The Irregulars -- A Livestream Study Group
welcome to the group
This is the home of The Irregulars, a group centered around improving their art through doing studies together.
All skill levels are accepted, but frequent updating is a must -- This group is a serious one and targeted towards improving, which means members have to be willing to work!
If you want to join, post in the thread and I'll add you to the roster. If you have your own sketchbook thread on here, I'll also link it in the main post, so that people can check out your other work (that's not necessarily centered around the studies you're doing here).
The group will meet (almost) every day on Livestream (hosted by Sherlock Holmes) to do studies together. You don't have to come to every session to be a part of the group, but if you do any studies, please post them in this thread so that they can still be commented / critiqued by other group members.
Any and all comments made on the studies of others are to be constructive in nature, not rude.
(Being rude will not be tolerated in the slightest.) All opinions are valid, but you should be able to back up any critiques so that they are helpful to the recipient.
If you'd like a specific aspect of a piece critiqued, be sure to let others know.
(If you know there's an area you're having trouble with on a piece or would like other opinions on, say so -- that way advice/comments can be tailored to suit the situation and be more effective/efficient.)
When posting graphics, please make sure they're a reasonable size.
(Nothing so tiny that the work is hard to see, nothing massive so that the viewer has to scroll forever to see the whole thing.)
If you're going to be away for an extended period of time, please let Holmes know. (So that it's not assumed you've abandoned the group.)
