Minecraft: The Survival Chapters (OOC)

So, I guess you are all acquainted with the game 'Minecraft'?

Well, it's based off of it. So, if you know it, great. If you don't, ask me.

So, you basically spawn in a strange land, having no recollection of who you are or where you came from. All you know is primal instincts to survive, and how to speak. As you look around, you see trees, animals, plants, but no other people. You observe the surrounding landscape, with a few natural structures, like mountains and valleys. You walk around, hearing chicken, cows, pigs and the occasional sheep, because you know what they are for some reason. You walk around for a while until you get hungry. You walk some more, until you come across a tree full of apples. You pick them and eat until you are satisfied. After you are full, you see the sunset, and then, night time. You hear some strange and creepy noises, and the sound of something flying at you. You turn around quick enough to watch an arrow barely miss you and hit a nearby tree. Terrified, you start running for your life, coming to a cave. But when you get inside and try to block it up, tons of gravel falls onto the entrance. You are relieved, until you realize that was also your exit. Your eyes adjust to the dark, and you sit in a corner until you fall asleep. You wake up and immediately start digging the gravel aside to see a beautiful sunrise. Time to find some way to live.

Good beginning, right? That's basically the first night. For my character, at least. So, this RP will take place on your second day in the new world.


This is a fresh idea, but I think this will do just fine.

If you are interested, I will take reservations here and add you to the list. I will also need a Co-GM. So, yeah.

Age: Unknown/Not Recorded

*Appearance: Rhys stands tall, at about 9 feet, towering over most other creatures in the Minecraft universe. He is an Iron Golem, hulking and tinted with a dull silver. Judging by the vines that grow over him, he is old and in bad condition, needing repair from his long life. That said, he is still healthy enough to move around. His eyes glow like no other Iron Golem's, with a fierce orange that contrasts completely with his old body. There is something else about him that is different, but it is hard to place a finger on what this trait is... It's almost as if he wasn't created by regular means...

*Gender: Male

*Species: Iron Golem

Brief Bio: Rhys has lived for aeons, and is beginning to fall apart at an exponential rate. He is the only Iron Golem with the ability to communicate, but only very simply. He can understand others, which is rare for Iron Golems, but his years of life have left him detached from everything except for an empty glass bottle he carries with him. Rhys can't remember where he came from or where he was made. He has the ability to think and rationalize, but still acts on impulse frequently and still requires care. He wanders alone, searching for someone with the ability to renew his decaying body, and time is quickly running out.

*Major and Minor Skills:
Major: Rhys is incredibly strong, the same as all Iron Golems, but at the cost of intelligence and mental capability. However, something is different about him and he is able to avoid things that could potentially cause him harm, but only when not engaged in any tasks or when calmed.

Minor: Rhys is loyal and caring, and can frequently be seen caring for the life around him, making him useful in several situations. However, he does not have a good sense of direction and can easily wander off without a plain guide. He has been found to spend whole nights just walking circles or walking back and forth in a line up to a mile long, and some nights he just stops and stares at the moon.

Anything Else: Although Rhys has a "name," he will respond to anything you prefer to call him as long as it's shown that that is your name for him. Rhys loves the life the around him, and his protective instincts are incredibly strong. Rhys may often be seen spending time with people or animals, and showing signs of affection for those whom he protects or serves. He is a peaceful being, but will fight any hostile/neutral mobs that come near him or attack something under his "protection." He will not attack any passive mobs, and he will not attack a neutral mob until it becomes provoked and target's something under his protection. He still tries to figure out where he came from, but can not remember anything, especially because he is in such bad shape.

*I promise the whole "magic" thing is not an OP. It's only there so that my character is a bit unique, and so he has the intelligence to avoid lakes and cactus. I still have plenty of weaknesses, I assure you.

Appearance: Albert is of a rather slim build and average height, not having much of a muscular build. Anything Else: Made to be like an alchemist, great for supportive and healing, as well as other recipes.
