Angelfall (A Post-Apocalyptic World with Angels)

Since the year 2025, angels have came down from the heavens to rid the world of humans, who were tainting the Earth with their constant war. The angels have taken over the world, and have decided to claim it for themselves. Most of the angels hate humans, and consider them filth, roaches that need to be exterminated, like they did with the Nephilim so many years ago. However, there are some angels who have been cast out from the rest of the angels because of their bonding with a human. Some angels have been chosen to watch over and guard over certain chosen humans that are destined to end the corruption. They form this partnership called "bonding." Once an angel and a human are bound, they cannot stray far from each other, and they can hear each others thoughts.

Races:

The angels are considered the pure ones. Their wings often consist of a pure white color, however, some wings can be a different color, like cream or gold. All of them are gorgeous, and have no imperfections whatsoever. They are called the sons and daughters of God.

Fallen angels were once angels, but due to their sins or "falling out," they have become impure. Most of them are still gorgeous in appearance, however, their wings are often ugly and ragged. All of their wings are black. They necessarily tend to stay away from the other angels, considering if they are seen by one, they will be killed on sight. Some of them can even have bonds with humans. The fallen angels who are bonded with humans are destined to become guardian angels, therefore having a second chance to redeem themselves of their past sins. They are called the children of Satan.


Humans were meant to be God's perfect creations. However, due to their imperfections, they are no longer deemed worthy. Unlike the angels, humans have many flaws. Some of them are destined to have a guardian angel, and become bonded with either an angel or a fallen angel. Many humans have found sanctuaries and shelters where they could hide in safety, like abandoned buildings and supermarkets.

~Bonding~

An angel doesn't necessarily chose which human they bond with, it just happens. Once an angel sees the person they will become bonded with, its like they will do everything to protect them just by instinct. A bonding becomes permanent once an angel and their human bond hold hands. A kind of mark, or some sort of tattoo appears on their wrist, and after that they are bonded for life.

They will be able to hear each others thoughts. They can't stray too far from each other, or they will feel a painful headache. The most they can be apart is about five miles at most.

Alliances:

Good guys: Humans who are considered the chosen ones, by forming a bond with either an angel or a fallen angel. They are destined to end the corruption of the Earth. Later on, all of the angels and fallen angels who have bonded with a human will form a group in order to provide more protection for the humans from the other angels.

Neutral: Basically the rest of the humans who aren't bonded with an angel are considered neutral. Their only concern is to provide shelter for themselves and fight off the angels.

Bad guys: The angels who aren't bonded with a human, and want to rid the world of them. They hate humans.

Angel or Fallen Angel: Angel

History: Amara has been an angel almost as long as the archangels, Uriel and Gabriel have. She’s always been particularly close with them, since she always went wherever they went. She was the most loyal angel by far, always doing as she was told. She did some terrible things that she wasn’t particularly fond of, but she did it because it was her job to do so. In the past thousand years she has lived, she has encountered many deaths, tragedy, and sadness. The day she was cast out from the angels, because she felt what they were doing was wrong, Uriel became terribly upset, even more so than Gabriel. He held a certain hatred for her leaving the angels, since she had been one of his longtime friends. She tried to convince him that there was still some good in humans, but he turned her away.

Personality: Amara is usually seen to be emotionless and depressed most of the time because of her past. However, there is some kindness and emotion in her heart, but deep inside. If someone she cares about is in danger, she will risk everything to protect that person without realization. She has a habit of seeing the best in others, even when they can't see it themselves. She's very creative, and has a habit of getting lost in thought.

Special Ability: The ability to know people's feelings and control them.

Name: Jack Rinner

History: after the Angels attacked and killed his entire family. Jack swore that he would kill every last angel he saw. Even going as far as making a deal with the devil himself. Promising his soul to him as long as he can give him the means to destroy every last Angel attempting to "cleanse" the land.

The devil responded by setting Jacks hands on fire. The demonic voice echoed in his head "let the burning flame of vengence in your heart, be the very tool to grant your desire. Go forth slayer of angels."
The voice stopped but the flames in his hands did not. Able to bend and control his flame by sheer force of will. He vowed to use those hands to send every angel to hell.

Somewhat of a villain app.

Demon

Name: King Ghidorah
Gender: Male
Age: Unknown
Real Age: Unknown
History: Ghidorah is one of the few demons sent to fight the demons in the name of hell. In hell he was a mighty king of one of the sectors of hell. He ruled with an iron fist and made sure the sinners were punished. As soon as the angels descended he was informed. He was equipped with futuristic armor to match with his metallic drill arms which protected his also metallic but weak hands. He has lived in hiding on the surface for many years waiting until he knew he was at full power, before he was sent up all he did was sit on his throne all day and watch the 'day' or the thing closest to a day in hell pass.

He grew up in the wastelands of hell to royalty or whatever you would call the blokes in charge of a baron wasteland filled with eternally tortured people. As a child Ghidorah never understood why they needed to be punished but as he grew older he saw why. Most of the people who were punished had committed crimes against common morality. Over the years he has gotten used to seeing torture and is unneffected by gore anymore all it does is displease him in someway. He stopped talking very much after he had to decide the fate of a small boy who had stolen food for himself in a country where harsh punishments are given out like candy. The boy was beaten to death and for his crime was sent to hell.

History: David has grown up in a world gone to chaos. His family broke apart after his mother died soon after childbirth and his father drank himself into an early grave. David was left providing for his little sister Allison so that she never went hungry. They move around a lot because staying in one place too long creates nothing but trouble. Along the way, David has taken in many orphans from the streets, grooming them and providing for them. He even has managed to teach them the basics of writing and math. Sometimes, he even tells them stories that he's heard from his mother. Allison is turning twelve soon and she and the other children want to stay put this time. Their newest home is an abandoned building that used to be an apartment complex. They've made themselves a small community and everyone participates in the keep up of the building. Some of the children help clean, some cook and some do repairs. Some of them are David's age or a little older but most are young. Still, they've fixed a good home with a sturdy roof and David is hopeful that this could become their new home, though he is always watching out for potential dangers. [Anyone else who wants to be human is totally able to join this home. ^^]

Personality: David is a cautious person with eyes that have seen the worst humanity has to offer, but because of the relationship between him and his little sister, he hasn't given up hope yet. He dreams of a better world for all the little children on the streets. Because of his dreams, he is usually cheerful though he's always wary of strangers. David is also very charitable, always willing to give up what he has so that others can live better. He can never turn anyone down who asks for help.

Name: Nathalie Deadeye (she gave up her former family name)

Age: 18
History: Nathalie was born in a small human community, and was drafted at an early age into the militia. She learned how to fight, but is not an expert. She lived in this community, not interacting much with people, just hearing the head of the militia rant on how angels were murderous unkillable bastards, and needed to be kept away at all costs. She did not interacted much with people, but tried to do her best to protect her commuity. One day, she was send on a recon mission, and was attacked by a bunch of raiders. She could not defeat them, and would have been killed, if it wasn't for the intervention of an angel. Scared, she reflexively shot a bolt at it, yet it was clear it was useless. The angel was not hostile though. It told her that her help was needed to redeem humankind, but the conversation was interrupted when Nathalie received a bolt to the stomach. The shooter was her father, an older militia member. The angel grabbed her and healed her with it's powers. In less than 1 hour, she was saved twice by the same angel. It was something weird... The angels were supposed to be murderers in her world, yet she was saved by one... She was willing to listen. The angel thought that as long as humankind would still be at war there would be no redemption for them, and as such the angels whom rule the Earth would feel justified in killing all of them. The only to save humankind way would be to end their constant infighting, and since humans distrusted angels, an intermediary was needed. And Nathalie was the only one that angel found whom was willing to listen, and it searched for quite a few years. Nathalie accepted the bonding, but knew that she couldn't go back to her community now... So she gave up her old surname, and took Deadeye to replace it.

Personality: Quiet, cold blooded, and observant, Nathalie would be a perfect sniper if she received an appropriate training. She isn't emotionless, far from it, but since she almost never had real social interaction with people, she has to force herself to show emotions. She likes being with people, but doesn't really knows how to deal with them. Still, she would risk her life to protect humankind, and can benefit from the angel's social experience to try to be more persuasive.
