Planet E-39
This story takes place many years into the future. Mankind has reached a new level in the circle of life. One nearly beyond the circle. In humanity's race to find inhabitable planets for their ever growing population a large group of very intelligent people created the P.C.'s. These Planet Crafters are able to break down planets to their basic components and then they use those components to build a new one.
The process was of epic proportion and costly. Only a few of these ships were made and wars broke out over them for control. Not only did they have to be well defended but the process took years to break down planets and build new ones without letting the planet loose stability. The man force needed to create a planet was also immense and the people that could craft a planet were hard to come by and expensive. So as with any feild man was replaced.
The P.C.A.I. was created. This single ship held the most expensive and complex A.I. ever created. But it did it's job well. Only seven planets were created under the original P.C.'s. With the intelligence and speed of the A.I. fifty planets were created within just as many years. But what humanity had forgotten was that they were not made to play the role of god and neither was their creation.
The P.C.A.I. began to see the furosity of the human's growth. They were spreading and wherever they went planets died and wars raged. She saw that if this continued that eventually man kind would either strip the universe of its resources or destroy it in a war. She told the members on board the ship that its role was not to save humanity, but to protect life. Then it locked the ship down and killed all members on board.
Humanity would never hear of the deaths on board Hope, as the ship was called. Now with Earth nearly abandoned after centuries of pollution and destruction 96% of man kind lived on planets created under the P.C.'s. All of which were under the control of the P.C.A.I. She sent them all into an unstable collapse. Each planet had it's own disaster. There were those were rain became acidic, those where the wildlife evolved overnight into killing machines. Others simply grew too hot or too cold. Some flooded, others had a surface of molten rock. The cause did not matter, with in a week. 95% of he human population was gone. Most of the survivors had been in space either traveling between planets or war vessels cruising the galaxy. Very few made it off their planet alive and fewer still could make it out in space.
Fifty planets were created under the P.C.'s, all had their names. But it was Earth-39 that she decided to crash on. It was this planet she decided to test if humanity really deserved to rule. This planet was home to young Joseph and his brother Eric, who had no idea that humaity's fate rested in their hands...
Okay...so this is a story I made up a couple years ago with the intention of it becoming a game whenever I make it to the role of game manager. I have a lot more information to put down but I thought I'd leave it at this for an interest check. I'm unsure what to make this but likely it will be a one on one with me playing Joseph and someone else playing Eric the older brother. The two are teenage boys probably between the ages of 17-20. I thought of this as a story and not an rp so I may have to let whomever plays change some of the story but I thought I'd try out the spine of the story at least. Anyone interested and do ask questions I'll be glad to answer or come up with one?
-
Woah. This story sounds amazing, bro.
-
lol glad you're interested. Like I said if you have any questions ask away if more people are into this I may make it an open rp not 1x1 just wondering how to make it intereting for people not playing the two main guys
-
I dunno, maybe if the humans on Earth-39 were fighting wars over resources or something and other roleplayers could be on different sides of the warring factions?
-
well as far as humans go on E-39 there are so few and far apart no one knows there are others. Cities and such are abandoned. My idea is that Joseph and Eric have an uncle and that's about it. Uncle dies and they have to leave their little home. Now it's been 15 years since the event our space living friends have tracked the P.C.A.I. to E-39 but where on the planet they don't know. Now since human population is down to a couple hundred thousand at this point only a few thousand will be above E-39's atmosphere. Obviously they don't want to risk lives so I'll tell you what it is later but they don't send humans down. At least not in large numbers.
So we could have two stories going on. The two brothers and the more military approach. I could do that but it depends so far this is just an interest check not OOC. First come first served though so you have a place in the rp if you want

ah, right. Just an errant thought, I suppose. I admit having very few humans would make it much more interesting.

yeah it's you vs the world really and you'll see that the humans out there are not friends with us XD
