This RP is set 1,000 years in the past of MLP, before Nightmare was banished, and after Sombra was sealed.
The population of the village you live in has thrived for years; Unicorns guarding from the occasional creature from the nearby Everfree Forest (No, this is not old Ponyville) and healing the injured and sick, while Pegasi have kept the area wet for the crops of the earth ponies. All in all, a productive and stable town... About to be crushed, beneath the destructive force of Haze. Who, or what is Haze you ask? All will become clear in time... For now, all you need to know is that you are a Colt or Filly of any species, attending the same school as all the other children of the village, having recently moved in.
Rules:
No God-modding ((AKA 'he sends a laser at [Alyarin's Character], hitting him square in the face and blasting him into a wall, after which he leaps forwards, daggers raised and thrusts them into his chest))
No power-playing ((Your character likely isn't Celestia. If they are, then you have breached the levels of logic and reason, and I or Eventide will proceed to break the rule of god-modding to kill you. Basically, you can't have god-like characters -,-))
No Meta-gaming. If you read it in the OOC, your character doesn't know. If you read it in a message, they don't know (Unless it was a whisper/secret interaction between a number of characters). The only thing your character knows is what they've seen, heard, or magically detected.
Eventide and I can and will break our own rules, though we will not do so to abuse. We will add anyone we perceive as possible 'admins' to this list. You know how they say lightning never strikes twice? If we want you to leave the RP, it'll strike over nine thousand times. You should add that to the end your post if you want in, by the way. Pay no notice to the (read next word backwards) drowssap at the bottom. Do not post it. Instead, look for another internet meme in the rules. I'll give you a hint... Scouter.

Appearance (Image preferred, but text accepted): His fur is absolutely grey at this point due to a not-so-commonly-known process, with blue eyes. His mane simply appears black until you concentrate on him (or it), within a few seconds looking like a starry night's sky, almost with depth to it. You would need to concentrate on him for a good few seconds to notice it, however. He's not physically strong at the moment (but has made up for that with magical ability).
Cutie Mark (No need to describe): A full moon with a black unicorn horn crossing it diagonally, from the bottom-right to the top-left.
Other info: Much like Autumn, excels at all forms of magic apart from magic related to light, being physically unable to create light, and being extremely drained by creating fire etc.
Cutie Mark: A Yellow-Green apple.
Other Info: She's not very good with light-based magic but excels at every other form. Unfortunately, she isn't the best under pressure.
She's not related to Al but happens to be living with his parents.

By the way, light can relate to most things to be considered Solar. Fire etc. Al's got the same weakness, but MUCH more noticeable.
