computer nerd assistance
My computer makes this horrendous buzzing noise on start up, but it quiets down to near silent once it's been on for like 3 minutes. I looked at the fans inside and it looks like it's the CPU fan, but it could the case fan I have but I have no idea. Any suggestions as to what it might be? I tried to clean out the dust as best I could but there's still some in there but I don't think it would be causing this kind of noise :\

Clean it out like it was a clearance sale.

Try removing the fan and the processor and clean it again. If the cleaning is not working, you may have to get yourself a new fan.
Use Speedfan to see if anything is overheating.
You might just have to tighten the screws to the fan more.

.....You know what this calls for?
NEW COMPUTER!
errr...no.
As Christie said, remove the fan if you can to clean it. you may also want to throw a drop of oil on the spindle, which should be accomplished by taking the sticker off the back of the fan's motor housing, and tossing a drop of light oil in the hole.
If that don't fix it, make sure all of the Heat Sink's clips, or screws are locked in/tightened.
Failing that, find out of the size of the fan, and get a new one. Though, if it's a stock Intel HSF, it may be hard as hell to just find the fan. So you might need a new HSF combination.

Seems pretty ordinary to me.
My laptop starts melting after it's been used for more than five minutes. *That's* a problem.

Most computers start doing that when they start up.
At least, most computers I use.
Because I only use really old computers.
