The Land of Adther is an enormous land ruled over by the Silver Hand Empire. And while things in the Empire are prosperous there are many creatures and beasts that come from the forests, swamps, caves, and mountains and attack Silver Hand patrols, Trade Caravans, Travelers, And the bigger ones even attack Towns. With the local guards not being able to handle these creatures the Silver Hand has created "The Order of Hunters" a group who is commissioned by the Silver Hand to eliminate Creatures who are deemed a threat to the populous.

1. Respect your other players, this Is going to be a collaborative effort so everyone has to get along

5. Try to keep active at least 1 post every 3 days. first offense if we are waiting on you will be injury and return to camp, If trend continues (without a heads up of something is happening) character will be killed. Remember this is random I don't feel like posting absences if you haven't post in a week and see you were online 5 minutes ago and haven't told us anything that is when this comes in.
As I said this will be collaborative meaning everyone will have their input. Once we return to our base camp there will be a "mission board" of sorts that anyone who has an idea of a monster to hunt in a scary cave or whatever (these will be posted on OOC) And then votes will be taken on which mission we should take first, All missions will be handled eventually, Unless the poster of the mission PM's me and says take it down. Then that mission will be handled by a different group of hunters. If you post a mission you will be in control of that mission's monsters and story development (unless otherwise asked or if you bail on us I will take control of them)
Combat will be on an Action Reaction system. Where one person will post their actions be it an attack with a bear then must wait for other person to react with parry, dodge, counter, or take the hit, fallowed by their next action of fight or run and such. There will be no Auto hitting unless as i said earlier you go beyond the time limit without giving a proper reason. Even monsters get a chance to react but if you control the monsters be reasonable a wolf won't beat a trained soldier it will hold its own for some time, but you eventfully have to let it take the hit and die. I mean its our job to kill all the Beasts and Creatures after all.

Name: Norrack Tankwall
Weapon of Choice: Pol-arms, axes
Personality: Hard headed and blunt takes it to the extreme when it comes to physical strength and endurance. Focuses mainly on combat training and skill coming from a strong militant back ground. Prides himself on being an armored wall of strength and willpower and will be the first onto a battle field and the last to leave.
History: Norrack comes from a long line of Knights who severed in the Military of The Silver Hand Empire. He followed in the footsteps of his farther and fathers father as a knight of pure strength and endurance, he eventually made a name for himself as being Norrack the Armored Wall when he would always take the brunt of an enemy charge being the first on the field of battle and being the last to leave. He has a long record of being saving many of his platoon by holding off an enemies advances buying time for regrouping and being e battering ram that pushes an enemy force back. It was until his unit was sent into an ambush against an unknown force where his entire unit was wiped out by a monsters that nearly killed him now he has dedicated his life to slaughtering those that slaughtered his brothers in arms.
Flandre stands at a 5'3, weighing only about 130 lbs. Thought short, her legs are somewhat long and she has a rather childish body shape, making her seem younger then she actually is. Her skin is pale and soft and easily burnt from the sun or damaged, making her take somewhat of a pride in trying to cover it up. Her face is round and her eyes are wide, burning with the intensity of fire when excited. Her red hair falls over her eyes and shoulders, reaching down to her mid back in wavy locks. She normally dresses in elegant reds, golds, and blacks and she is always seen with the strangely sharpened gold headband over her bangs in what ever outfit she had decided to wear.
Weapon of Choice:
Magic, normally fire-based spells for attacks. Her spells are activated though the large tome taht she carries everywhere (carrying the tome has also worked up her muscles, making her somewhat strong). Knows a variety of healing spells and is rather messy in other elements, like water. Her spells are normally large and powerful if gotten right. Also carries a knife with her, just in case.
Willful, feisty, courageous, bold, naive, independent and straightforward. Flandre is known for her somewhat cold temper and menacing glares. She is rather protective over herself and keeps her emotions hidden inside a bubble. Her will is practically unmatched and it is very hard to get her to change her mind once she is set on an option, making her a very stubborn person to deal with. Flandre is somewhat quiet around big groups of people and is often known to simply walk away when approached by a person. She is witty and sharp-tongued and isn't afraid to throw out a few insults when provoked. Though she hates it when other people help her, she will at times accept it, muttering a 'thank you' under her breath when she thinks her helper can't hear. She is rather reckless, always being the one to run into trouble when she doesn't really mean too. Flandre will never turn down anyone in need, and she iften gets into trouble that way as she believes every single plea for help she hears. Headstrong and secretive, it is sometimes hard to keep up a conversation with her. Once you get closer to her, though, and gain her trust she starts to open up. Once open about her feelings, you will see her naive and oddly kind side which was hidden behind all of that negativity. She will show kindness in little (and well-written) notes or smiles, and will instantly feel bad if she thinks she had done something to upset you. Through and through, Flandre is a kind soul hidden behind a sharp-tongued demon.

She left home at the age of eighteen and traveled the land, training with the tome her mother had given her. She soon discovered "The Order of Hunters" and after taking interest in it she joined, hoping that it would make her stronger.

Name: Eren Blau
Weapon of Choice: Uses Magic-
Uses a variety of only pure light magic. Eren is able to activate his magic through his tattoo right below his left eye. He has limitations on his healing powers, and is considerably weakened when he uses large-scale magic. Because of this, he always carries around a dual blades. Though he is only useful as a healer, Eren has worked on his combat abilities quite considerably, and has a few tricks up his sleeve.
Personality: Eren is a strong willed, calm, and a trusting person. He doesn't pause to doubt one's word, and places his complete trust in his friends. Making friends is not too hard for Eren, since he thinks just having one small interaction with them is an instant bond. He is not a socially awkward guy, just shy and not as out-going as he should be. He is willing to do everything in his strength to help the weak and wounded. To add to his gentle nature, he's doesn't talk much. Though, when he faces a situation he can't fix, Eren tends to panic and loses control of his magic.
History: Coming from a long lineage of melee-combat, Eren's family was very disappointed that their first born was a magic user. To add to their dismay, he was a healing user, not a damage user. During his child-hood, he was constantly ignored and harassed by his family members, since he couldn't swing a sword or stab someone with a lance like his younger siblings. Eren has kept his frustrated feelings shut in a bottle, just smiling when his father yelled at him. His family was so fed up with his lack of fighting skills that they eventually kicked him out at the age of 17. He's been wandering since, being known as the Wanderer who randomly helps the wounded. He has met a variety of people, old and young, dangerous and kind. Being exposed to these different environments has changed Eren's view of the world. For 8 years, Eren has wandered around, learning new things and increasing his magic capabilites quite considerably.
He joined the Hunters because he wanted to eradicate monsters that are deemed dangerous. Overall, he's proud of joining "The Order of Hunters."
Name: Lyka Straite
Appearance: http://www.visualphotos.com/photo/2x2721326/.jpg She's leanly muscular and stands about 5'6" tall. She dresses in black leggings and a loose tunic, belted around the waist.
Personality: Lyka is pretty much a lone wolf character: generally speaking, she doesn't associate with others. While many would assume that this is a result of a hatred for humanity, in actuality, the girl is worried that anyone she became close with could be put in danger because of her slightly shady line of work (more details later). While working/on a job, she's very serious, cold, and brusque; however, in the rare moments that she can relax and let her hair down a bit, Lyka is calm and pleasant, even witty on a good day.
History: Lyka was orphaned at a young age and taken in by a retired Silver Hand soldier. He was very kind to her and even trained her in the basics of hand-to-hand and armed combat, especially archery. Her interest in combat sparked, Lyka took it upon herself to read up on poisonous plants and the pressure points of the human body. Having been sufficiently educated, Lyka left her caretaker at the age of 17. Her plan was to become a sort of Robin Hood, helping the helpless, etc., though she was quickly sucked into a network of mercenaries (the vast majority of whom bore absolutely no resemblance to Robin Hood or his ethics). She was unable to escape the life of a hired soldier (usually hired by the unethical to perform unethical jobs) because of various debts and the threats of enemies she'd amassed. When she heard about the Hunters, Lyka decided that it was a great opportunity to break out of her current predicament. If all went well, she'd make enough money to pay off her debts and the other Hunters (or at least the idea of them) would protect her from any with a bone to pick.

Appearance: He is a bald 6'5'' tall and about 315lb heavy man. Dressed in a pair of brown baggy leather breeches a white linen shirt and a brown leather coat. On his belt hang two swords, one on either side. The one on the left doesn't have a hilt, but a longer shaft with a click lock at the end. On his belt he also caries a hammer with the same long shaft instead of a classic hilt. On his right hand he wears a spiked iron gauntlet, on his left a leather glove. His feet look as if he wears a pair of heavy pair of iron boots.
Weapon of Choice:
Swords, dual wielded
Because he was mauled in a monster attack in his childhood, he lost his hand and half of his forearm. Now a metal pipe runs up to his elbow through it to give stability to tools or weapons he wields with it. The hilt-less sword inserts perfectly within the pipe and locks at the end. The same thing goes for the spiked metal gauntlet and for his trusty hammer.
The attack that left his arm shorter by a measure took both his legs half way down from his knees. This forced him to craft or have crafted prosthetic legs. While they are heavy they offer a greater stability in the detriment of speed. As a blacksmith he is always trying to learn more to perfect the faux appendices he owns.
Personality: Cruel, sadistic and savage. He easily falls in a berserker rage while fighting. Rough and unrefined while out of combat. Hard to get along with in general
History: At the 10, the farm of his family was overrun by a pack of monsters. Luckily for him the village blacksmith was a family friend and took him in, as mauled as he had become. He had crafted for the young boy a pair of wooden pegs and started rehabilitating him. In the years to come he became apprentice blacksmith and studied the possibility of crafting better limbs for himself. around the age of 25, with the help of the blacksmith he crafted the boots, gauntlet, swords and the arm and leg insertion mechanism. He never imagined that making the insertions a part of him would be such a painful task. With the help of the blacksmith, the village doctor and some other neighbors, the first insertions was heated until red hot and made to fit within both his arm. Even so they could only insert one of them at the time, forcing Gebeleizis to wait a few months before the next insertion. This was a must, as his death on the operating table or while healing would not help anyone.
About two years later he was the proud owner of three fake appendices. With this his dream to become a hunter seemed much closer. Thus he trained with them day and night to be capable to wield them at their full worth.
While having no actual memory of the attack, be it because of shock or because he never actually seen anything, his goal as a hunter is to find and kill as many of these things as possible.
Name: Gwendolyn (or Gwen for short)
Weapon of choice: Sword that hangs on her back
Personality: Gwen is a brave, serious, no-nonsense type of girl. She loves pain, because it reminds her that she is alive,
History: She was raised to be strong by her other brother, of whom was killed by one of the beasts. She tucked this deep inside of her, and continued her daily routine, keeping shelter in the woods. Killing beasts brings a sort of thrill to her, which is why she decided to join the hunters.

Weapon of Choice:
Collar and wrist shackles: He chains himself every night so that if he has nightmares, his thrashing about does minimal damage.
Gladius: His favored possession, the full tang blade is made from a piece of starmetal (meteorite) as his award from finishing the grand gladiator games and one part of a ten piece set.
Armor: Murmillo basis he has added to over time, he has replaced the rectangular shield for a round and wears two Manical of different designs until he can find suitable breastplate.
Traveling supplies: Backpack, bedroll, block and tackle, crowbar, rope rations, water, lantern, and a book to write things down.
Shield: He carries a simple steel large round to use as a hat in the rain, a grill to cook from and a pan to sift for gold in riverbeds.
Trident: His polearm when sword and board are not the best of use. With the tines he may disarm or keep enemies at bay with the reach and stopping effect of the flat connecting the blades.
Sickle: Instead of a dagger on the belt, he keeps this short blade on the inside of his shield.
Plagued by nightmares, one of the reasons he travels is to look for a cure to the dreams. He is also addicted to sleep potions/spells as they make him black out rather than dream. There are nine other fighters in the world who each own a piece of his matching armory to his gladius, by their shared pledge, never shall they fight one another.
Born a woodsman, he lived his life plainly for many years until raiders came to the village. He was captured and sold into a gladiator kennel where he fought for his life constantly for over a decade. Finally after twelve years of combat, he was patronized by a hero who offered to pay his entry fee to the freedom games, a brutal contest of 1000 others fighting for their freedom. Day by day he fought in 100 rounds one hour at a time with barely time to rest much less sleep between bouts until he and nine others were the finalists and granted their freedom with a keepsake item to prove their worth. Out of gratitude he travels with the one who freed him as he searched for a cure to his nightmares. (Open for someone to have been his patron, preferably a mage or noble,)
Name: Ein Oumar
Weapon of Choice: A rapier, which slightly curves giving it an appearance much like a scimtar, yet the blade is much thinner than one of a scimtar, or a gauntlet that can possibly stun an enemy with the sheer impact of steel on flesh.
Personality: Ein is very carefree and nonchalant with everyone, and doesn't react to offensive or negative comments. He will listen to them and thank them for their insight afterwards. The only things that upsets him at all are integrity and stoicism. He feels that, as the saying goes, to each his own, meaning a person controls their decision.
History: Ein was a very young child when he decided to learn swordplay, after watching his father spar with his companions for hours, interested in the quick, fluid movement of the rapier. As he aged, he became more skilled and skilled, almost mastering his technique when he was just becoming 18. But then, the accident happened.
It was 3 weeks before he had mastered the art, and he was sparring with his father on a hillside. His father remarked on how he could be useful to the empire, stating that he could teach recruits to fight for the army. Ein, irritated by his father's remarks, had taken a step too far and had pierced his father's headpiece, stabbing the blade through his eye and into his brain. His father died 3 hours later. Out of remorse, Ein joined the Order to escape from the haunting memory. And to receive forgiveness for his angered impulse.

Name: Fletcher Blackwing
Weapon of Choice: Spears
Personality: Independent, Strong Willed, Strong Leader
History: Born into a military family Fletcher was tough the basics of war and combat from a young age. Both of his parents served in the Silver Hand Empires Military and he was expected to do the same. Enrolled as a squire Fletcher learned much about combat from his mentors the Knights of Silver and was eventually promoted into their ranks when he became of age. Now Fletcher volunteered to command a company of the Hunters and has been stationed oversee and lead the 16th Regiment.

Zack - Our Blacksmith and Armorer. Loves his work and always produces the finest quality weapons and armor he can given the resources. Out of crafting and maintaining weapons and armor kinda a dunce.
Maggie - Our housekeeper while were away! Nice enough girl who does her job efficiently although if any form of money is left out in a room she considers it a "tip" but she won't rummage threw your stuff to find the money. Unless you piss her off that is.
Wong - The "Special Wears Merchant" he might take forever for him to shut up but at least he has the best products. He also can Enchant Items with Mystic properties for a price.
