Aww I love it. I just finished Firefly. It's really good too.

I assumed the hounds of Baskerville was an early episode. After research I've discovered it's 5 of 6. Have I ruined everything for myself ?

Nope, that one was actually rather contained. Not much in the way of direct continuation of the plot, but still good nonetheless, of course.
