King Leonardo became king at the age of 27, after his father the late King Alessio died from an infection caused by a wound he had gotten after a battle. His Mother the late Queen Veronica died giving birth to his younger brother Borso. Never loved his wife, but he admires her, and lets her do as she pleases. He was completely infatuated with Francesca, but now it’s just a mutual love. (Age 49)

Mount Vardan, is an isolated territory of Kembre. There is only one large village, located high up the mountain, where the air is thin and always full of Katar stone dust, blowing around from the old emptied quarries and mines, all over the mountain.
Kembre owns about half of Mount Vardan, the territory line that mark off the end of their ownership, is really a long wide bottomless crack that goes all the way across the mountain.
There are no schools or books, they don't see a purpose for reading or writing. They keep history through stories and songs. They learn how to hunt for their meat, goat herd, trade properly, and most of all mine Katar Stone.
There are no farms, so most food other than meat and cheese is bought through the traders.
The people ages 12-65 work in the quarry, the culture is focused around a shared working life in the quarry. its a hardworking, dedicated, and close-knit village, they live A happy simple life, without the politics, and evils of the lowlanders.
(lowlanders = is what they call all people not from the mountain village)
The only thing they mine, is a stone called Katar. Katar is the mountains only crop.
Over centuries whenever one quarry ran out of Katar, the villagers dug a new one, moving the village into the old quarry. Each of the mountains quarries has produced slight variations of the brilliant white Katar stone. They have mined Katar marbled with pale veins of pink, blue, green, yellow, silver, and now purple.
Katar is rare, so rare in fact that the only known place to find it, is high up on Mount Vardan. And the only people that can Mine it perfectly, are the Vardan Villagers also known as Stone-Singers.
This is the stone that allows the villagers their livelihood, through trade in the summer and spring months. None of the villagers normally ever leave the village, seeing as they know hardly anything about the rest of the world, except from what they see of the greedy traders, and bandits.
Vardan people are much stronger than even the strongest lowlander. They all are Stone-Singers. (Native Vardan people are called Vardanians)
Stone-Singing is a form of communication. For generations quarry workers have used a silent form of speech to communicate in the quarries. Stone-Song will work anywhere where there is Katar stone. All one has to do is to use shared common memories and keep on touch with the stone so the speech flows. If one does not share the common memory they will get the closest like-form that they have of a memory. Stone-Singers also have an affinity for all forms of rock/stone/metals/gems but mainly Katar. They are great metalworkers, smiths and stoneworkers. All people in the village know by heart the traditional song and stories of Vardan. The songs have meanings and messages to them that aid one when stone-singing.
Vardan people don't practice any form of religion, they do believe in reincarnation.
They dress mostly in leathers, furs, and Wool, but also gain fabric such as velvet, silk, cotton, and flax, from the traders. (Think Viking like clothing styles)
Surnames are rather different from the rest of the world in Vardan. A daughter takes her fathers first name and adds daughter to the end of it, where a Son takes his mothers first name and adds son to the end. Example (also they have very viking/Nature/Frankish sounding names)

King Archibald became king at the age of 12, after his father died from a heart attack. His Mother, Queen consort Alice, ruled for him until he was seventeen, when she died of kidney failure due to a chronic kidney disease she had all her life. Her dying wish was to bring together all the kingdoms in peace, and that has Been Kings Archibald mission since. Marring his youngest sister Ursula to King Leonardo of Kembre, and as of late he married his youngest son to the princess Marguerite of Selymar. He was betrothed to the Duchess Anne Sutton of Umbridge, but he fell in love with a servant girl named Ellen and married her instead. (age 50)
Queen Ellen was born Éliane Orphelin, a orphan, and slave in Selymar, She began working in the Aldentine castle at a young age, after being smuggled out of Selymar by some Sol Cielo priestess. King Archibald had long been in love with her. When he was 18 he made her his Queen, she was 14. She died at the age of 20, after being assassinated (her throat slit in the middle of the night) by a still unknown person. She is half Elf. And a known Animal-Singer. (would be 45)

Declan Island is the island territory of Aldentine. There are many small villages throughout the island home of the Declania people. There is one port town called Sabbia, which many retired pirates, bandits, and soldier call home.
Declanias are the natives of the Island, and are all Magic-Blood people, many are fire-singers, and some have reptilian like eyes, some even have horns.
Some can speak to Dragons and other reptilian, and birdlike creatures in the language called Dragotongue.
An individual who can speak Dragotongue is known as a Dragomouth. It is a very uncommon skill, and is typically hereditary. Most all who find they are a Dragomouth, end up forming a intense bond with a dragon, and becoming a Dragon Rider. Many Dragon Riders become Knights of Dragoth. (Declan natives names are of Irish/Celtic origin)
Dragon Riders Are Dragomouth people who form a bond with a dragon. There lifespan is extended about 50 more years then a typical human/Elf do to the Dragons Magic. They also become much faster, stronger and more agile. They are resilient to element there Dragon possess. So if one has a fire dragon that person can not be burned or harmed by fire.
Knights of Dragoth are men, and woman dragon riders, whom take an oath to protect the kingdoms of Aveeno from Dark Magic, harpies, evil Demons, Ogres, giants, Minotaur, and so many other Evils a regular Army normally can not handle alone. They fight for all kingdoms and are never part of the human wars/battles.
Dragons come in many different colors. There are 7 types of dragon. Dragon may choose to bond with a dragomouth Human/elf, but its a one time thing that lasts until there Rider dies. Dragons can live to be about 500 old. Dragons originate from the Momoa Islands and Declan Island, and most are found there.
Fire Dragon - They are the most common and well known of the dragon species, they breath fire. They come in shades of red, orange, yellow, and gold.
Acid Dragon - They come in shades of Green, yellow, Orange, and Purple. They spit Acid. They are the least friendly of the Dragon species.
Frost Dragon - Their breath can freeze even the hottest of things. They come in shades of white, silver, blue, and gray.
Lightning Dragon - They can shoot lightning out of their mouths. They come in shades of Black, Silver, Gold, and Purple. They are the friendliest of the dragons.
Water Dragon - They are more like sea serpents with wings. The can blast boiling water from the mouths, breath underwater, and create a fog/mist for cover. They come in shades of blue and green.
Speed Dragon - They are very strong and much faster then all the other dragon, they are also the rarest species. They come in all colors/shades.
Poison Dragon - They dislike bonding with humans. They can make their breath into a deadly poisons gas, and their blood is deadly to the touch. they come in shades of red, Green, black, and brown.

King Maurice became king six years ago after his father the late King Jasper died from an accidental overdose of mercury medication. The physician that gave him the dosage, and his apprentice were later executed for their mistake. The tradition of the Selymar royals on gaining the throne after the last ruler dies is rather brutal. The children of the Late ruler must kill all of their own siblings, to be the last one standing, and then they can be King/Queen. One can choose not to participate in Fight for succession, but in turn they must claim no right to the throne even if all other siblings are killed. The Game/fight only lasted a matter of two weeks, as King Maurice Killed his brother Prince Jacques by barricading all of the windows and doors of his estate and burning the place down with Jacques wife and child inside, without even bating an eyelash I might say. His sister Nicole was killed by Jacques days before by drowning her in her bath even after Nicole chose to give up her right to the throne. Jacques also poisoned Maurice's wine, but his wife Marie drank it instead and died. Hate all form of magic and he also Hates the elves race. His sister Nicole was someone he love dearly and he would have let her have the throne if she wanted it.(Age 36)

Selymar owns about half of Mount Vardan, the territory line that mark off the end of their ownership, is really a long wide bottomless crack that goes all the way across the mountain. Unlike Kembre's Mount Vardan territory, there is no Katar stone to be found, just many ancient empty quarries. Their also are no Vadanians, seeing as the one and only village is in Kembre's territory. At the foot of Mount Vardan there are many Coal and Iron Ore Mines that the Selymar slaves work in. The Mount Vardan Canyon (the line that splits Mount Vardan territories) is home to the famous hidden black market/city also known as Mauvais City.
Mauvais city a huge, dirty, and lawless. Practically every person who lives there is a criminal or in hiding. It is a mix of, opium dens/black markets/red-light district/bars/drugs/dark magics/and so on. The entrance to Mauvais is kinda hidden behind a large boulder, but not purposely, no one cares who comes and goes from this city. There are many Demons, Humans, and elves who live there.
Other than that, Selymar's side of the mountain has become home to runaway slaves, bandits, thieves, and most of at all, the many evil beasts, and creatures of the land of Aveeno.

A magic-blood is a generalized term used to describe: a person who is a half-breed, Hybrid race, Singer, demon, Elf, or witch. (basically all people with hereditary magic).
Some people who may not posses magic/abilities are called this when the have any oddities about them, such as reptilian or cat like eyes, small horns, fox/wolf ears, or strange markings (like tattoos but born with it). Many have this appearance from birth because they have an ancestor who was a Demon, of hybrid race, or a witch, but sometimes it just happens as if it was a birthmark. They are called Magicmarks.
Merpeople - Merpeople Populate the oceans of Aveeno, in underwater cities/villages. They can, with the help of certain spells, give themselves human legs and feet, and walk on land, some fall in love with humans and stay on land with them, having children and so on. Offspring from a Merfolk/human relationship, called halfbreeds, have the same abilities as any pureblood merperson, but are extremely weak to illnesses/germs, and many do not survive past the age of five, without help from medications, alchemy, or magic. Merpeople are unable to lie, so the learn to be careful with their words. They communicate telepathically when under water. They can breath underwater and can breath regular Air. contrary to popular belief, merpeople are not extremely beautiful compered to other races. The top half of them appears like any other human, and the bottom half is a long fish fin, normally blue or green, rarely purple, or red.
Centaurs - Male Centaurs normally have horns, that develop around the age of 13, unlike female centaurs who rarely if ever grow horns. They are a very intelligent and strong race. Their life span is the same as a humans. Most Centaurs live in family herds in the valleys, forests, and deserts. Not fond of going into the loud overcrowded cities.
Fauns - They excel in the musics and the arts. Faun people are all human in appearance except for the horns on their head. Some also have deer like ears, tails, and some even have hooves for feet. Do not get on the bad side of a Faun they dont forgive easily, but they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Their lives are just a bit longer then humans.

Sol Elves - Sol Elves are very beautiful. Hair colors include white, silver, gray, shades of blonde, and sometimes reds and light-browns. Eye colors come in all shades and colors of the rainbow except for black, and dark brown. Most are rather fair skinned. They originate from the western part of Aveeno, but as of the last 300 years have spread all over the lands, they are the first of elven race that has never tried to keep to the old ways, of staying out of human business. They have the same life span as a human, but they can not become sick/ill, unless they are a halfbreed. They have amazing eyesight and are Immune to cold and heat. They have been around as long as the humans have. There are many Noble Sol Elf families. Many are amazing archers.

Stelle Elves - Stelle elves are the oldest of all the elven races. Many have the power of telekinesis. Their skin is darker then most races as is there hair, where eye colors normally come in shades of brown, hazel, gray, black, and sometimes green. They can jump very high and are faster then any human when running. Traditionally Stelle elves live in small nomadic communities, but as of the last 50 or so year many Stelle elves have branched out to live in regular cities/towns/villages along side the humans. The average life span is a bit longer then a humans. the oldest known Stelle Elf was 197.

Lunis Elves - Lunis Elves are known to be rather cunning, and love to involve themselves in trickery, pranks, and drama. They have a poisonous bite and are somewhat carnivorous. They are immune to all poisons. They have the ability to be invisible, when they wish, and can hear things from up to 3 miles away. Many Lunis elves are employed as assassins, and spies. When their adrenalin spikes their eyes glow red. They are amazing warriors. There hair comes in all shades of brown, green, red, orange, and purple, as does their eyes, some only have completely black eyes. There life span is about the same as a humans but they can live much longer if they give into there dark side. For every life they take, about five extra years are added to their own. Not all Lunis Elves are bad, it just takes alot of self control.

Singers is a term used to describe people (mainly humans, and halfbreeds) whom posses one of the magical abilities listed below. The powers of a singer, are a hereditary magic, some are more rare then others, for it can skip generations. Some Singers are more powerful then others.
Animal-Singer - People with the ability to communicate, understand, and influence animals of all types, except for dragons.
People-Singer - People with the ability to communicate in all languages (read and write also), the power to manipulate people, Influence, and persuade them in your favor. (very very rare)
Dream-Singer - Can create illusions, Can see into peoples dreams, and can detect lies.
Nature-Singer - The ability to animate and control plant life.
Wind-Singer - The ability to control and create wind. ( many Sky ships are run with sails and wings, buy sailing the air currants in the sky. Wind-singers are hired on sky ships to help control the currents. )
Stone-Singer - Is a form of silent communication. It works through common memories, the speech flows thought the minds. Stone-Singers also have an affinity for all forms of rock/stone/metals/gems but mainly Katar Stone. (only native 'Mount Vardan' people are stone-singers)
Fire-Singer - The ability to control and create fire and heat.
Water-Singer - Can breath underwater, and have the ability to control water in all forms. Ice, water, steam and mist. ( Some Sky ships are run on steam and require a water-singer.)

Shadow-Singer - The ability of shadow manipulation, allows the singer to control others movement by stepping on their shadows. Also, if an action is written in the shadow, the victim is forced to do it. Can also control shadows to keep hidden. Can see in the dark very well. (rare)
Blood-Singer - They are the rarest of all the Singers types. Their blood is blue in color. There blood has healing capabilities, can cure all ills, and is a antidote to all poisons. There used to be a race of people called Blue-Bloods with this power, but they quickly died out after being discovered by others. Drained of there blood, or being kept in dungeons most of there lives, only to be used for there blood. Powers of healing.
Witches are humans and some elves who practice witchcraft. It is a hereditary magic, it must be learned. More females have it then males. Children of witches all have the gene, but if they do practice and use their magic before they go through puberty, they can loose their magic and the gene, becoming a none magic human. What a witch can do varies from witch to witch depending on their specialties. Being a witch can become a profession also.
Spells - A spell could consist of a set of words, a formula or verse, a ritual action, or any combination of these. Many Witches have a Spell book. Spell make things happen, you could make inanimate object move.
Magic Object - Runes, Sigils, crystals, tarot cards, amulets, charms, and talismans.
Magic Potions - Potion Brewing is not considered a magic within itself, but when you add a spell to it or magic ingredient, it becomes something different entirely.
Ingredients for Magic potions - Stardust, Sage, unicorn horn, slugs, salt, belladonna, rose thorn, mandrake, frog eyes, spring water, Wormwood, bat wing, Leech juice, fairy-dust, dragon blood, dragon scales, and many other ingredients, including regular herbs.
Blood Magic - Blood oath/pacts are soul binding, and must be upheld. Blood used in rituals, potions, and spell casting, make the magic ever stronger.
Divination - there are many different methods of divination, Scrying being one of them. watching for omens can also be a method.
Scrying - A practice that involves seeing things psychically in a medium, usually for purposes of finding someone or something, and less often for purposes of divination or fortune-telling. The most common media used are reflective, translucent, or luminescent substances such as crystals, stones, glass, mirrors, and water.
Halfbreeds are people of mixed races.
Demon/Deamon is a word used to generalize all races of demons. Some Demons are good like the fairies, nymphs, or the Verdi, while others are not so good, such as devils, trolls, and gleebers. Some are neutral in many ways. Many Deamons are like mindless beast, and others are more humanistic in ways of their thoughts, appearance, and emotions.
Verdi - Also called tree spirits. Verdis reside in forests and places with an abundance of trees/nature. They are a small and slender race. Their full adult heights are no taller then 4 feet. They are a peaceful joyful deamon, and like the nymphs, are in tune with nature. They eat a variety of soils, such as loam, clay, and sand. They can make all kinds of bird sounds, and this helps them communicate with the birds. They find humans frighting, and normally stay hidden away from them. More like animal than human, but they can speak human language, if they are taught it. It is said that they are the voices in the wind. They have beautiful voices. They spend their time singing, dancing, laughing, racing around, and living in the treetops. They hibernate in burrows under trees during the winter. They can not live more then a week without, nature surrounding them, or they will transform into a Gleeber. They hate and fear fire more then anything. They can live for hundreds of years.
Gleeber - A Gleeber is a Verdi Demon, who has been away from nature for to long, and has transformed. Their skin hardens like bark, hair becomes like dry leafs, and dead wood. They lose their beautiful Verdi voices, it becomes raspy and dark. They become sullen, angry demons. They spend most of there life wondering from place to place, stealing shiny object from travelers, and flinging dirt/stones/sticks at birds, and other animals. There skin becomes poisonous to trees and many other plants, so still loving the trees, not wishing to harm them, they normally go to wonder in the poisonous plant jungles in Selymer, where they can't do harm. They eat a variety of poisonous plants, such as Black Nightshade, Caladium, and Strychnos. They fear nothing, and some become henchman to stronger evil deamons. They can live for many decades.
Satir - Powerful and sinister, are word one would use to describe a Satir. They are very manipulative, and evil. They are said to come from the realm of eternal pain and darkness, where they tortured all the souls. There are not many known Satirs. They live off eating the hearts of elves. Powers include, blasting green lightning from their fingers, hypnotism, shapeshifting into a huge black snake with horns, hexes, and necromancy.
Oger - Ogers come in shades of green and brown. They are very strong, large, ugly and slow-witted. Ogers dwell in isolated caves, sometimes living together, but most of the time alone. They will not bother you if you leave them alone, and stay out of there territory. Once they start fighting they don't stop until they kill you, or you kill them. They eat raw meat and bones. They can roar like a lion when very angry but most of the time they just make a grunting/growling noise.
Gorgon - Gorgons have hair of living, venomous snakes, and a the horrifying power to turn people to stone, by seeing the snakes on their head. normally Gorgons keep their hair hidden and covered with cloths/head wraps. They shed there skin every full moon, and perpetually lonely sad demons. They envy beauty, and like to surround themselves with the finest most wonderful things. You would never find a Gorgon dressed in rags, only the most beautiful silks and velvet. The only way to kill a Gorgon is by cutting of their head, and even in death there snake hair lives and can still turn you to stone.
Fairy - Their are only female fairies, no males. They do not age, but can die from human illness and injury. They are considered to be the daughters of the Gods Luna and Sol. They are born during the times of twilight, and dawn, from flower petals that fall into a pool of water, that has the reflection of the moon in it. They have voices that sound like twinkling bells. Fairies are only visible at night, and they glow like a golden sun. They can fly high in the sky. Fairies fall in love easily with humans, and elf men. Non-Magic human people can become enchanted with a fairies, and forget themselves and the world around them, only to end up dying from starvation, or dehydration without even knowing it. Fairies do not need to eat or drink anything to survive, but do enjoy flower nectar and other sweet and fruity foods/drinks. Fairies who become pregnant with a child (only from relations with a human or elf.), normally die giving birth, for they can not tolerate much pain, just a prick on the finger sends them screaming for hours. Her fairy sisters will take the baby to the nearest town and put it in what ever cradle they can find, or if the father is still alive they give the baby to him, and send him on his way.
Devil - Devil Demon are sadistic, and find fun in torturing anyone, in anyway they can. Devil Demons can not feel pain. They have long pointy tails, horns, and their skin is like a crocodiles. Devils are like chameleons, they can change their coloring for camouflage purposes, but mainly their true color is of black or dark red. They want power and control in the world of man, but lack the necessary abilities to grasp it, so through weak souled humans, a Devil can do demonic possession. Gaining them a human body, but being possessed by a Devil demon kills the human body in a matter of a few years. Witches and wizards can exercise the demon from the body through a very complicated spell ritual.
Siren - Sirens are the offspring of merpeople and demons relations. They are, beautiful, conniving, dangerous, and devious demons, who have the power to enchant through music and their voices. They like to loll sailors to their death, by shipwrecking them, on the rocky coast of islands where they live. They also like to use their powers to seduces other demons, only to suck out their souls, for that is what keeps a siren, alive and beautiful. They love to drowned people, pulling them deep into the dark waters. They are found mostly in lagoons and in/around the rock coast of islands.
Lupin - Lupin are bony wolf like demons. They share many attributes with wolves and humans. Though their strength and speed is far beyond those of wolves or men, and they only eat human, elves, and hybrids. The drink all the blood and eat everything even the bones. The bite or scratch from a Lupin, causes Human, and elf alike to become a werewolf. Werewolf, are not consider demons, just cursed, they only transform into a werewolf on full moons, and have no recollection of what happened when the were wolf.
Hag - Hags are very obsessed about being young. They can do transformation magic, on object and people, but they can't do much to other demons. They are normally henchman to stronger demons. They are rather manic with their emotions, and personalities. Every time they use their magic the grow older and uglier. They gain youth through kidnapping young children and eating their hearts while it still beating. Cackling, and using magic to their advantage, is what they do best.
Weevil - Weevils are demons of greed and lies. The are quite the silvertongues, and swindlers. They love to make bets, bargains, and deals with people. They have great power to grant a person's deepest wishes, and darkest desires, by means of Magical Deals, bets and bargians, that prove in the end to be worse than he would initially proclaim. They are very tricky demons, how live in nest like houses in dark forests. Their skin is a sparkly golden color, they have sharp claws, and creepy eyes.
Harpy - The body of a bird and head of a beautiful human. They like stealing food, and shiny things. They smell horribly foul, and have shrill horrible voices. They can fly very fast and like to rip up sails ships.
Pixie - Pixies get to be no bigger then a pinky finger. They inhabit ancient ruins, and abandoned places, they also like to hang around graves. Pixies are mischievous, and childlike; they are fond of dancing, gather outdoors in huge numbers to dance, or sometimes wrestle, through the night. They are nocturnal, and like bees, they pollinate flowers. They are a genderless species of demon, born from tiny eggs. They are said to bring good luck, and love aid in tasks around the house. They can fly very fast, and are sometime mistaken for dragonflies. They like to pull hair, for they have none of their own, and love to hide people things from them. They are a harmless demon.
Nymph - Nymphs come in colors of brown and gray. Nymphs are nature demons, some good, some evil, but most are neutral. They live in the forests, and murky lake waters. They are capable of leaving their tree or watery domains, and living in a regular town, but they are so spiritually tied to their places of nature that, if it is destroyed, the nymph bound to that place dies with it. They are all nature-singers, and are very smart and eloquent.
Troll = Trolls is a desert-dwelling shapeshifting demon that can assume the guise of an animal, normally a hyena or bat. It lures unwary people into the desert wastes or abandoned places to slay and devour them. Trolls also preys on young children, drinks blood, steals coins, and eats the dead. They can take the form of the person most recently eaten. Trolls can collect various powers by killing other demons.
Goblin - Goblins are annoying demons. They often possess various magical abilities, thought none all that great. Goblins are able to move through solid earth as easily as humans move through air. They are very greedy and love money, and food. They like to make a nuisance of themselves. They have the power of Premonition, and like to give people vague warnings about the future.
The ability to speak to Dragons and other reptilian, and birdlike creatures in the language called Dragotongue.
An individual who can speak Dragotongue is known as a Dragomouth. It is a uncommon skill, and is typically hereditary. Most all who find they are a Dragomouth, end up forming a intense bond with a dragon, and becoming a Dragon Rider. Many Dragon Riders become Knights of Dragoth.
A magic-user is a generalized term used to describe a person who is a none Magic-blood, but has come to use magic through other means then genetics. Sorcerers and wizards are magic users.
Sorcerers are people who permanently bind themselves to a demon, to gain their powers and abilities, in exchange the demon gets there soul when they die. Depending on what kind of demon they are bonded to is what kind of powers they get. Demons rarely choose to bind themselves to a Human, but when they do it is because they wish to be human, for the only reason to take a human soul, is to mix it with their own. Though even with a soul, demons only become human in appearance, and emotion, they become what humans call vampires, and are forever thirsty for human blood.
A Wizard is a none magic-blood human (male and female) who practices witchcraft, along side witches. Unlike witches, Wizards need a kind of object (like a wand) to use make magic work.

The priest and priestess live in the temples and churches, and dedicate their whole life to the praying to The Goddess Luna, good works, giving lessons to others from the book of stars, performing blessing, and moon rituals. To be a priest or priestess of Estello Lune, one must get a degree from the Estello Lune Academy, after studying for five years in history, philosophy, religious study, language (reading/writing), calligraphy, and general studies. And than they must pledge, and devote to serve the goddess in life and the afterlife. Once you are a priest or priestess you can not marry or have children, and are to be virtuous at all times, in all thing, and in all places.

Communal worship in the churches/temples takes place on Monday evenings. Priest and priestess read from the book of stars, teach, lead prayers, conduct blessings on marriages, babies, health, and lead in the passing of moon water.
Afterlife - It is believed that if you live up to the virtuous standards, The Goddess Luna will let you become a star and live in perfect bliss with her in the night sky. Background: being an orphan baby that had been abandoned at a very young age. By sheer luck Rinn was found and picked up by a group of traveling gypsies who doubled as entertainers. It was a very diverse group of people who all took care of him in their own way. The group leader was an Elf named Reinard Emris. A tall, fairhaired mer who always had a smile on and the most colorful clothing. This was the man who found Rinn and named him, giving a human his last name even though it was of Elven descent.
Rinn grew up alongside the Troupe, doing his fair share of work and learning to read and write english as well as elven from Reinard. He learned to cook, clean, and prep animals and their skins for diverse uses. When Rinn turned ten years of age, Reinard handed him a shortbow and some blunt arrows and taught him the proper ways of holding, drawing and firing. Rinn loved the gift and played with it everyday. At age 12 he got pretty good, so Reinard decided to teach him further and give him a small part in their shows. He was tasked with shooting an arrow at a fellow teammate for him to catch it. Rinn was supposed to fire the arrow ONLY when the man gave the signal, but one day during the show he drew his bow back with arrow notched and his finger slipped. Loosing the arrow right at the mans face. The arrows were blunt, but it still managed to hit his eye, rendering him blind in one eye. With no depth perception, the man could no longer do his trick and it was all Rinns fault.
As Rinn grew older, he developed his own tricks that were performed without the help of other people. That way he wouldn't make the same mistake twice. He learned much from his "elven father" in many things including archery and hunting. One night after a successful show, some of the gypsies decided to make the payout even better with some shiny belongings in the nearby nice houses. Usually they come back with full hands, but this time they came back with a full group of armed guards and angry civillians. The entire caravan was blamed and most of the troupe were arrested. The others scattered as well as both Rinn and Reinard. Reinard told him to split up, take Faith, and meetup in the next town over in one day. Rinn stayed in that town for two weeks, but Reinard never returned. Rinn feared the worst, but still wanders around towns, doing archery parlor tricks for food and shelter in hopes of one day finding his father again.
Magic: Blood-Singer; Rinn is unaware of this due to his biological parents abandoned him. He's never gotten sick or ill but he just thinks it was because he was well taken care of. unsure if Reinard knew about this little fact and/or if its the reason he has never returned.

-Sharpshooting: trained with a longbow since age twelve, Rinn knows how to weild his bow with amazing accuracy. Although he has never killed a living human being before. (Accidently wounded... yes)
-Trick shooting: being an Entertainer of sorts. Rinn was taught multiple trick shots that he can perform with his bow, for exe: shooting three apples with three arrows at the same time, shooting objects in midair, blowing out candles with an arrow and "Re-lighting" them with fire arrows, and "bouncing" arrows off walls to hit unseen targets. Sometimes combining multiple tricks at once. (Crowd favorite is bouncing an arrow off a midair shield thrown by a teammate and hitting a nearby target.
-horseback riding: riding along with caravans mostly atop his horse named Faith, and currently training how to shoot while on horseback. (Still not very good though)
-Slight of hand: learning some of the other entertainers acts, and using them for his own personal gain sometimes when a fan of the show "forgets" to pay.
-persuasive/charismatic: being in front of a crowd most of the time does not allow one to be shy. Often giving a big smile and flirting with the ladies tend to lead to a bigger tip. Dealing with the angry spouses sometimes needs a silver tongue as well.

Background: Brio was born in Kembre, in Lucciola City. Her mother Enid a barmaid, and father Juan a soldier, had only gotten married when Enid found she was pregnant with his child, not for any sort of love, just responsibility, and then Brio was born. Enid was never the type to be a mother, or wife, having much more fun dancing, drinking, and seducing men at taverns, rather then being home with a baby, and doing chores. When Brio was two, her father had had enough of it all, and took Brio with him to live with his cousins just outside the city. They stayed their for a few months, but Enid came banging on the doors at all hours of the night demanding Brio back, and Juan was heading off to war in Selymar in a few weeks, his cousins did not want to take care of a toddler.
Juan ended up giving Brio back to Enid, because he had no other option. Months later Enid was sick and tired of being a mother, and wanted Juan to come back from battle soon, to take Brio off her hands, but instead she found out that Juan had died at war. Not knowing what to do with a toddler, she shipped three year old Brio off to Declan Island to live with sister Barra, in her home village of Roon. Enid was a native to Declan Island, but she hated the place with a passion, and wanted to stay in Lucciola City, and be rid of all responsibilities. So from age three to fifteen, Brio lived with her Aunt Barra, Uncle Teague, and two cousins Nareen, and Airell, in the little village called Roon located on the northern tip of Declan Island. She even came to call them ma and pa, and considered her cousin to be her own sisters. Her family chose to call her by the name Breena, a traditional Declania name, instead of Brio, a Kembre name.
Growing up on Declan Island was like a little adventure within its self, the island being home to many dragons, and magical creatures. The rocky cliffs, and coastline had merpeople always lounging around in the sunshine, and was even home to some siren demons. All of the natives of the Island were magic-bloods like her, many fire-singers, and dragomouths. She would play in the jungle like forests with her cousins, and with the other village children, climbing trees, racing, hunting for dragon eggs, and unicorns. Brio went swimming in the ocean practically everyday, and during the summer would go sea-sailing around Declan with her family, on their small sail boat, fishing the day away. During winter she would sit by the fire with her family, and paint or help her aunt with weaving on the loom, as her pa sang song, and told stories, but most of all she loved to read about all the different plants and animals. She got letters from her mother every few months, sometimes a package came with the letters, and Brio would always open it gleefully, only to see another fluffy dress or fancy hair ornament. She always wrote her mother two letters back, and would send along pressed flowers, and pieces of fabric she had embroidered.
When she was eleven, her mother came to see her for the first time since she had sent to live here, but not because she wanted to see Brio. Enid was dying from some venereal disease she had had for the last few years, and only wanted pity from her family, which she got none of. Enid die a few weeks later, a funeral was held, and Brio mourned for the mother she never knew, and began going by her real name Brio Lustrare, in honor of her mother, for her mother never liked when people called her Breena Duffy.
When she was thirteen she found a dragon with a broken wing in the forest behind her house. She helped mend the dragons wing, and the dragon flew off, only to comeback everyday to see her. The dragons name was Corrick. Brio and Corrick became friends. Corrick later chose to be binded to Brio, and become her dragon. When Brio was fifteen she decided that she wanted to see the world and travel all around, so she set off on the back of her dragon. She got jobs as a messenger, flying letters, items, and secrets all around. She goes back to visit her family in the winter time.
