A rough gathering of note for a fantasy slice of life adventure RP.
There exists a school for Sorcerers that teaches you to hone magic through the use of magical arrows and combined alchemy. The school is famed and houses many scrolls for advanced teaching. Our heroes will be on the cusp of graduating after having majored in a Heavy Element and minoring in a Light Element. Heavy Elements include: Fire, Wood, Ice, and Rock. Light Elements include: Lightning, Water, Poison, and Wind. To summon beasts or to combine elements, you must use special arcane Alchemy. Upon graduation, our characters will be branded with the choosing of his/her Major and Minor, they will also be given special Arrows to preform magic, these arrows will be branded with the same mark that is on their bodies. In doing so, it makes sure no one else can steal your items, attack you with your own element and ensures a bond for life with your practice. Our first chapter will involve our characters (ages 20-21 so Third and Fourth Years) getting to know one another, they will develop a bond and by the end of the chapter, they will have known each other for roughly a year or so. Chapter two will begin with a break in at their academy in which a devious clan tries to rob the school after dark. Our characters will be on grounds for other reasons and are the only one who can fend the school from the inside.
After saving (or not, should the tide turn deadly) the scrolls, the group has decided to travel around and offer their services of protection and fighting to other areas of the fantasy world. Along the way they discover new secrets about the land and their companions.
So, just some ideas at the moment, this roleplay is supposed to more light hearted with a touch of magic and technical skill. I will pose an option for anyone and say that there could be some time travel involved to make it sci-fi down the road if people are interested. It's also possible this is all just some online RPG that our characters could get sucked into but too many cliches will spoil the pot. Either way, a need for a small (3-5 player) RP to induce heavy character development and classic fantasy travel and hijinks. Anyone game?
