kind, but also shows no real abhorrance for conflict.

Power: Awakened Chi, Fragmented Mind

Kokoro's mind was shattered at some point or another, causing her thoughts to be completely scattered and her mind itself nigh-impossible to manipulate. She was at one point nominated for Knight status, but turned it down... and has not been nominated ever since the unknown tragedy that caused her significant mental trauma. She has since been unable to perform any major techniques whatsoever, but also is nearly impossible to affect her mind through torture or other means. She has also forgotten a few of her more potent abilities as a result of her mind fracturing. It is unknown if she will ever be able to relearn them. While she does retain much of her conscious ability... her attention span and knowledge are still fairly broken. Should she ever fully regain her capacity, she will likely be nominated as a Knight once again.

Description: Kokoro temporarily regains control over her mind, granting her some enhancement to the power of her techniques, but retaining her resistance to mind-altering effects. She also is able to lessen the chi cost of her attacks by a fair amount (50%) due to her mind fully comprehending them once more. It is only a temporary thing, however... lasting a few minutes at most. ( or a 6 post maximum )
Weakness: After this technique's duration is spent, Kokoro's mind is further broken. This increases her chi costs further and lessens her focus, but further increases her resistance to mind-altering techniques. Description: Kokoro charges an amount of chakra into her fist or foot and slams it directly into the ground, creating a large crater. After this attack is used, the ground affected by it becomes highly unstable and difficult to move over. It may also be used against a building or other earth/stone-based structure to cause significant destruction to said structure.

Should it hit, the foe is sent flying upward or backward with the force of the blow... as well as suffering additional damage from the lightning.

Weakness: This technique also repels Kokoro from her foes, should she try to attack them... rendering her useless in melee.

They will suffer strange dreams, reduced abilities in all skills and techniques, inability to perform illusions or major special techniques, and a general lack of concentration.

Kokoro was a kind child, always helping her neighbors and family. It was actually for this reason that she asked her family to pay for her entry into the local Gaidan Academy. She wanted to help everyone she knew... and the training there would allow her to do just that. Thankfully, her family had been saving money for her to get better schooling anyways, and allowed the young girl to enter the academy. They knew she would do well, for her drive to aid others was strong, indeed. And so it was that young Kokoro enrolled in the Academy, at the tender age of Twelve.

Two Years Later, Kokoro had completed her initial classes at the Academy. He grades were fairly average in most subjects and she wasn't a major standout. But regardless of her mediocrity, she had done it. She had proven she could be a good guardian. And so she continued on with her training and eventually graduated. It was the proudest moment of her life. Her family and friends were there, and held a big celebration in her honor after the ceremony. She couldn't be happier.

Three Years After Graduation... One of the Knights assigned Kokoro and a friend of hers a mission. But what happened next... broke the girl's spirit and mind. The two were sent on a recon mission in a swamp near the borderlands of their nation... and blundered right into a trap. Set by a group of mercenaries... unemployed mercenaries... led by a Fallen Guardian. They captured the two women and initially held them for ransom. However... the city refused to pay the brigands... and the women were left to rot. She and her sister-in-arms were bound day and night... forced to endure the bandits' indecencies. ... but Kokoro swore she would endure

Time passed, and Kokoro stopped fighting back... having accepted that she was going to die in that place. Her friend did not give up... initially. But then she found herself carrying the child of one of the bandits... unsure even as to which one had fathered it, due to the frequent assaults. "Kokoro... don't let me do this alone... come with me. We won't hurt anymore..." said the girl as she lifted up the rusty knife the brigands allowed them to use to cut their food with. "Hikari... what are you..." Kokoro's words got caught in her throat as her long-time friend plunged the pointed blade into her own stomach. "You... d..." the girl winced in pain, then forced the blade sideways... severing arteries, damaging muscles and organs, and killing her unborn child. Kokoro didn't even scream... she was so horrified by the site that she couldn't do anything... she could hardly even breathe.

Hikari looked up at her, a weak smile on her face as the light faded from her eyes. "Kokoro... thank y... you... for st..." she could not complete her sentence... for the damage to her body was too great. On seeing the still-warm corpse of her friend... Kokoro finally managed to scream in terror. Naturally their captors came running... but once they saw the scene, they showed a blatant disgust for both the dead girl and Kokoro. All Kokoro could do was continue screaming and sobbing, until one of the men smashed a bottle against the back of her head, knocking her out cold. She awoke some time later, bound to a tree and stripped of her clothing... but with no bandits to be found. It seemed they had left her there, beaten and humiliated... to die. But Kokoro would endure...

Ten Years Later... Kokoro had not forgotten the terrible thing that had so shattered her life... but she was trying to move on. Her skills had not progressed very much in the past few years, her mind was a scattered mess, her skill with chi control had actually diminished... and she had forgotten a number of techniques altogether. She was now relegated to the non-combat role of an Instructor. Despite the trauma, she had still retained a fair amount of her intellect and skill in combat, and was therefore fit to instruct new recruits and students. And so it was... Kokoro had found a new role in life.

She still found time to work on her skills, even developing a couple of new ones based on her unusual mental state... but the concepts of change in form and nature were fargone enough from her that no new ELEMENTAL techniques were able to be developed. She did retain a few of the Lightning techniques that she had before the trauma... but for the most part, she kept her focus now on close combat and trying to regain her mind.
