Luxumbrae Academy IC
OOC is here.
You start this RP when going to your dorm. You can start a little before that, based on the intro to the OOC.
~Sunday~Weather: It has just started raining again~Time: Morning~Month: January~
Felix had just finished her tour of the Academy, led by Tristan. She guessed she should go to her dorm, so she took out her dorm key and looked once more at the large building in front of her, then looked back down at the tag attached to the key. Once she was sure she had her dorm number memorized, she took a deep breath and walked forward. The girl pulled open the door, which was a clear glass door and heavier than she'd expected it to be, and walked in, making sure to shut the door carefully behind her. Upon walking in, she found a large common room, a kitchen, and a bathroom. They were all pristine and looked like stuff you could find in a millionaire's house. She walked up to the elevator and pushed the up button. The elevator immediately dinged, and the doors opened. Soft music was playing inside it and it looked like an elevator from a hotel. Everything here looked like it costed a fortune. Felix pushed the button for her floor, and didn't have to wait long for the elevator to stop moving again. She left the elevator, found her dorm room, and unlocked the door. Like the elevator, it looked like it had come out of a 5-star hotel. Breathing in and smelling a fresh fragrance, she stepped inside and closed the door. As promised, her suitcases were already there. She did the same thing she did first whenever she went to a hotel--walked right up to the window and peered out. The view was stunning, and Felix could see that the school grounds stretched for miles. The gates she had first come in from were no bigger than her thumb from up here. Smiling slightly, she went back to her luggage and picked it up, setting it next to the foot of the bed. The desk next to the bed was a glossy white, complete with pencils, paper, and a lamp. Remembering her promise to her father, she picked up the phone attached to the wall next to the door and dialed his cell number. She didn't want to talk to his wife and ruin her happiness right now.
"Hey, dad," she said when he picked up. Felix answered all the standard questions of a parent before he could ask. "If the school lets us, can you send Lady Godiva over? I'll ask them and call you back," she asked. Lady Godiva, her horse, was currently at a boarding stable. She grabbed her cell phone and key and slipped them both into her pocket, then headed out of her room. Once she'd made sure the door had locked, she walked back towards the elevator.

Ido, who was already in his dorm, had heard that he was getting a roommate, he had already cleaned it all, even polished the furniture. There was however one thing he did not like, he was getting a roommate, this went entirely against his social protocol
he didn't have a clue what to do, in fact he was very tempted to just hide in the closet. He kept muttering the words "It's alright, ill be fine, it's just another person" to himself, followed by a slight nervous chuckle that sounded like it came strait from a madman. As students walked down the corridor he twitched, although no one ever came in, he knew it was coming. At this time he heard footsteps that stopped right at the door.He gave a quick glance to the closet, and fighting his instincts, stayed on the couch. As he waited for the door knob to turn he quickly muttered"They could kill me, not likely, but possible".

Tristan walked into his dorm room and sighed. He'd just finished introducing another student to the school, and decided to wait for another phone call from Miss Palmer. He flopped onto his bed, laying on his stomach and propping himself up with his elbows, and stared out the window. The grounds were still covered with green grass, although it was January and the grass should be dead. He started fiddling with the pillowcase, then got off the bed and stood up. Pushing the power button on his computer, Tristan Carter flipped through a stack of papers on his desk, left over from last year. Once he was sure that he wouldn't need any of those papers this year, he tossed the whole, thick stack into the recycling bin in the corner with a smooth flick of his wrist. Some of the papers scattered and missed the bin, but most landed where he'd intended for them to land. He pushed the chair away from the desk and turned it around, then got up and started picking the sheets of paper up so they could be placed in the recycling bin. He rolled his eyes mentally and sat back down in the chair when he was done. His computer had booted up, so he logged in and checked his email.

Noticing that the door did not open, he let his instincts get the best of him as he darted to the closet, while in the darkness he had a odd nervous conversation with him self."This is stupid!"NO being out there was stupid!"Oh shut up!"You first!"No."I hate you"i hate you too"not really, i couldn't hate you"me neither!'Friends?"friends"Good".Then snapping back to sanity "Oh god i have problems, i find it amazing that no one has entered yet as well", talking to him self.

Vixon remained quiet as he sat on the edge of his bed. The room was clean and nothing was out of place. The window was open, the lights were on, and every door, except for the one leaving his room, was open.
"Another year alone," Vixon said quietly to himself, "I pray it remain this way." He stood and walked to his closet. His eyes examined his clothing left to right. His pants hung on the left, his shirts and under armor in the middle, and his overcoats on the right.
"Nothing out of place," Vixon said quietly picking through his clothes. As if he was looking back at himself through a mirror, he placed his left hand on his chest. A moment passed, then he got dressed. He put his under armor on first, then his pants, then his shirt, and finally his overcoat.
Vixon turned to his window and stared out. His mind blank, free of worry for the time being. Nothing outside has changed, the same in his mind as it had been for the past three years. He was always more than happy to be here.
"At least I remain alone through this year," Vixon said to his refection on the window, "we are alone."

Once again, she did not have to wait long for the elevator once she'd pressed the down button. Felix stepped into the elevator and leaned against the handrail after pushing the button for the first floor. The elevator dinged again, and she was at the first floor. The first floor was so quiet it was almost... eerie. The girl shrugged the notion off, reasoning that everyone was probably still at home or in their dorm rooms. "Shit," she muttered under her breath. She'd forgotten the map of the campus in her room. After a second of thinking about whether or not she should go get it, Felix decided that it wouldn't be necessary. After all, the dorm rooms weren't that far from the main building, and she doubted she'd get lost going there and back, so she walked toward the glass doors and pushed them open, squinting her eyes to see through the rain. The doors clicked shut, and she walked onward, down the cobblestone path, and across the small grassy area to the path leading to the main building. She pulled open the heavy doors and smiled at Miss Palmer, stepping inside to get out of the rain.
"Hello, Felix. How can I help you?" the secretary asked warmly.
"Well.. I was told that there is a stable here," she said. Once the woman nodded, she continued, "I have a horse at home, and I was wondering if I could stable her here so I could ride her after school."
Miss Palmer answered, "Well, that is certainly not the first time a student has requested that. All we ask is that we be allowed to bring the horse here, you feed and take care of it, and that you bring all your paperwork for your horse that you've done and file it here in the office."
Felix nodded and replied, "That works. Would you like the address of the boarding stable?" She wrote the address of the stable and the name of her horse down on the Post-it given to her and handed it back to the secretary. She was told that her horse would be here by tonight and asked to let the boarding stable know that she wouldn't need their services anymore as well as that the secretary herself would be picking the horse up. Once again, she nodded in acceptance, and with a thank you, headed out of the building. She pulled her iPhone out and unlocked it, then scrolled through her contacts. She called the boarding stable to let them know that Miss Jane Palmer would be picking Lady Godiva up, and that it was authorized by her. The stable manager told her to come with Miss Palmer, so she agreed, hung up, and went to tell Miss Palmer. The secretary told her that she'd call her dorm room and let her know when they needed to leave. Felix thanked her again, then headed around back of the building to the stable. There were quite a few empty stalls, though there were just as many occupied stalls. Walking up to a glossy black stallion named Docendo Discimus, after the motto of the school, she held out her hand flat and wondered what the words meant. After she'd visited all the horses and checked out the arenas, she headed back to her dorm room, holding her arms out to let them feel the rain.

"Well, since whoever they are hasn't showed up yet, I think i'll cook while I have time"(im assuming there is a kitchen in the dorm, since it's a fancy school) emerging from the closet and making his way to the kitchen."Lets see here, where did I put my cook book?, not in the cabinet, not in the drawer, aha!, it was on the stove, feel like a idiot"still talking to him self."Lets see here, I think I will make some chicken casserole, go ahead and get the chicken started"
Reaching into the the sink where he had already set some chicken to thaw, for he knew what ever he was going to cook was going to involve chicken."Alright time to add the cream of chicken to the casserole dish while the chicken in the skillet finishes, now for the mayonnaise, and the celery."It already smells good!, now for the butter, salt, lemon juice , onion, and lastly the eggs! , oh wait... it says i need cooked rice..... im out of rice...this is a disaster!I can't leave the food because it's cooking, but the dish will be ruined without the rice!, maybe i can call some one here and see if they have any rice".
